Alex barely concealed a grin at the woman's enthusasim. It reminded her greatly of herself when she had first found the critters. Extending her free hand, she accepted Natsuki's in greeting. "My name is Alexandria, but please call me Alex. And this little tyke is Lorenzo, or Zoe for short."
At the sound of his name, the little Gwee popped an eye open, looking curiously at Alex, then Natsuki. He chittered for a moment, looking back to Alex as if to ask a question.
The Italian woman chuckled, scratching under the little dragon's chin. "He wouldn't mind his picture being taken, he's a ham. He loves to pose when I'm trying to take pictures of other things." She cooed at the green creature. "Come now Zoe, pose like the attention mongrel that you are."
As if he understood, Lorenzo stretched his little wings and zipped out of her arms and around Natsuki, coming to a hovering halt between the two.
"Show off," Alex teased the young dragon with a smile.

Kali wandered around, wondering what she was doing here. It wasn't her usual scene. She'd been about to throw the invitation/notice away when she caught the Lab305 logo at the top. Still, it didn't explain what she was doing here... Maybe she just needed a distraction.
Reading what was on offer at this faire, she snickered a little. Kissing booths? Admittedly, she'd only met one Raevan, but he hadn't seemed open to casual touching, let alone kisses. Though Zavier's name wasn't on the list of kissing booths, so maybe other Raevans had different ideas.
Noticing a dice rolling game, Kali decided to start off with something easy. "I just roll? No entry fee?" she checked with the attendant, before rolling.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Alex," Natsuki smiled, nodding her head politely. "And nice to meet you too, Lorenzo."
She giggled at Zoe perked up and zipped around them. She had intened on taking a picture of him curled up on Alex's lap, but hamming up with the little dragon sounded like a good time. Natsuki pointed to the flowers, a beautfil rainbow of colors.
"Would ya mind, hovering near the flowers?" Natsuki quipped to her little model, with a hint of amusement in her voice. "I'd like to start there."

The Gwee chirruped, looking between Natsuki and the flowers. While the creature didn't fully understand the human language, his species was known to have enough comprehension to interact. Zoe was used to seeing cameras from Alex's use, and the pretty lady pointing and holding a camera could only mean one thing - he was going to star in one of the pictures!
"Likewise, Natsuki," Alex managed to reply before the Gwee took his position. She shook her head with an amused smile as the tiny dragon flew to the flowers, slowing the flutter of his wings so as not to make a flurry of petals. She was going to have a hard time tuning down his ego after the treats and pictures, but he needed the time out. Sure, they got out all the time back home, but this was only the second time Lorenzo had ever interacted with humans outside of herself and her firm.
The small dragon turned his huge, doe-like eyes to the camera. If a Gwee could grin, he was certainly trying.

"You are too much," Natsuki smiled pressing the shutter button a couple of times. Zoe contrasted nicely with the vivid colors of the flowers. Alex was certainly right, the little guy was a comedian. Natsuki complimented her model's fantastic smile and beautiful, wide eyes.
"What part of Gaia do you hail from, Alex?" Natsuki asked, looking over her shoulder at the Italian woman before returning her attention to Zoe. Snapping a few more pictures, she took a hard candy from her purse and popped in it her mouth.
"Would you like a candy?" She asked, offering more to Alex than the little dragon as she wasn't certain what a Gwee actually ate.

"Right now, I live in a house off the Barton Cliffs," Alex answered, not certain if she meant where she was born or simply where she lived. "I'm working with the descendants of Zoe here, as well as documenting his growth." The little dragon was positively preening at the attention he was getting. "The particular ones I'm watching are in hibernation right now, so I'm staying with a friend to 'see the big city lights.'" She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Do you live in this area? It's awfully nice."
Zoe flipped his tail, almost wagging it when he spied the candy that the woman offered. Alex lackidasically reached out just in time to snag the dragon from mid-dart to Natsuki's hand. "I would love a piece of candy, thank you," she said nonchalantly, as if she hadn't just stopped the squirming ball of green from snatching a sweet for himself. Lorenzo chittered in a sulking manner, turning his big eyes on Natsuki.
"Don't beg," Alex touched the dragon's nose lightly. "We have all night here, don't fill up so quickly."

"Oh the Barton Cliffs are beautiful. Moreso in the spring when the temperature warms up a bit," Natsuki smiled, keeping a sharp eye on Zoe. "I'm actually from this area, though I live and work over in Durem."
Natsuki took a pair of candies from her bag. One candy was orange while the other was raspberry. She snagged a snapshop of Zoe begging because it was simply too cute to pass up. Holding her hand out to the pair, she offered up the candy.
"Your research sounds rather interesting," Natsuki continued, thinking about how she wasn't applying a single thing she learned in university in her current occupation. "How long have you been working with them?"

The receptionist gave a small sigh, standing up from where she'd been kneeling down behind her booth, her shoelace had come undone and so she'd ducked down to retie it.
There was a dull thud as her head hit the underside of the booth, followed by a small cry as she stood up straight, one hand holding a clump of hair, her expression pained.

