The smaller of the two men eyed Xanthos carefully before he too sent out his first Pokemon - one that Kasiya had seen a picture of in books before. It was over seven and a half feet tall with blue, scaly skin, razor-sharp claws and teeth alike. It stood upright on its hind legs, its powerful tail thrashing back and forth.
"Feraligatr," Kasiya sighed, looking from Xanthos to the Golduck and then back at the Big Jaw Pokemon once more. Every ounce of her intellect was screaming at her to send out Flash and end this right quickly, but she stopped herself, instead looking to the water just as Mike had a few seconds ago. My Water-type Pokemon is better than all three of yours, she thought, smiling devilishly. "Let's go, Ariel! The boys want to play." Moments later, Ariel leaped from the water so elegantly that she didn't even cause the surface of the water to ripple at all as she landed on the wooden planks gracefully. Her diamond-like eyes shimmered brightly as she took in the scene, and waited to begin. "I would have felt left out, being the only one not using a Water Pokemon," Kasiya said, her voice rife with fake innocence.

"That will do," Keegan shrugged. Helios closed his eyes, bracing himself for the attack, but it never came as he was recalled before it could hit him. The electricity dissipated into the floor harmlessly. He saw no need for Helios to continue, the poor Vulpix could barely stand as it is. The redhead deftly swapped Poke Balls, still watching the Manectric closely, replaying its last move in his mind. The way it moves, it reminds me of Themis, he thought, tapping his gloved fingers against his hip thoughtfully. Could this be the evolved form of Electrike?
He pondered the possibility over in his mind as he released his next challenger, none other than the prankster, Loki. The Arbok reared up, looming dangerously above the Manectric as he flared his hooded body, the markings on his underbelly adding a nice effect as his Intimidate ability went to work. "Stop it in its tracks," the boy said, his eyes narrowed, yet not really fixed on anything. In fact, he hadn't even noticed that Dante had left the gym. Loki hissed viciously, casting a deadly Glare at the Manectric.

The first thing they saw upon exiting was Bahamut and Meowth still fighting. Rolling his eyes Dante reached into his bag and pulled out Bahamuts pokeball and recalled her. Not being held up anymore Meowth feel to the ground. Grumbling the cat pokemon glared at Dante for a moment before jumping up onto his shoulder. " Well now that your crazy dragon is put away what are we going to do now?" Meowth asked.
"We are going to go look for a battle. We need to do more training, I am seriosly getting behind. Besides, we will need it for when I go looking for Zapdos." Dante said nonchallantly.
"Eh! Your were really serious about that? Really you shouldn't go looking for legendary pokemon. They dont take to kindly to others believe me." Meowth said somewhat suprised that Dante was actually serious about this.
"Well I am. I said I would become the legendary pokemon professor and I ment it." Dante said while looking around. "Now I think there are some trainers over here." Dante said walking off down one of the paths to his side. He was right, dispite it not being a very big path he did see a lot of trainers around here. Grinning he went up to one wearing an orange jacket. "Hey are you a pokemon trainer?"
The guy, who appeared to be around Dante's age looked over at him. "Yeah I am. You appear to be a pokemon trainer yourself. Do you want to battle?"
"That was just what I was going to ask. Is a six on six battle ok?" Dante asked hoping that it wouldn't come to the fact that he would have to use Levi.
"Sounds good to me." The other trainer said. "All right lets start things off Lairon!" The trainer shouted as he tossed out a pokeball to reveal the steel type pokemon.
"All right then." Dante said taking out the pokeball he had recently transfered back to his team. "Lets go Shiva!" The seal pokemon came out of his pokeball with a loud bark. It had been a while since she had battled and she was ready to go.

"Can't say I don't blame ya! There's a slight problem in your theory!" he called back, "I'm not going to die!" He turned the corner, disappearing from her.
When the Pokemon center was out of sight, and he was near the Gym, he paused for a moment, scratching his chin. "Alright, alright..." he whispered. Maybe I was too harsh on her. But she's got to realize that Maorde's not in this for Nina's best interest. He's threatened by Giovanni. THAT'S why Maorde's doing this. He unzipped his backpack and pulled out his new HM, along with sending out his Lombre. The Pokemon looked at him, his bill twitching. Couldn't he get some shut eye? "Here," Kilik said, placing the HM in the center of the leaf. He closed his eyes and felt a rush of information in his mind. Images of crashing waves on a beach appeared on the back of his eyelids. Suddenly, the image faded. Surf had been learned. "And sleeping isn't an option now," he explained, "We've got a Gym Battle."

He took a step back. "Oh, Mother of the Scotts!" he laughed, placing a hand over his heart. "For a mo'ent there, even I was afraid of that ol' Arbook."
Manectric grimaced and felt his legs become plastered to the floor. He couldn't move. The Pokemon looked at the ground then up at the face painted on Arbok's chest. He growled and began to crackle with electricity.
"Well, tha's too bad! I'll just have'ta hit you in a fixed position! Shock Wave, Manectric!" With another howl, he fired three more bolts of electricity.
Yes, 'Arbook' was intentional.

