"Tis the tragedy of a conflict such as this, we are forced to make hard decisions and many of us have to become dead inside or lose the ability to trust others so that the hard decisions and choices and actions can be made. Innocents can be hurt, but what it all boils down to is what are you risking and what does your instincts tell you. Mine tell me not to trust this boy, but then again, mine tell me never to trust anyone." Kusari had put away his needles having abandoned the possibility of tortureing this one when they had headed for AMadeus office, he knew that that was not how things would end. He kept a tight grip on his chain so as not to risk losing the prisoner and he started to get the feeling that he was something like an executioner and Zenjin the guilotine." Your honesty and revealing anything you might be holding back would be beneficial to come forwards with now.... I have had someone root through my own mind before, i tel you it is much less painfull to admit things first rather than fight the useless fight you are outmatched here."

"You with the chain, your very late in the conversation. I never fought back because I knew I was out numbered. And I didn't run when I was discovered. I ran when that old man began to tighten his grip around my throat. As for telling you the truth, I have told you everything truthfully. I'd be willing to be injected with a truth serum to prove this. (a sedative)" Wrath replied. "And I am not here to aid. I came to get information on the masters. As I told you before. If you want aid then you, Ms.Michiyo, will have to speak with my country's kage. You also promised me that my comrades and I wouldn't be harmed. I guess at this point I can only hope that you will honor your word." He added quickly after his first statement. Michiyo seemed like a sweet girl and so far she had been kind to Wrath. She claimed she was the kage of this village however she wasn't taking charge of the interrogation. Perhaps this was a symbol of a weak government in this village.

[what did zenjin transform into? Also, did amadeus leave yet?]

[Zenjin didn't transform into anything. He used it so he could speak. Being that Zenjin can only communicate to those he has formed Telepathic links with, it would be impossible for him to "talk" unless a jutsu was used. As for Amadeus, they never posted a leave, but it's supposed to be believed that they are heading to the gate right now. If they don't post a "Leaves" by the 21st, just assume that they left. ]

Nakamura glared at Kusari through honest eyes. "If I had that mentality, do you think you'd still be here right now? Imagine, if back in Yukigakure, that I led the village to attack neighboring villages simply because I didn't trust them. Don't tell me you've forgotten the incidents that the Kazekage had dawned upon me. If I retaliated and never trusted anyone, I don't think I would have been a very usefull Aisukage." she said rather boldly. "Besides, I don't think he intended to steal anything. He probably didn't think we'd willingly give out information about the Masters. After all, if he wants to aid in their destruction, another set of allies would only help the situation. The Rain Village isn't under control from the Masters, so why wouldn't they want information on them. It's not like we're hiding ourselves from them." Nakamura added, her eyes moving towards Wrath.

"I know what I promised, and I'm one who keeps my word." she spoke softly, her footsteps drawing close to the two ice blocks. With her right hand, she placed the palm of it on the girl's block and repeated the process with her left hand for the cat. Release! she commanded in her mind, the ice blocks seeming to suck inside of her hands. With each passing second, layers of the ice block seemed to melt away untill all that was left of the ice, were a pair of ice bracelets and ice wristlets to keep them from using any jutsu or running away.

"Seeing as how nothing of value really seems to out of place, I don't see the harm in just letting you guys go. Just remember, that if you come back here, to simply ASK for what you're looking for."she gave a small smile, showing that she intended to let them just walk away from the village.

"There's just one thing. I know you and your comrades are probably distressed from the past events. You and your comrades can stay in the village untill you recover." she concluded, her hands lifting off of the girl and the cat when the last of the ice had dissipated. With a look to Kusari, she gave a nod, silently telling him to remove the bonds.

"I'll escort you three to the Bathhouses and then to the Inn. I incist that you stay in the village at least for the night. I won't accept No for an answer." she said with a combined smile/wink. She didn't sense any malice from any of the shinobi, so it must have been as he had said. They were simply there to gather information. "If you're ready, I'll take you there now. Kusari, the cat... I'm having second thoughts about. You can take it to the inn directly." she was finally finished speaking. Instead of walking away, she moved closer to Wrath. She brought herself down just enough to take hold of his left arm in order to help him hoist himself up. Hmmm... now I know what scent Saya was talking about. she thought with a rather amused smile spreading across her lips. The bath houses will be a good place for you to regain your strength. The main question is, will you accept my offer of aid? she questioned it in her mind, even with her hands upon his left arm.

[Not rolling for grapple simply because she's not attacking, though, I'll roll if you request it of me.]

Kusari pulled the chain in a single but precisely measured pull and the bonds came clanging and clattering down as he then drew it back and coiled the chain in what seemed like a single fluid motion. His Kusarigama was like an extension of his own body, the chain of the weapon having been with him for over half his life and deeply rooted in his personal history.

Kusari was reluctant to let the boy go but had shown no hesitence in obeying. There was a reason people of two different villages had chosen HER to be thier leader and only a small band of outcasts or tortured children had ever joined with Kusari. It was even harder to hear she would be sheltering ones who had attacked them so recently but he showed nothing that would give these thoughts and feelings away. Kusari was then given a new task, he did not like it but she had asked it of him and so he would do so.

