"You were just what?" James was more curious than he was annoyed. He wondered how much the girl had heard, or why she had stopped outside of his room, of all rooms. Jamie was used to being left to his own devices, whether he liked or not. At the moment, he didn't really mind her presence. "Because I was just about to go out for coffee and costume planning, and I don't think I would much mind company." He shrugged. Might as well get to know these people.

Nori smiled at Lily's approval, and looked her up and down as she asked for an opinion. " Well, you and Fiore may both need to bind your chests, but with thick enough fabric in the jackets, it may not be too much of a deal. And maybe I can find a flexible binding so it won't be a bother to go without a bra." Although he was talking about something personal, he said it with a brisk professional tone, which could make any woman feel comfortable, even though he was male. "Leon sounds like a cool name! Honestly, I haven't thought of something for myself yet..." He was determined to focus on the others first. He thanked her for helping him take supplies out of the overstuffed bag. He could start measuring her right away, in the empty, echoing, privacy of the ballroom, the dress he was wearing was too draping, and he had to continuously push up the flowing sleeves. Opting to change, Nori excused himself for a moment to go upstairs for a more reasonable set of clothes. He ran upstairs to his room, and spyed Fiore and James starting a conversation on the way, but he couldn't stop to say hi. Sliding off the dress, he pulled on his favorite rag-tag jeans and small-size faded t-shirt before coming back down the stairs. When he reached the ballroom again, he quickly scribbled childishly onto a piece of paper and slapped it onto the front of the ballroom doors.

The 'knock first' was in case someone wanted to change. Nori still didn't have the fabrics that he needed, so just some simple measuring would do for now. He instructed Lily how to stand and scrolled the measuring tape along her body. He didn't want to invade her personal space, so he had the tape hover very lightly above her skin.

Lily stood back after arranging Nori's stuff to his exact orders and then waited for Nori when he left suddenly. Looking around the ballroom and seeing she was alone, Lily let out a great, big laugh. "Ah, man. I've passed as a boy many a time with this chest."Slapping her knee as she calmed down to a grin Lily then shook her head,No,it's Leon Ikoto. Get in to character, now!Lily thought as she stood straight and stripped off her tank top and overshirt rags. Lily flexed for a bit to see if she could still pull off the skimpy look and as she was in mid pose she saw the loot she had been collecting up since her return to her beat on the rooftops. Going over to all of the miscellanous items she collected them and made an arrangement near Nori things that way Nori could see them and feel free to use them. Once that was done Lily went to sit in one the chairs by drapping her head on one arm while her legs hung off the other arm to wait for Nori's return. She had begun to doze when she heard the slap of something on the ballroom doors that made her rise up on her elbow to see what caused the sound.

Jaydn raised an eyebrow at his youngest brother and crossed his arm over his chest. Continuing to speak in English to Xavier because Jaydn was simply more fluent in the language and it slightly grated on Xavier's nerves that Jaydn wasn't speaking Japanese, the oldest mafia offspring asked, disbelief apparent, "Doesn't want to speak to anyone or just me in particular?" Something about the younger boy made Jaydn doubt his words. Perhaps it was because Xavier had played these tricks and told these lies before just for kicks and Jaydn remembered the few times he actually believed his brother. Of course, they were still young at the time so there wasn't too much harm done but the fact was still there: Though Xavier didn't mean harm, his words didn't have too much creditability to Jaydn.
Going on with his train of thought, Jaydn said, rolling his eyes as he spoke, "I highly doubt Uncle Han would want you, of all people, watching his door when he's got a whole mafia to-" Jaydn stopped abruptly before turning a piercing gaze on Xavier, "Wait. Did you just say you were on vacation? Who's running the Coyotes then?" Jaydn hoped against everything that it wasnt who he thought it was.

Xavier often went on ‘vacation’, as he liked to call it, when it was least suitable for his brother. His excuse, though he didn’t find that he needed one, was that he was over worked by Jaydn, and as such a vacation was warranted. Xavier burst out laughing, whole hearted laughter, that made it seem like he wasn’t a conniving trickster. A smug grin crossed his lips before his expression turned to that of mock thought, “Well, the name may start with an M,” He paused for what he felt to be dramatic effect, “And may end with an X.” Grinning wider still, he moved closer to Jaydn, and then with a shrug said, “But I can’t be sure.”
Xavier slung his arm around Jaydn, and though he was supposed to be his younger brother, it would be hard to tell unless one looked at facial features. Xavier looked younger in the face, but that seemed to be the only telling detail, that was, of course, until Xavier began to talk. He had only turned seventeen the past winter, and it showed in his maturity. Being that he was the youngest son, he has somewhat of a selfish attitude, but as his brother’s wont give into him, he finds other ways to get the things that he wants. Viewing life as a game, Xavier tends to grate on the nerves of those he is close to, as it is one of his ways of showing affection.

It was exactly as Jaydn had feared. Pushing Xavier away from him, Jaydn exclaimed, "You idiot! You left Maddox in charge?" Maddox, their middle brother, was about as timid as a fieldmouse and in no way able to control the Coyotes. Jaydn, knowing his mafia members as he did, would not be surprised to find that the members were having their fill of fun with no regard to Maddox and his overlooked 'orders'. Why am I related to these two?! It was not to say that he regretted having the two younger boys as his family, they just annoyed and frustrated him to no end.
Continuing to rant at Xavier, Jaydn feared how badly his mafia had spiraled out of control since he had left it. "I gave you that responsibility for a reason. You know just as well as I do that Maddox has the backbone of a jellyfish. How long have you been on vacation, you brat?" 'Brat' was perhaps the closest thing to a nickname that Jaydn had given his youngest brother. It was an endearing sort of name, though usually spoken in annoyance. This wasnt the first time that this had happen and it most likely wouldnt be the last. Jaydn seemed to always hold some figment of hope that Xavier would miraculously become responsible and Maddox would develop the air of command that was seemingly inherited through the Matsui blood, a gene he seemed to have missing.

