She looks around, a little more than stunned to find herself and the others in a room, rather than by the 'gate. "Uhm, Sir. I hate to be boring but.. Where the hell has the Stargate gone now?! I trust your judgment of place and all, but I'd like to know we can leave if we need to." She shuffled uncomfortably from foot to foot. She edged around a low hanging chain, brushing it slightly with her jacket. It creaked with age, and dust particles could be seen to move through the air around. "Achoo. Pardon.." She blushed through embarrassment.

"Oh.." She was as uneasy about all this fighting as she looked. "I don't think I have much in the way of weapons.. a standard issue knife and a little hand-gun.. thing. Will those do?" She took them out, presuming they would have to. What ever happened to the idea of figuring out those runes? She wondered privately.

Waters stiffened at the sound of the clock striking midnight...the booming gongs rang through the air, and he strapped his staff onto his back and slid a mid-range laser gun into his belt. "Eyes? Exactly...what...is going to attack us? And...why? Eyes, you've kind of left us in the dark here." Waters trailed off, squinting in the gloom to find everyone else.

She shuffles closer to the voices of Waters and Eyes. "I agree, I'd really like to know what I'm shooting at before I shoot at it." Her concern was masked by the apparent lack of light in this strange room. "With all due respect, Sir, you seem to know vastly more than anyone else about this planet, the inhabitants and their history, any chance you'd share that with me sometime? I'd really like to know, and you need to look back before you can forward." With some thought, she replied to herself, holding the gun just a little tighter as she scanned for movement. "Okay, probably a bad time."

General Jupiter was getting worried. SG3 had been gone far too long. She'd taken action. JL had, alone, got herself a ride with the Asgard. They'd agreed to beam her down to the planet and would return in two days to pick her up again if she signalled. The Asgard owed her and she used it to her advantage. JL was ready, packing a halmet and bullet-proof vest, heavy uniform boots and her usual BDU's she beamed down just opposite from Space, eyes flashing in annoyance, a P-90 in her hands, zat on one leg, handgun on the other, grenades on her vest along with C4 and a knife. She wasn't the fat, jolly General like Hammond had been. No. She meant business. As she reached the planet's surface she swore loudly at SG3. "You three have had me in fits!" She all but screamed at them, hoping to make at least one of them flinch. She wasn't really aware of the current situation, however.

Too shocked by the sudden shift of light in front of her to register the voice accompanying it, she shut her eyes, turned her head, and shot twice at the space in front of her, slightly off to the right, due to an inability to properly control her gun. She yelled just in case the others hadn't heard already.

Okay, she hadn't expect -that- as a greeting. The first shot missed thanks to a quick move to the left but the second shot buried itself into the General's arm and she ended up on her arse. Blood stained the BDU's sleeve and JL swore again. Louder then last time. She fixed Space will a steely glare. "Good shootin' cowgirl." She muttered through grit teeth, clamping a hand round her arm, blood seeping through her fingers.

Noticing her mistake with varying degrees of shock, she dropped her pack on the floor and dug around, surfacing with an antiseptic wodge of melanin, and a rather enormous roll of meditape. "Ah-- I'm so sorry. D'you want to try and get the bullet out? Or just cover it up?" She sincerely hoped it would be the latter, but knew it was more than her duty, as she was the one to plant the offending piece of metal in the General's arm, to remove it. She very nearly ended up the General's lap, as she caught her foot in the bag strap and stumbled forward. Instead she landed on her knees, beside the injured arm, melanin, tape and medical tweezers in hand. "I'm really sorry. Honestly. I didn't mean to" Indicating to JL's arm,"to shoot you.. Eyes said we needed to fight. I didn't know it was you." Her scrambled apology ended with severe confusion.

Waters staggered up from the spot where he had dove when JL appeared in a screaming rage and the gun had gone off. Brushing himself off, he stood and fixed his uniform, checking his weapons and trying to slow his heartrate. "Ah, yes, General. Welcome." Waters nervously greeted JL as he tried to make himself look presentable. "We were just about to...fight...uh, something. Eyes? What ARE we going to fight, exactly?" Waters asked, peering at Eyes through the darkness.

Eyes stood dumb-founded at the scene that had just un-folded......."um..." Eyes instantly stood at attention and saluted at JL. Then he pulled one of the red gems out of his boxes and pointed it at JL and said "Heal". The bullet vanished and the hole closed. "Now that was a suprising twist. the asgard beam goes to the time of this planet were in. Il have to research that. Now we have bigger problems to fry. At midnight every day a-" A swoosh cuts him off. "Crap, looks like your stuck here for a while JL. That was the Anti-tech beam. Keeps you from beaming out. There is a gang in town. Led by a Vampire like dude. He`s cursed. The gang attacks the town at midnight and leaves at dawn. So we have to leave this tower so they dont accedently stumle onto the gate and use it for their purposes. only I know where its hidden in here and if I tell you guys if their leader gets a hold of you he can force it out. Oh and here everyone take thses for the time being." He holds out some glowing bullets. (take them if you want if not dont). After whoever wanted them took them Eyes pulls out his long and short sword. He packs the rest of his stuff into the moving boxes and takes some of the gems. He hands one to everyone. (Will them to do what you want them to do). "Take these and be careful how you use them." Then he uses one to mask the stuff he had in the boxes and goes over and begins to descend the clock tower stairs. You can already hear yelling in the street. *Eyes will mask the door to the tower when everyone exits.*

JL was impressed by Space's tweezer things. They looked pointy and jabbing those in the wound might've hurt. Eyes, however, seemed to have more of those glowy gem things and, with a mild tingly feeling, they apparentley healed the wound. She looked at it critically, a hole in the sleeve of her BDUs. "Forget it Space.. I guess. " JL wasn't good with technology and she very very doubtfully took the gem from Eyes since the last time with the puppies. She tried desperatley hard not to think (not difficult for her) so the damn thigns wouldn't turn into anything else. "A vampire huh?" She laughed. "Sounds like somthing out of a book." ... "Can't go home huh? Who gives a damn when I'm out and about seeing the universe with my favourite SG team? (other then my own.)" She did not take the glowing bullets, already kinda annoyed at being given a gem. She waved a hand at Eyes. "Tell me. Now. That's an order. That dracula dude can do what he likes." She waved a hand. "I'm not spilling the beans so tell me where it's hidden. " She paused, her eyes twinkling. "I'm the General!"

What could she say? "I'm sorry I shot you General. I promise I won't again. Well. I mean, I promise I won't try again. Not that I was trying that time." Deciding to quit before she annoyed JL, as well as shot her, she just smiled apologetically at her, and looked at the ground, doing some more of that foot shuffling. Equally suspicious of the shiny rocks being handed out, she took one and put it in her pocket. She thought to herself; last time I heard of vampires I was reading a rather well known novel by Bram Stoker, and laughed quietly to herself. Unsure of who to follow, now that Eyes wasn't stricly in command anymore, she took a few steps closer to JL, and one closer to the stair-well down which her Team Leader had just descended. Space looked at the General, and back to the door. She decided the best course of action would be to follow Eyes, the General would stop her if she wanted to stay.

If doing that anime sweatdrop thing was possible, JL would have done it. As Eyes left she shouted after him. "Thats General JL to you, Captain Eyes!" She thundered down the stairs after him and Space and, now both were out of view, she fished the gem out of her pocket and lobbed it over her shoulder back into the tower. It could damn well stay there, she didn't trust alien tech as far as she could throw it. Sure, it flew quite a long way but that wasn't the point.
