She slid free of his grasp and truned. She slowly began to walk away.The voice was back. 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? GO BACK! STOP STOP!' she broke into a run. 'WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?' Now she must have been crazy for answering it but she did (in her mind). 'I can't lie to myself!!...WHAT ARE YOU TALIKING ABOUT!?...He can't like me. I'm not one to even be liked!...NO HE LIKES YOU!! NOW GO BACK TO HIM!!!...I can't!!!...WHY NOT!?...I'm afraid....OF?...Caring and then getting hurt! The same thing has happened to me before! I cared about mom and dad and they sent me off to live with that mad old bad Gram!...HOW COULD HE DO SOMETHIG LIKE THAT!?...I know he can't!...THEN GO BACK!!...NO! I don't want to get hurt..if I have to live life alone the so be it! I don't want to get hurt again!!! If I start to care too much something will happen and it'll just be hurt once again...'
She couldn't stop herself....She began to cry as she was running. She ran to her room and slamed the door, banged her head aginst it and sat leaning aginst it. Once again the voice was back but not as annoying, 'NOW YOU'VE DONE IT...Shut up.'

Sounji couldn't, he did something he's never done before. He thoguht it was going very well but it wasn't she had ran from him. As she ran he didn't notice the tears that ran from her eyes, and came to a conclusion. "It must have been a prank, I can't believe I fell for it, I should just keep to myself"
With that being decided, he started up to Darkness's room, 'man i really really liked her, alot and I guess I was just blinded by my wants"
Sounji then walked into Darkness's room and pulled off his shoes, he looked around and saw the extra bed and Sounji said out loud,"wow just as he said."
Sounji then slipped into bed and started reading a book called, The Book Thief
As he read the book his vision went blurry, he noticed it was a tear in his eye, he couldn't read anymore, he was hurt, and Miyoko would not leave his mind, she was there, and he couldn't take any longer.
He then pounded his fist on his book and thought, ' I'm such a fool for falling for this, I don't even know what was worse, this or being picked on at my old school.'

Miyoko felt so ashamed. She was a true idiot. She was crying in the dark in her room.
She only just realized how dark it was. She flipped the light swich, noting happened. "Oh great!" She walked up to a small area where she had a spare light bulp.
She walked back and began to unscrew the light bulp. It fell. Crashed onto her desk. A piece dounced up and hit her had which she used to shield her face. It was now logged in her hand. "AHHHH!!!" She ran to her door, without thinking kicked it open and she began to run again. Strate to the nurses office. She passed the dorms and knew Sounji was in there. She wanted to stop but shy would she if there was glass logged in her hand!?
"IM SORRY SOUNJI!!!" She yelled this without thinking but who cared if he heard or idin't right now? She kept running.

Sounji jumped out of bed to see what was going on, when he looked out of the dorm he noticed blood on the floor he followed it all the way to the nurses office.
He say Miyoko with the glass in her hand, He looked at her and couldn't say anything.
'She's hurt, I need to say something I mean she helped me when i fainted'
All he said was, "what happened?"

She looked grimly at the ground. "I wasn't paying attention when I was handeling glass, I dropped it ant well..." *she heldout her hand for examineation. "Sounji.....I'm so.....so, so, so, so sorry!" She threw herself on him in a hug. 'IF YOU LET GO OF HIM I AWEAR I"LL KILL YOU...Shut up I'm not planing to....OH...UH...GOOD THEN.' She was crying again. "Forgive me....Please....."

Sounji was even more confused, 'is this some kind of sick cruel joke! she continuing it? or is this the real thing? nevertheless she needs to get her cut cared for she going to blackout.
Sounji then sliped from her grip and said, "I don't see the nurse here, so I will care for you, I know how to do it Please sit down."
Sounji then went to go get the tools needed to treat her injury.

Tears were still streaming down her face. She sat down. "The nurse...i think she left for the day...Thank you Sounji." 'YOU LET GO!...No I didn't, he left my arm of his own accord...THEN HUG HIM AGAIN!...heck no!' "Please!" she cried franticly. "JUST FORGIVE ME!!!"

Sounji grabbed her hand gently and started to pull out the glass out of her hand. 'I don't know what to do......'
He kind of ignored her for a while and continued to pull the glass out.
He then looked up, wiped away her tears and said,"you know that hurt alot, seeing you run from me with out saying anything. You just ran nothing else, it seemed like a joke, I've never done anything like that before, you were the first person i ever like, told them I liked you, and if you haven't noticed I'm very shy!'
He then wrapped her opened cut with bandages and then asked, better?
He then lifted her up from the sit and hugged her again, and whispered in her ear, "don't scare me like that, be more careful okay?"

Sounji said,"I will let you explain, only for a while, it's pretty late."
He than sat her down and sat next to her.
"Tell me," Sounji said eagerly, "I want to know about you, but lets keep it down, I think we've made enough noise for tonight."
Sounji looked her in the eyes, hoping to learn more of Miyoko.

"Every time I ever cared about someone I got hurt. I cared about my mother and father and father far too much...when I tried to stop them fighting theyed scream and yell at me...After 4 years of it they were sick of my fighting back and they sent me to live with my Grandmother. Grandmother went mad when I was 12...I still live with her though. The doctor said she was no trouble since we had a maid and she could take care of her. When my brother joined the military I began preying for him and he nearly died because his apendix had burst because he got hit in the gut with the nonleathel end of a gun."
She paused. How to explainfrom here on...?
"After that...I learned to keep to myself and not care for nor speak to anyone for fear one of us would be hurt... and I know full well this sounds silly but it's the truth. I was tired of getting slapped in the face for doing the right thing." She embracedd him. "Like I said please just forgive me..."

Takara looked at the boy who was still waiting for an answer.
Damn! What do I say? What do I say?!?!?
"I uh, a rock? Well um nope! I've never seen a rock...no! Not since I went outside which was this morning!"
While Takara was saying all of this she was walking backwards to the door.
"I umm"
Takara tripped over something and landed on the floor.
"Ow!"

"Woah!" I look into the window, where the girl tripped on something, landing backwards.
"You OK?"
Then I realize just how suspicious her comments were on the rock, and look down at the stone, still in my hand.
so she threw it. I wonder why...
I let go of it. it drops to the sidewalk, making a little *Clack*.
"Bad day, huh?" I say, able to sympathize with the feeling.
I've been known to lash out, too.
I put my hands on the window sill, push myself up through the window, and walk over to the girl.
I extend a hand, and help her up.
"Well, My names Sohail. It was nice to meet you. and..." I look through my pockets, and pull out a business card for the Cafe I work at on wednesday and saturday nights. Handing it to her, I say, "here. you might want to swing by; Wednesday and saturday nights, 8:30 to 9:00. I do a little standup, you might like it. Anyways..."
I jump out of the window, land on the sidewalk and turn around.
"I'll be seeing you around."
I walk away, same direction I came. it takes me a moment to realize I've left my backpack at that girls window.
I run back.

Takara got up and grabbed the backpack...she looked at Sohail who has just returned.
" I believe this is yours..I'm Takara." she said as she handed out the backpack.
Takara also took notice of the card she got.
She smiled.
" I'll be sure to stop by!" Takara said.
"Bye."