"So, where exactly are we going?" Nina asked, looking down at the ground as the Salamence flew gracefully about. "Well, I'm not aware if you've heard," Maorde replied, looking over his shoulder toward the girl, "but Team Rocket has overtaken the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City. I want you to go in there and squeeze as much information out of the Rockets as you possibly can. Don't bother with the Grunts; they're just Giovanni's little minions who more than likely have never made contact with the man himself. No, go after the Admins instead-- they interact with Giovanni regularly, and it is likely that they will possess some information about him. Get anything you can-- strengths, weaknesses, tactics; any information you find out will be more than we know now."
Nina nodded as the Salamence landed, and she dismounted it. "But, wait," she said. "How do you expect me to get this information from them? It's not easy to read everyone's mind all the time." Maorde grinned. "Nina, please. These Rockets are humans... Do whatever you must. I'm sure you'll think of something. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be off... I have pressing matters to attend to elsewhere." The man nodded towards the girl, and took off into the sky.
"Don't you dare walk away from me!" Whitney screamed lividly, dashing after Kilik. She was shaking from anger, and it was hard for her to run in a straight line. She lost track of Kilik for a time, and looked around frantically for him. That son of a Snubbull, she thought, if I catch up to him...

"A Sealo huh? Well lets show that pokemon who's boss Lairon, use your Metal Claw attack!" The other trainer shouted. The steel type pokemon roared before rushing over to the seal and lifting one of his huge claws brought it down hard on Shiva.
Feeling the claws on her Shiva let out a sharp cry. "Hang in there Shiva! Retaliate with your Surf attack!" Dante commanded. Truth be told he didn't know a lot about this pokemon. While he did know what it was, and could guess at the type, he honestly wasn't sure what all of its moves were, or even what it was like. Hearing her comand Shiva pulled herself together and her eyes glowing let loose a Surf attack that smashed forward and made to smash down on the steel type.
"Lairon hurry and use your Protect!" The trainer shouted. Just as the wave was going to crash down on the steel pokemon it glowed slightly as the Protect activated making any damage that the attack would have done null and void.
Seeing this Dante cursed slightly. That was until an idea came to him. "I never thought this move would ever prove useful but I guess I am about to prove myself wrong. Shiva use Encore!" He commanded. Shiva just barked happily before lifting herself up a bit and started clapping her flippers together loudly in an Encore.
Upon hearing this the Lairon practically glowed with pride. Wanting to show off some more he activated Protect again. "No Lairon! Don’t use Protect when you don’t need to!" The other shouted.
"Heh, Shiva use Aurora Beam." Dante ordered knowing that it wouldn't do any damage anyway seeing as the protect was up. Obeying her trainer Shiva opened her mouth and fired the arctic blast at the other pokemon. Like Dante had predicted it didn't do any damage thanks to Protect.

Feeling the Protect fall again after the attack the Lairon, ignoring his trainers ordered tried to bring up another one. However each time Protect was brought up sucessivly there was less and less chance of it working. "Thats just what I was waiting for." Dante said with a smirk. "All right Shiva lets use Earthquake!" Dante ordered always glad to use his favorite attack. Shiva somehow managed to jump up into the air, curling herself up into a ball she smashed into the ground causing it to shake and crack in places in the powerful Earthquake attack. While Dante did use this attack it was only because it was his favorite move. What he didn't know was that Lairon had a four times weakness to the powerful ground move.
Upon getting hit the Lairon gave a cry and fell to the ground. "Come on Lairon get up!" The boy said worriedly. It would not look good if his first pokemon got taken out this easily. The steel pokemon managed to push himself to his feet and not waiting for his trainer to attack he charged as fast as he could a Shiva in a Take Down attack. Shiva not really having a chance to respond to this gave out a cry and fell back as she was hit with the powerful attack. The Lairon all his energy used up and after getting hit with the recoil fainted upon impact. Frowning the other trainer recalled the steel type pokemon. "Your a better trainer then you look." He grumbled looking at the boy across from him with Meowth on his shoulder and the black and white Ponyta standing next to him.

After a few moments of searching Mag had finally located the Mart. He went inside. The man behind the counter nodded in a recognition and Mag returned the gesture. Going into browser mode he scanned over all the items that were availabe. He noted that he only had 1 pokeball left, deciding to get more after his gym battle (and hopeful vicotry) he moved over to the TM rack.

((Just to let you know all these pokemon in this battle are being randomly generated so yeah....))"All right you wont take down this next pokemon so easily! Lets go Marowak!" He shouted as he tossed out his pokeball to reveal a brown pokemon with a skull on its head and a hard looking bone in its hand. The tough looking pokemon pointed its bone at Shiva before rushing at her and raising the club high over her head she smashed it down on Shiva's head in a powerful Bone Club attack before jumping away.
Shiva had been taken by suprise at the attack and flinched upon feeling it crack down on her skull. The Marowak wasted no time in then tossing her club out in a strong Bonemerang attack. It managed to hit Shiva once again before coming back and was tossed agian hitting the seal again effectively knocking her out. Frowning a bit Dante recalled his fainted pokemon. "Your not so bad yourself. I just happen to be better. Lets show this trainer whats what Bahamut." Dante said with a smirk as he tossed out the pokeball to reveal the Vibravra. Upon being released the dragon pokemon did a little loop-de-loop.

