Mizu sighed as she brought her legs to her chest and embraced them. “I don’t mean too lock you out, it’s just my nature.” She replied silently resting her body back in the bed Mizu attempted to close her eyes and drift back to sleep; her attempt fell short as images from the nightmare hunted her.
Mizu laid in the bed for awhile before shoving off the blankets in anger the images refused to leave her mind. “I might as well eat.” The girl tired to compromise as she rolled out of the bed. She slowly made her way to the bedroom door still filling fatigued from earlier.
Mizu leaned against the doorway and observed Hiro quietly.

Hiro sat there with all the equipment he carried on him during missions and training. Ten shuirken and kunai, the katana he got before the war, his trench knives he got from kage Seiko his sensei. and 200 feet of wire. He was working on his tench knives after serving him so well in his fight. He really had the guy on the ropes. He didn't really care that he lost. he was just glade Mizu was back in his life.
He ran a cloth down the blade making sure all the blood was gone. Slowly sliding his fingers in the holes he did a couple of quick jabs and and slices. When he deemed they were good he put them back in the holsters on his vest. "I don't understand her sometimes. She knows I love her, but she doesn't seem to trust me. I just want to protect her. Maybe she doesn't need protection anymore." Hiro said, talking to himself.

Kage stood. The boy thought he knew everything. Even without Star, he was capable of quite a lot. True, without the help of the chakra stones, he couldn't perform many jutsu or anything but still, the boy thinking he knew him already was a grave mistake. And fire...how cute that he thought Kage was afraid of flames. He'd have to rectify that sometime and sometime soon.
But as for now, he was bored again and left without a word.

Hiro picked up his Kunai and his shuriken and fell back on the couch. He hadn't tossed these things in awhile. It was kinda funny. He had gotten pretty good with them since his academy days. It seemed like so long ago when Mizu and Takara woke him up to go to class. He was still a tough guy back then to. Hiro spun one of the shuriken on his finger. As he looked towards his target on the wall. It was a picture of Rei with red circles on the vital organs, and the arms. "Lets see if I still got it." Hiro still sat on the couch as he reeled back his arms wrapping them on his body. He let them fly as six shuriken sliced through the air, soon followed by four more. As the shuriken flew from the couch all nine found a solid space along the heart. The next hit directly in the forehead. Hiro didn't know if it was his hatred for Rei or if it was his skill. "Seems Like my Shuriken are still ready for blood." Hiro said as he began to remove the Shuriken. "Lets see If my Kunai do any better."

Hiro plopped back down on the couch ignoring his surrounding. "I should probably go to the mountains for awhile and train. I am sure the village would understand if I did that. there is just to much going on and I can not concentrate. I could give Karite my key and he could take care of Mizu while I am gone." Hiro spun his kunai one time before throwing one from each hand. Watching them spiral he saw them connect directly with Rei's left arm and head. "The first shot was a little off, but the other one was pretty dead on. I think I could take the chunin exams by storm. Tomorrow morning I will wake up Mizu and then go to the kage office to see if I could part from the village till the exams. Karite's old hut on the mountain range be the ocean would be perfect."

Hiro spun the kunai on his index fingers and thought out-loud. "Wonder what other shinobi will be there. I heard becoming chunin is harder then going Jounin. If I don't train my body into the ground then who knows what could happen. I might actually fail which is something I can not do. I can not spend anytime on a cell with genin I am ready for some real missions." Hiro thinking of actually failing tossed the Kunai throwing off his thinking pattern. the first kunai matched next to the first batch hitting Rei between the lips. The next bounced off the lame and hit the fridge. "Should probably be careful with that."

Mizu continued her observation of Hiro up until be began throwing kunai at a picture of a man on a wall. Deciding she would eat to regain some strength Mizu began to walk to the kitchen; but before she left Hiro’s presence she said “I do trust you, I just won’t allow my problems to be your burden. I wouldn’t stay with you if I didn’t trust you.”
Grabbing a bowl and plate Mizu got a little of everything as she sat down and blessed her food. She was somewhat afraid to eat everything looked good, but thinking back she could never recall a time Hiro cooked. “Is this safe?” Mizu asked jokingly trying to lighten the mood.