Xavier’s good hearted laughter seemed to die away when Jaydn pushed him away from his body. Folding his arms over his chest, Xavier lowered his eyes. “I left you a second in command.” He spoke as if he were hurt by his brother’s words, but anyone who knew him knew that there was almost nothing that Jaydn could say that would actually offend Xavier. Xavier had in fact left Jaydn a second in command, but it wasn’t to say that it was someone that Jaydn would approve of. He never likes anything I do. Xavier thought, almost with satisfaction. He was responsible, just not on the little things that wouldn’t really do any harm. Sometimes he would ‘forget’ to tell his brother a piece of information, but it wasn’t really any of the ‘vital’ pieces, and if it was, he was sure to tell Jaydn the instant before it was ‘too late’.
Turning his attention away from Jaydn, Xavier moved back to Kyrin, “Jaydn is a slave driver.” He began, talking as if Jaydn weren’t around, “All he ever does is nag. Nag nag nag nag. Can I come play in your mafia?” He put on a hopeful smile, trying to get a reaction out of Kyrin. Xavier went places at his own leisure, thus being at his Uncle Han’s instead of playing leader to the Coyotes.

Kyrin watched her cousin’s for a short while, a smile tugging at her lips. She had always found Xavier to be fun, even when he was just a little boy and would follow Jaydn around because he looked up to the older boy. Kyrin thought that, still, of Xavier. He probably missed Jaydn. She thought lightly. She figured that Xavier had gotten lonely with just Maddox and the Coyotes; she knew that Jaydn was the only fun one to match wits with. As Xavier moved from Jaydn to her, and back, and then back again, she couldn’t help but laugh slightly. And when Xavier complained about Jaydn, in a playful manner, Kyrin grinned at her younger cousin. Being that she and Xavier were closer in age then her and Jaydn, she often that having him around gave her an advantage over Jaydn. But as it was a rare thing for her to actually see Xavier, she took every chance that she got.
“I know he is Xay, I know.” Kyrin said, patting the taller teen on the arm. She was in a playful mood at the moment, because that was the way the she often acted around Xavier, but then she got to thinking. “Ah! Xay!” She exclaimed, “Would you do something for me?” And as she knew she had his attention she said, “I think I need your expertise.” The way Kyrin saw it, she had found her computers person, although she knew Jaydn would just about throw a fit over the idea.

Is he inviting me?...Fiore felt the back of her neck grow how with some sweat, and she still studdered a bit... "I...uh..." She cleared her throat a bit and pointed both of her eyes at him this time. She never got invited anywhere, since she was usually in her house training, or doing something for her father. "I was going to the public library to do research...but that sounds like a good idea." She continued to look up at him and gave him a nervous smile, which turned out slightly awkward since she usually didn't even bother smiling.

"The library? Don't even know where that is in this city... Would it bother you too much to show me?" He looked away a little, smiling embarrassedly, "I'm ehh... Kinda' new here." Truth be told, the only things Jamie knew around this city was a bookstore, a coffee shop, and a music store, and the third was only becahse he had broken a string on his bass a couple weeks back. Speaking of... He figured he should put the instrument away before he left, he didn't really want anyone (namely Ian, who had been known to sneak into the room without Jamie's permission) to find the thing, possibly mess it up in any way.

Fiore scratched her head a bit and straightened out her shoulders a bit to make her seem slightly taller, hopefully it would help her out socially, or at least that was what she was going for. She put her arm out to lean casually against the wall, but slid a bit. She normally wasn't so clumsy, but she scratched her head instinctively. "I don't mind."

Jamie smiled a little bit, stifling a laugh. "Smooth," he teased, good-naturedly. "But eh, before we go, I have to put my things away." He bowed out, letting himself back into his room but leaving the door open so as not to isolate his new companion. She was welcome to come inside, without words he made that clear. He took the bass by its slender neck, and brushed it off, making sure the tuning pegs were in order. He held the instrument reverently, ran his fingers along the strings, and finally went to put it back in the closet.

Fiore scratched her head nervously still, but made an akward sounding laugh as though to laugh at herself...Great...now I'm a spazz...She looked into his room but didn't step inside. Her eyes widened a bit as she studied all of it, the carpet, the arrangement, as though she were memorizing. Then she turned to Jamie and looked at his instrument. "I heard you playing...you were...uh...really good." Fiore's face turned a little bit red, not because of infatuation, but more just admitting that she liked something. She normally didn't have time to like much of anything, nor anywell to share it with.

Jamie set the bass down, and closed the closet door. "Thank you," he smiled. He didn't think her to be a spazz, or anything of the sort, he didn't mind her at all. He grabbed his plain black sneakers, pulling them on, and left the room, closing the door behind him. "So shall we be off?" He smiled, he didn't know if he meant it or not, but he smiled. Jamie thought about it for a little while, he wasn't upset over anything, nothing was depressing him, no memories haunting him, but he wasn't happy, but neither was he unhappy. Still, he smiled convincingly.

Fiore nodded and they walked out the door and down the sidewalk, and Fiore looked up at him as they walked, her height clearly not comparing to his, which made sense after all. She wanted to know a bit about him, especially since she hadn't really ever been able to actually talk to a person like this. But, she was especially curious because she hadn't known him when she used to spy on the mafia. "Have you thought of a name yet?"