The Marowak glared at the dragon pokemon who was hovering above her. Lifting her bone up again she tossed it at the dragon. Seeing the bone soaring towards her Bahamut nimbly dodged it and dived down towards the ground pulling herself up at the last moment before charging at the ground type pokemon and clamping her teeth down on the Marowaks arm in a Crunch attack. The other pokemon gave a small cry of pain before she stopped her self. Catching sight of something in the air the Marowak saw that its bone was coming back to her. Smirking slightly the pokemon lifted up the arm that Bahamut was clamped onto. The bone that was sailing back hit the dragon pokemon hard on the head.
Feeling it connect with the back of her head Bahamut gave a sharp cry and let go of the Marowaks arm and flew a few paces away. Glaring at her opponent Bahamut didn't wait for Dante's command and activated her new TM. Green lines shot out of Bahamuts body and connected with the Marowak draining health from her and transferring it back to the Vibravra.
Not going to let that stand the Marowak dashed towards Bahamut and jumped onto its back. Startled Bahamut started flapping her wings fast and flying all around in weird angles and in a sharp manor. Despite all this the Marowak held on stubbornly.

Mike never felt a battle where he was more out of his element. So much water... He thought, practically feeling steam rising from his body. If this kept up, he wouldn't be able to give Felsic the last little push he needed to evolve. "Xanthos," The boy began, eager to get this battle started. "let's begin with a Vicegrip!"
The rather large crab Pokemon brought his claw down on the Golduck, clamping on tight. It refused to yield to the Crawduant's assault, its eyes shining a light teal hue. Xanthos began to feel his movements restricted, his memory regarding Vicegrip had been yanked from his mind, it had been Disabled. He withdrew his pincers, scuttling back to his spot in front of Mike.
The boy eyed the Fisherman closely, he seemed to be in complete control of the situation, not batting an eyelash at Xanthos' attack. Mike looked down at Felsic, who had his eyes fixed on the Dark Pokemon.

While the Marowak held on it carefully shifted so that it could raise the club high above its head and smash it down on the back of Bahamuts skull. The dragon pokemon gave a cry before falling into unconsciousness. While the attack didn't do that much damage getting hit on the back of the head tended to knock one out. Unfortunately they were fairly far from the ground at that point and when the dragon fell unconscious the two pokemon started to hurtle towards the ground. Not having the time to jump off of the other pokemon the Marowak ended up slamming into the ground as well.
While Bahamut didn't get up because of the hit to her head earlier the Marowak pushed itself up and stood there panting but still ready for more. Growling slightly Dante recalled Bahamut and motioned for Apollo to go out. Ready to attack the fire pony walked out looking determined to end this battle. "Apollo use your Quick Attack!" Dante said hoping that Apollo would be able to take out a few of the other trainers pokemon. Not waiting for the other pokemon to recovered Apollo dashed into the Quick Attack his diamond hard hooves striking the Marowak hard sending it back. This time the ground type didn't get up.
Seeing this Apollo lifted his head up high and trotted back over to where Dante was standing.

"Well it looks like there are only three pokemon left on both sides. That will change though because the pokemon I choose is Gyarados!" The trainer called out with a smirk. The large water pokemon appeared with a loud roar and a glare towards Apollo which caused him to glow slightly at his attack was lowered due to the Gyarados's Intimidate ability.
Seeing the pokemon Dante shuddered slightly, he had never liked overly huge pokemon and this one was scary to boot. Gritting his teeth Dante thought about recalling Apollo and sending Meowth in instead. However his decision was cut short as Apollo gave him a look and trotted out again, the fire pony wanted to do this. "All right then Apollo. Lets use your new attack Sunny Day!" Apollo nodded and opening his mouth he shot a huge fireball up into the sky causing the heat to rise tremendosly in there little area.
"So you made it hotter. Gyarados show them your Hydropump!" The large pokemon roared and suddenly shot a huge burst of water out of its mouth. Even with the sunny day in effect the water was emense. Luckily for them Apollo was very fast and the attack was pretty inaccurate. The fire pony used Quick Attack to escape and landed a fast strike on the water pokemon before dashing away.

As Eraku walked along the beach looking out at the sunset on the horizon. He thought about everything he was about to leave the next day behind. His past, his home. A new start he thought. He looked up towards the sky and thought " I'll make you guys proud." Eraku went back to his house and took one last look at his bag making sure he didn't miss anything. Then looking at his Pidgey he said " You ready buddy?" Hurricane chirpped happily in agreement. " Good tomorrow is going to be a long day."
