"I'll be fine once I eat a little more." Kiba said then stopped beside a table in the living room and lit a lamp. He turned to her and gave her a small smile. "If I took my fill, you wouldn't be standing here right now. Sure, I could have taken another sip or two but you would be weak and dizzy." He reached over and brushed his fingers across her cheek. "I didn't want to hurt you." then he looked down. "I...didn't want to have to ask you either. I should be able to hunt by now..."

When Zabuza got to the edge of his territory, he didn't even stop but entered another's land without a second thought. There wasn't anyone in this forest that he was afraid of. Sure, there were others stronger than him but they were mostly afraid of him. There were only a couple that would fight him if they saw him and one who would if he had no choice.

He closed his eyes as he walked, knowing the path well enough not to need to look. He searched the forest with his mind for 'his' human, making sure he was still in the same area. He had had no choice but to leave him earlier, but now he was going to reclaim what was his.

Kiba shook his head. "Thank you but you don't need to do that." He pulled his hand away and headed for the kitchen. "I'll ask Shika if he get find you something to eat when he comes in." he pulled a glass out of the cupboard and empty a pouch of blood into it. After finishing that one, he refilled it with another.

"I guess...it would depend on what it is. I don't want to make you worry out give you problems you shouldn't have to deal with." Kiba set the empty glass to the side then went in to sit beside Hinata. "I wouldn't want to lie to you either."

After Shino had left, Shikamaru thought about going inside but thought he'd give the two there a few more minuets alone. Instead he left the rabbit beside the door and jumped up into the tree, going all the way to the top. He then got comfortable in his favorite spot and stared up at the moon.

"But Kiba-kun, by not telling my if something is wrong then you're lying to me. Even if you didn't mean to. I'm your friend, if something is wrong I want you to tell me. It won't be a burden to me cause then I know that you trust me enough to tell what's wrong. And that would make me very happy." Hinata flushed, unsure if she had said that many words, as strongly as she had, at one time.

Haku looked up at the new comer. was evry vampire in this forest going to keep him from finding the man he had come here for?! He stood up, brushing off loose grass and dirt. "He is going to do nothing with me but lead me to the one I came to see."

"Kiba...If you want me to go then I will. I'll go back home. But I will come back and I'll bring Akamaru too. He misses you so much and I miss you a lot too. It'll be like visiting. Just a lot more...risky." She tried to smile. "And wouldn't he be worried that in killing me he might chase you away?"

"You've forgotten; Shikamaru says when you can go, if ever. I can leave either...not unless he lets me. It's kinda hard to explain without making him look cold but, he's like my...owner. I can't really do anything without his permission." Kiba bit his lip and shook his head a bit. "He's my sire so he can make me do whatever he wants because our bond is that strong. Because he saved my life, I do what he says with no question."

Shikamaru heard someone below him and looked over the side of the branch he was on. "Hey, what are you doing here?" he stood up on the branch he'd been sitting on and jumped down to the ground, landing without a sound. It really must be 'invade Shikamarus territory day'. He thought with a frown as he looked at the girl. "Well?"
