I'm kinda sad Dionne went home - but not at all suprised. Natasha can do no wrong in the judges' eyes.

I hope Natasha doesn't win. I want JASLENE. D< I thought it was kinda funny they all thought Natasha had the least potential. I wonder when the judges see the footage... Do they see it before us? Or whenever the show airs?

 I'll miss Dionne. And even though Natasha had a better portfolio, I don't want her to win, or come close to winning. That was kind of a hard choice, since Natasha's soooo good, but decided to play that 'sick' card. Everyone is so over the 'sick model' routine, and if she's ever watched a season of ANTM, she should have known what would be expected of her. stressed
But I think overall, Dionne was the better choice to send away. She just wasn't getting it, and they'd worked with her too long to have to keep doing it. sweatdrop

Except now that C8 is over, my life feels empty. C9 doesn't start filming until June. It won't air until fall... emo
I wonder if the C9 girls will totally suck....

zomg zzzzzzomgggg!!!!
I mean, okay, yeah, I knew who won already (damn Google for giving me instant results before i could change my mind), but watching it was like whee
and now i own all the episodes, so i just might go ahead and have an ANTM Cycle 8 marathon this weekend!

but i didn't like the runway show very much. it was... dark, and weird. i think the camera angles were good, but i don't think it showed very much of the models very well. i guess you had to be there.
i absolutely LOVED Renee's face when she didn't win. i have to say that even though she still took amazing photos, she was still my least favorite. and, true to her nature, she showed me why when she left - always has something to say... i think that's why she looks old. she's got that bitterness and tension in her, and that will age you just as surely as smoking a pack a day will.
Natasha grew on me, and i think her personality (annoying as it is xD ) will carry her far, and even though she doesn't say much about her personal life, that can be a good thing. nothing wrong with having a little privacy about yourself, you know? separation of work life from home life is something that every professional should have if they can. she better keep modeling; she's great for the industry, even just for the bubbly "Hi, I'm Natasha! 8D" attitude.
Jaslene = heart heart heart heart
i think she'll be the model that brings the ANTM winner status to the next level. she could really take the CoverGirl thing and run with it all the way to supermodel status, and i can't wait to see what she does. i'm glad she took the time to better herself from within after she was sent home (from Cycle 7). she is very quiet now, but she still has that energy and that (sorry Tyra) fierceness that will ultimately work for her along with her newfound maturity and inner calm.
Okay, enough of my editorial. xD just....
YAY!!! FOR JASLENE!!!

I have oodles of new photos on All ANTM of her - all her icky preshow stuff from when she was 16... and her winner's portfolio... a couple shots of her from a newspaper.... go look!
Oh, and last season's final runway was stupidier. Screaming brides, anyone? At least this one was... uh... well, it was still stupid. Just less so. whee

I totally didn't see that part of the episode (I was cleaning), and I'm so glad I didn't. I saw part of it - only a few seconds - and I was very confused. rofl

This show sucks me in. One of those shows I should not like but I can't help but watch it when there's nothing to do. I saw this cycle when they did the marathon and... I wanted Natasha to win, personally (and I do mean from the top 2, as my favorite girl was Renee--she was so beautiful and plain adorable, really). xD But I loved Jaslene's "drag queen" side rofl, lots of fun. x3~~
My favorite contestant ever is Naima though from one of the older cycles. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Totally deserved to win.
