Kibo: Not to mention the diseases the animal had when it died.

"Diseases?"
Zia and Maida looked at each other, confused.
"Since when do the cousins get sick?" "I don't know. I didn't think they got sick. Blood and all." "That's what I thought, too."

Kibo turns around, growing tired of their riddles and inside information.
Kibo: Whatever. I'll be belowdecks, sleeping. Unless someone on the crew is dying; and let me emphasis dying, not dead, don't wake me.

Zia and Maida followed him.
"What's wrong with being dead?" "Aren't you a necromancer?" "What would a master of death be able to do for someone who's dying?" "You'd need to wait a little longer for them to move onto the next wheel, before you could really do anything, right?"

Kibo: Because I'm tired, and don't feel like raising anyone from the dead right now.

"But once you've slept a little, you won't be tired," "And then you can raise them." "Unless, you don't want to sleep." "You just want to play with us, right?" "Just to talk, right?"
Zia and Maida stuck out their lower lips in a puppy pout.

Kibo: I try to sleep...
He walks up to the girls, with a sinister look on his face.
Kibo: ...but some loquacious people always keep me from it.
He smiles, and pats their heads.
Kibo: Now if you'll excuse me...
He turns, and disappears belowdecks before they can say a word.

Zia and Maida looked at one another, giggled and ran after Kibo and followed him into his cabin.
"You use funny words." "And big too." "Why would a pirate need such a large vocabulary that it would need loquacious?"
Maida's voice sounded like an old college professor’s when she said loquacious.

Kibo: I don't think I'd be able to pass off as a gentleman nor an Admiral if my vocabulary was so limited as to not include at least a few intelligent-sounding words. Now good bye.
He steps into his cabin, and shuts the door.

Zia was sitting cross legged on Kibo's bed.
"So did you go to school," "Or teach yourself?"
Maida next to her friend and rested her head on Zia's shoulder.

Kibo rubs his temples.
Kibo: Please. I'm tired, and all I want is some sleep. Just please, leave me alone for a while.

Zia and Miada shruged.
"All you had to do was ask." "Yesyes, that's all." "We won't say another word." "You won't know we're even here."
Maida pearched on top Kibo's dresser and rested her head on her knees. Zia sat infront of the closed door, watching Kibo.

Kibo sighs, savoring the silence.
Kibo: Finally.
He walks to his bed, and, out of years of habit, snaps his fingers. A spirit appears, and immediately looks at Kibo, nods, and takes his stance near the door. Kibo lays down on the bed, and almost immediately falls asleep.
