She just loved the nonexistent walk to the library from her house. She was only two doors down from it, and the convenience was just an added bonus.
Only...she had forgotten. Everything was closed on Sunday. The laminated white sign hung on the door, dampening her hopes for the day. God, that was dumb...smacking her forehead, she looked around for something to do...

Very...good. Ezriel shivered...and did it again. The sound was almost relieving...and the blood helped lower his stress.

The cave opening...didn't look that promising. Dark and wet. Wet and dark. Oscuridad y mojó. It kinda looked gross. Well...here goes...
She peered inside...and climbed in.
Blackness. You'd think the blinding white snow and seemingly amplified sunlight outside would do some good...but the cave seemed to swallow it all in one gulp. It was warmer in here...but also far, far scarier.
A dull roar emanated constantly from deep within. It, uh...it was probably the wind or something.

Sasha sighed as she walked away, feeling her plans for the day being crushed. Shaking off the melancholy, she wandered around on the streets, not sure what she should do, only knowing that she wanted to be outside, and away from the stupid lake that made up her home. Finaly making up her mind, she headed towards the ferry that would take her across to the lake to its otherside where surely their was something that she could do that didn't involve water.

"Some light would be nice." she whispered to herself, attempting to ignore the roaring. She was passing it off as wind, and nothing would deter her from believing that. She walked forewards a bit, careful where she stepped and eyes wide for any spiders. She HATED spiders, horrible things that they were. But what were the chances of any being in her, it was too cold, right? In her own mind, however, the place was crawling with the, waiting for her to fall down some deep dark hole then they'd crawl all over her and eat her flesh-
She shrieked when her own hair brushed the back of her neck.
Eyes wide and breathing heavily she clenched her chest where her heart was, as if it would stop it from going a mile a minute. She felt like she had just ran a marathon from one little scare. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up and she looked around. Why did she come in here again? Oh yeah! Curiosity!
...wasn't that the thing that killed the cat...?

Whud. Whud. WHUD. THWACK!
The body took a beating. Ezriel kicked it into submission, finalyy booting the whole thing across the hallway, leaving a perfect red trail of blood across the perfect white floor. Rage took him over for a brief second, until, looking back...he saw a small grate where the body once lay.
Aha. She had moved the body to cover it up. Was she testing him? No matter her motive, Night had still concealed this very important fact from Ezriel, and that was just plain...rude.
But now he had his "out", and planned to use it. Somehow.

Ugh. Water. Pfft. She made her way through the Red Grove, the town's famed supply of apple trees, which was how she always got to the Riverboat Transport Service...it smelled wonderful, and usually made her forget all of her troubles...
But this time...it was different. Now halfway through the grove, she heard low voices off to her right. Two were male, the other...female. She didn't sound too happy...in fact, it almost seemed like she was whimpering...the boys continued their taunting in harsh rasps as Sasha strolled through...
Who were they pushing around, and why?
She could see the oasis now, about a quarter-mile from here. A perfect dove upon the giant blue stain, the boat signified her happiness in such a drab place. But it only siled twice on Sundays...now, at noon...and again at 6PM...Looking ahead at the soon-to-depart ferry in the distance, Sasha was faced with a choice...self-reprieve, or heroism...

She took an uneasy step forward, into the blackness.
THUD.
s**t...it was a greasy...slimy rock wall...
She turned back the way she came.
SLAM.
...Another wall?
She went left, right, all around...but only with these results. What the ********?? It was pitch black...she couldn't see around her...but she knew she was cased in. The cave...seemed to have a mind of it's own!
WHOOSSSSHHHHH.......
The roar grew louder...whatever was making it was still deeper in...

"What the hell?!" She exclaimed, shrinking away from one wall and slamming into another. "Okay this is NOT funny!" she squeaked out.

"How am I supposed to get out of this." She whispered, eyes wide yet again. After convincing herself that it was just wet algea on the wall she reached out and searched it for something, ANYTHING that could get her out of here. A hole preferrably. Maybe she had just walked into a corner, yeah that's it. And then she had forgotten which way she came in, yup, that's COMPLETELY what happened.
Somehow she doubted it as she listened to the roaring deep inside. What WAS that anyways?!

She couldn't tell where she was. Breathing became...difficult. It was tight in here. And wet...searching for a new passage, she wished she had picked up those matches after she threw them down in frustration...
She looked up, hoping to reach some kind of...higher floor, perhaps...?