Hiro just laughed. Forgetting that Mizu had been away from him for so long she didnt know he had changed into a straight clean cut boy. "I have changed a lot." Throwing the first Kunai piercing the right arm as the sentence ended. "I clean my weapons and gear, I make sure the house is clean and I cook on a regular basis." One more kunai let go from his right hand and Hit Rei in the head. "I also make sure my roommates do their share so don't think as long as you live with me you will be slacking and living messy. I also might spend long periods of time away from here on training. I will leave plenty of food and a note if that happens."

Mizu smiled it was odd how much he changed but then again she has been gone for awhile. “When have you ever know me to be messy with house work, I helped mom with the house all of the time. Not to mention our love of cooking together.” Mizu reminded as she stared down at her meal she couldn’t seem to have a conversation without thinking of her mom today. “Or have you already forgotten about the cookies we use to bake for you and Takara.” Images of her nightmares flashed in Mizu’s head as she said the girls name. Trying to put the thoughts out of her mind Mizu decided to eat before her food got cold.
Mizu searched the table and her plate but wasn’t able to find what she was looking for. “Were did I put my chopsticks?” She asked herself as she checked her lap. “Guess I forgot.” She said to herself as she got up to retrieve a pair.

Hiro clenched both of his kunai in his hands. He knew there were two people to blame for their deaths. They did not die for lack of courage or skill, but spite and sorrow. "Takara's name is not spoken so lightly. I pray for every full moon as well as mom at the shrine. As much as I love her I made sure Karite promised me she would make it back alive. He told me she was murdered by my own clan member." Hearing a quick whistle and a thud as a Kunai hit Rei in the head. "That man Rei Tategami. Who now is dead and I am grateful. As for mother..." Another quick whistle and a thud again as Hiro slowly spoke the words of his next target. "Mistress, the master of Water. Her and her followers are the reason she is dead. I have avoided the past and moved on, but you have just been introduced to it. I understand the mourning period."

Hiro grabbed two more kunai and stuck another in between his dry cracked lips. Some people really didn't know how hard Hiro trained. If they did they would understand why he deserved the rank of chunin so badly. He had worked for 5 hard long years and he wasn't going to quite now. He chucked the kunai standing up. Hitting rei in the right arm, the other missed completely. "Damn first one." grabbing four more he stuck them along his belt as he walked to the table.

Hiro leaned over the noodles and fish as he pulled two Kunai from their tips and flung them towards Rei without looking. "I am going to get some study time in the library don't wait up. I don't know whats it like in their so it may take some time." As a thud echoed the room Hiro began wrapping up his food to go. Hiro had pierced old Rei in the heart. The next in the head.

Walking to the door Hiro picked the last two Kunai and chucked them over his shoulder. Turning around as he let them go. "Almost forgot my shirt, and pants, and katana, and trench knives. "I am still forgetful I guess." Hiro said laughing. Jumping over the couch and dressing himself he left the vest on the gound as the Kunai Pierced Rei's right arm and just missed his neck. He strapped in his weapons and tied his holsters around his waist. "I am to lazy right now to grab my Kunai and shuirken so if I get into trouble I will have to rely on my jutsu for long range. You know.." Hiro paused. "I think I am going to get rid of that vest. I never like it, wasn't my style. Night Mizu." Kissing her on his way out he grabbed his food and closed the door. "Going to become a chunin. Maybe I will grab a mission or two before I set out on my training in the mountains, or maybe even the forbidden island."

Samegoroshi walked through the empty streets of Kirigakure with a sense of satisfaction that can be had by those higher on the food chain. He was bored with the academy for the moment and wanted to feel that rush of sadist glee that only comes from a one sided battle. He looked through the empty housing and through the alleyways for a rat or perhaps someones lost pet to... play with. He smiled a deep sadistic smile and continued his search.
