Midori Miramoto sign me up!!! blaugh ya know, in a couple of narusaku fics sakura bashed hinata's love for naruto, i thought that was totally messed up... Hey! scream ......That's so mean... crying But, last time I went to fanfction.net, I found nearly no NaruHina fics. neutral So I guess that's understandable... understandable, but not right. mad Hinata''s love for Naruto is hard to bash though. xd You can't do it without twisting a lot of words around, which then puts ya in a bad position. blaugh

On the note of Hinata bashing, some people just hate the character that much.
And others are just immature n00bs who probably don't even know the meaning of the phrase 'bashing a character'.
The best thing we can do is correct them. Politely of course... -hides bazooka-

How in the world can someone bash Hinata???!!! Hinata hasn't done anything to hurt anyone! I so agree with Chibi_Naru-chan, it is like kicking a puppy!

Just dropping by. XD And so not to spam up this thread, I contribute to the conversation! Despite that it was held at the beginning of the month. *shot*
To be honest, I don't see THAT much Hinata/NaruHina bashing in fanfiction. What I do see is a lot of teasing Hinata about her major crush on Naruto. Sometimes it's hilarious, and sometimes I find people take it too far. I can understand people making fun of characters in a nice, joking manner, and I understand that some people just don't like Hinata, Naruto, or NaruHina. But as long as they're not cruel and immature about it, it's a-okay. <3

I actually haven't come across too much Hina-bashing myself (thank goodness, I don't know how I'm managing to avoid it, I've read just about everything else). But there are some very immature people out there who bash just for the heck of it.
This is why I hate bashing topics, threads, etc. Why waste your time proclaiming your hatred for something when you could have a much better time talking about something you like? All it does is make everyone angry, makes everyone fight and it sucks.

That way, you don't get any tension." Or something like that. ^_^

I don't see much Hinata bashing in fanfics (probably because I don't read many fanfics nowadays..). But I do see alot of Hinata bashing outside of fanfiction. stare Now, I know that people have their own opinions, but it just pisses me off to no end sometimes.
There are many people that say "Oh, she's too shy and she's not very talkative or outgoing. That's why I hate her." or "Her crush on Naruto pisses me off." or "She's an effing STALKER!" The second one I can understand (I guess), but the other two are the ones that set me off.
The first one....well, god, excuse her for her personality. It's not her fault that she's shy. >> I, myself, am a very shy person, so it becomes a indirect, personal insult to me. ><
The third one....okay, she is not a stalker. People who call her that probably don't even know what the word means. A stalker, by definition, is a person who who pursues another person constantly in a threatening, offensive, sinister manner. Yes, Hinata follows him, but not in a threatening manner. She merely watches him because she admires his strength. It's not offensive or threatening to Naruto at all, if you ask me.
Phew...wow....I kinda unintentionally turned a simple reply into a rant. Oo I'm sorry! gonk

As for those reasons why people hate Hinata, I'd just like to scream, "WTF? scream "
I'm shy too, so if anyone is insulting a shy person, I go right into angry-girl mode. xd No, serisouly, I do. If you insult Hinata because of her shyness, that's to me just downright wrong. You'd hate Neji (the old Neji) because he thinks he's better than everyone else. And then you'd hate Hinata because she keeps her mouth shut? It's like insulting her for not insulting people. eek I mean like, wow.
For the crush part, you can say it in a more.... polite manner. stare As for the third one too.
