It looks like this thread is being a little neglected. How sad.
So to cheer me up, I'm writing another poem:
Point Five Seconds
If the whole world feels happiness
for just a moment -
the moment wherein
all the hearts of people
are filled with pure joy
then I would be thankful,
because your heart and mine are connected.
If at one time, a single instant,
all at once,
all glance at the
same sky,
I will be happy,
because though
we are apart,
our souls are reaching out for each other.
If in a single glimpse in time,
all breathe in, inhale
one another's breath,
I can cry in happiness,
because if I cannot
hold your hand,
I can feel your life's breath in me.
If I ever knew
that it only took a minute,
a second,
a fleeting point in a second-
to be connected to you
than I wouldn't be crying here right now.
So very abstract, and a bit general than SasuSaku-ish, but I always loved the idea of "the entire world feeling happiness in a fleeting moment."

I wrote one from Sasuke's POV...it kinda sucks and I wrote it in about a minute but this thread was dead and I was just trying to help revive it...

Holding me Back
I always thought when you held me
You were destroying my goal,
Killing my vengence,
Breaking my hatred.
So I wouldn't let you hold me.
And when you said you loved me
Your words were fake,
You lied like a fangirl,
You didn't really care.
So I wouldn't let you love me.
And when you tried to stop me
You were holding me back,
Being annoying,
Not understanding.
So I left anyway.
But, now I realize
You were helping my goal,
Loving my vengence,
Understanding my hatred.
And just because you held me,
doesn't mean you held me back.

So...this song poem is from Karin's POV...it's SasuSaku though...at least it's supposed to be...I didn't really use names so I guess you could use it for any couple...
FALLING
I think I'm gonna fall
Think I'm gonna hit the ground
Will you even hold your breath
as I lie here and bleed?
I think I'm gonna cry
Think I'm sinking even more
Will you even shed a tear
as I lie here and die?
Why should I even ask these questions...
when I already know all the answers...
and I know you just care about her...
So what happens when she falls...?
Cuz she's falling to the ground
tears falling from her eyes
And suddenly I see...
she's just falling into you...
So I won't say goodbye
I'll just take my things and leave
Everyone else is asleep...
And I'm falling once again...

It's fine, it's wonderful! It portrays such a strong side of Sakura. heart It wins my heart.
Let me attempt some long-time-coming poetry:
Conflagration
It sparks.
He was the handsome child, and her heart fell.
She was the weak flower, and he became her glass dome.
Weak beauty. Empty perfection.
It began.
It ignites.
He was less than perfect, and she began to understand.
She was becoming stronger, and he felt useless.
Disappearing fragility. Lowered pedestal.
It continued.
It flames.
He walks away, and her love blossoms fully.
She gives her heart, and he gives his gratitude.
Crushed spirit. Darkening soul.
It grew.
It fades.
He is engulfed in the darkness, and she tries to shine her light.
She hides her fragile self, and he does not know.
Hidden self. Infinite darkness.
It pauses.
It will live.
He will endure her light.
She will endure his darkness.
Two selves. One heart.
It will last.

Awesome, I like it Tenshi. biggrin I made a poem that was like really weird yesterday... It freaks me out a little because I just let my hand move on it's own and I didn't even think of what to put next. I just let my poetry side take over... By the way, I was listening to "Leave Out All the Rest" By Linkin Park. heart
Remembering
Nowhere to go,
wandering alone in my mind.
Memories of long ago,
hurt me yet help me go on.
I told you not to worry,
I'll be back someday.
Remembering hurts me so,
but I must to remain alive.
I must seem invincible to you,
but I can hurt on the inside.

Those 3 Words we Share.
I looked up at your face.
So cold.. like the blade against my neck.
I fought to stop the tears.
Though they flow down like an never-ending river.
My grib against my Kunai tightened, though that Kunai was useless.
I felt blood streaming down my Neck.
Yet you leaned in and whispered to me.
"Sakura... Gomenasai... Arigatou.."
What did they mean?
I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
Suddenly I felt as though my body was warmer.
You hugged me.
I was shocked.
A peircing pain came and I felt as though... There was a lip on my mouth...
I gasped out my last word.
"Aishiteru...S-s-sasuke-kun...."

Whoooo. That was DARK.
And I liked "Remembering" too. So melancholy, it makes me want to cry.
Here's some poetry in Sasuke's POV.
There's A Light On
The journey is long, it's winding,
so many detours I'd like to take
but can't.
No choice.
The day darkens, it grows cold,
something hollow is waiting
to be fulfilled.
No thing.
The metal heart is pierced by the soft sword,
I don't want it because
it's blinding.
No reason.
Parting is such sweet sorrow but dying
is a beginning for a new
direction.
No doubt.
Emptiness is waiting to be filled - are you there?
I'm walking towards the only warmth I've
ever known.
No other.
No matter how far I stray, there it is,
shining in the distance, like
a beacon.
No ceasing.
There's a light on at home, and there's
something warm I don't
deserve.
"But... you do."