He was denoted to the task o f escorting this feline to the inn. He glared over to the animal and beckoned for it to come along his chain rattling enough to let them know that if they did not comply swiftly and precisely he would be dragging them as a prisoner. Kusari planned to wait standing guard at the inn until Nakamura would arrive with the boy. That way he would be certian of the intruders whereabouts. "Come along" he growled.

Wrath wrapped an arm around Michiyo's and accepted her aid. "Thank you Ms.Michiyo, you are too kind." He replied with a smile across his face. This girl definitely had a kind heart and Wrath was thankful for it. He sensed that if she wasn't around that perhaps he would have had a lot more trouble than he did while she was here. "Would you join me for tea?" Wrath sincerely requested. Although in the back of his mind he wondered if this was just a ruse to make him lower his guard. Hopefully not.

While Nakamura left with Wrath upon her arms he merely stared at them with his glowing golden eyes. "Don't bother. Leave the cat here. Go after them. Make sure she's alright. I sense that the party is venturing towards the gate, so I'll be leaving as well." Zenjin spoke solemnly to Kusari. While he was away, he was to look after Nakamura, even if she didn't want or need it.

Zenjin knew she was a smart girl, so there must have been some hidden method to her wishes. After all, he taught her, that there was no greater weapon than turning your enemy into an ally.

"If she has any problems with you being there, let me handle her." Zenjin said before channeling his chakra. Flaming rifts rivetted away from his body before he burst out of the office with such a speed, that there was a risidual wind that blew around the office for several seconds after he had dissappeared from site.

Hikaru had to hold Kaoru's hand a bit tighter than normal to keep him in his spot. There was nothing that he could help with, nor that his brother could help with. He sighed and looked at the audience in the area. Nothing but two new people to the group. When Nakamura offered to take the man and other two to the bath house, Kaoru's attention was caught. Perhaps he should have a drop in on the bath house as well. Hikaru had been by there before with Hiro if he was correct. He sighed and looked over at Hikaru. His red headed brother nodded and started to walk off towards the bath houses a ways behind Wrath and Nakamura. Stalkishly following them would just be weird. Hikaru started humming to himself a loving little tune for Hiro as he almosted skipped while walking. He'd be thinking of his lover quite a lot at the bath houses. Since...that was were they first touched. Well, accidently, but still touched. His face got a bit red but Kaoru was much too focused on the pair in front of him than anything. Seeing the two of them was a little frustrating on his part. In any case, it got him to make a low growling sound from deep in his throat only Hikaru could hear. It got a little giggle out of him but nothing else as they stayed behind the pair in front of him.

Kusari was extreemly greatfull to the wolf for having been given the assignment he really wanted and had no problems relinquishing his current duties to follow after that being he did not trust and watch over Nakamura from afar he wanted to know what she was up to for surely she would not fall for such a ruse....

Tai wriggled free of the finally melted ice block. She rubbed her arms to try and warm herself, then looked at Enjo who was also in the same predicament she was once in. She drew her sword and smashed the remaining ice and Enjo stood up feebly. They were both freezing. She slowly climbed onto Enjo's back and sighed, "What a stupid mission". She remembered when she saw Wrath walking with the other Taki people. She was wondering why he didn't help. What a comrade. She tapped at Enjo and he bolted out of Taki, and back towards Ame.

((Enters from year-long absence))

An eery mist began to seep out from Amadeus' office as a clear sign that someone was within. Cobwebs and dust had gathered from the year-long absence of the village. With nobody to look after the village, it seemed to be in shambles to the naked eye... but that wasn't the case. The illusions placed over the village dissipated after their creator had returned and was finishing her rounds within her mentors office. It's been so long, and I haven't recieved the slightest bit of information on your where-abouts. I know you're alive, I just don't know where. Have you been captured by the enemy? Amadeus...

Nakamura's eyes scanned his office for any possible clues he may have left her. It was possible that he came back to this village while she was out looking for him. Perhaps he left her a secret message in the Shrine? No, he wouldn't go there.

Her head shook from side to side; the long ponytail that drapped down past her knees; brushed past a table. Her footsteps drifted over the floorboards when her eyes caught a strange discoloration upon one of his shelves. Upon further examination of the shelf, Nakamura realised that it was a message to her... but what could it mean?

"Amadeus... what are you trying to tell me?"

Her face inched towards the shelf until her nose was almost touching it. A tiny symbol was within view. A spiral... a triangle? No... it was the very symbol of the Leaf Village.

Nakamura let out a small gasp, being taken off guard by her sudden discovery. "How could I have missed this?" she whispered, tracing the symbol with her right hand. It was clear, she would need to go to the Leaf Village. His trail had not gone cold, but now she knew where to look.

Once she regained herself, wrapping her mind around the possibility that Amadeus may still be in the Leaf Village, she moved around to his closet and pulled out a cloak. It covered most of her body and had a hood to cover her face. It's color was that of a silky black and when she took hold of it from within, all that remained visible upon her were a few inches of her hair and some of her legs. This will have to do. If the rumours are true about the Leaf... then it's best not to attract attention to myself.

Taking a few steps towards the office door, Nakamura looked over her shoulder, taking it all in. "I haven't given up... on either of you. she whispered, taking the hood of the cloak and pulling it up and over her head, she left the office. Nakamura walked into the mist, and as her form seemed to be devoured by the mist, it recceded, leaving nothing behind but the office... completely untouched.
