Proverbs is also one of my faves, but it gets repititious if you read it all at once. I also like the prphetical books and the Gospels and am currently reading Acts. Oh, Ruth is cool too, and also 1 Corinthians.

Yes, Ruth is the romantic one. Esther got married to King Xerxes because she was the hottest girl in Persia, not much romance. But it's also a good story.

Beenminish Ruth is a great story...a little to romantic(or was that ester(spelt right?)?) It is romantic, but I like it. Both Esther and Ruth, which I'm reading soon. But it's not just romantic. Both needed a lot of courage and faith to do what they did. (Confront the guy trying to kill your race, leave your homeland with your mother-in-law to a strange, new place, etc..) So it's not just romance. (when I was younger, those were pretty much the only books I really understood fully. The story-parts. Now, I get the meaning, but then, it was just fun to read..)

I'd love to be part of this bible study ^^
Also, I notice many of you are discussing Ruth right now. That's definitely one of my favourite old testament books. The strength of her faith is so inspiring.