Alex nodded her agreement about the season; it was one of the more beautiful places she'd been, to see a sunrise over the cliffs in the Spring. She pet Lorenzo's head thoughtfully as he sulked, "Durem? I stayed there for a little while, doing some local work. Very busy place."
Her attention turned to the suddenly still form of the dragon in her arms as the candy was offered. Unbidden, a huge grin came over Alex's face. He was so spoiled, simply because she doted on him like a child. She couldn't resist his soulful eyes. "Thank you," Alex accepted the candy. She used her teeth to unwrap the raspberry candy, dropping the piece into her palm before extending her arm. Her fist closed, she released the Gwee.
"I've been working with the cliff-dwelling Gwee for a little under a year," Alex recalled as Zoe immediately shot up to her shoulders, his huge eyes on her closed fist. "Zoe here I found while working in Durem, actually. There's another Gwee that lives up by my place, but she's wild, so she's not quite as friendly as Zoe." Even though they were talking about him, Zoe's attention was all for Alex's closed, scarred hand. He started to creep down her arm, using his claws carefully on her jacket sleeve.
Talking about the other Gwee made Alex hope that she was okay. She knew the ornery dragon would be, but she still worried about the little girl. "What do you do in Durem?" she asked Natsuki. "Are you--"
Alex didn't get out the rest of her question, startled by the sudden cry next to herself and Natsuki. Even Zoe stopped his act, taking a moment to fly over to the booth in question. "Er, are you okay, ma'am?" she asked the pink-haired lady, a little surprised at her sudden appearance.

"Hey Alex, it looks like one of the girls I know has debuted at the kissing booth," Natsuki grinned, seeing a flash of pink behind Chloe's booth. "I run a maid cafe in Durem. It's not the most glamourous job, but its steady income."
It had been a while since she had met up with the lab's reception. Last time they chatted, they enjoyed a lovely dessert. She was surprised to see her shy and patient friend with Kissing Booth duty. Natsuki that the guys would be lining up around the building to take a chance with her pink haired friend.
Without warning, Chloe appeared to bang her head on the booth.

"Are you okay?" Kali asked, wincing a little at the loud noise. That had to have hurt. "Do you want to put ice on that, or something? I have, uh..."
Kali had the or something. Having stopped by the food stalls before rolling the dice, she had both an unwrapped and a wrapped popsicle. Tentatively, she proffered the wrapped one.
The unwrapped one got another suck as rivulets of sticky liquid threatened to spill onto her hand.

Chloe gave a small start as she was spoken to, looking up with wide eyes. "A-Ah... y-yes.. thank you." She bowed her head, face flushing slightly in embarassment.
She looked up from beneath her vivid panks, her hair a stark contrast to her personality. With another, smaller start she smiled, raising a hand half way to give a small wave to a familiar face. "O-Oh.. Hello, Natsuki. A-Are you e-e-enjoying the.. the event?"
She looked at the offered popsicle, giving a small shake of her head. "A-Ah no thank you." Another polite bow, small and formal.

"Ice, that's a good idea," Alex commented the third woman. She started to leave, but when the woman insisted she was okay, she stayed.
Zoe zigged and zagged around the pink-haired lady, possibly mistaking her hair for another sweet. He chirped and chattered at her, landing on the booth and looking up at the woman's face. As sincerely as he could, he mustered a faint, "Arut?"
Alex was secretly surprised that Lorenzo had momentarily forgotten about the candy. Usually, he was quite obsessive about sweets, although he had been taking quite an interest in the female populace.

"Mmmf mph umm?" Another voice, though muffled, joined in on the questions. This time it came from a lump of colors that was standing close by. This lump did have a human form, but the large jacket, boots, gloves, hat, and snow pants distorted it's image.
The little thing toddled over to them, the heavy garments weighing them down. As it wobbled about, the creature was trying to undo the bindings of a yarn scarf around it's neck, atleast to get it away from it's mouth.
With a sigh of relief, the soft snake released the being's mouth. The gloved hands then reached up to fix it's hat. Once those obstacles had been crossed, the rosey face of a boy of eight years old looked up at Chloe. The little boy was trying his hardest to calm his giggles, but his blunt words escaped his fidgety mouth in the process,"You're clumsy! So funny you are!" He told her, his words quick and jumbled.

"That's certainly a creative way to ice a bruise," Natsuki said in surprise as another woman procured popciles from thin air! "Perhaps Roux would like the popsicle, Chloe? No need to put it to waste, right?"
Natsuki always loved meeting people and seeing her friends, so talking with Chloe and so many new people was quite enjoyable. A nice change from the script melodrama she participates in daily.
"I've been having a tough time with the dice pan," she said giggling, and pushing some copper hair from her eyes. "But I tested out the Kissing Booth earlier when I got here. I was surprised to see the names listed." Taking a glance at Roux's booth, she saw the "OR DIE" scrawled across it. "Is Roux around? I'm not up for dying today," she said with a wink.
