Nightpaw smiled. "Thanks Shallowpaw," she said while purring, feeling a little better. "After you finish, want to go hunting together? If its okay with Mosspelt," she added hastily.

Moonstar had a distant look in his eyes, so when Ebonywhiskers repeated his question, he wasn't surprised by his far off look."Moonstar, shouldn't we send a patrol to look for Tornstar and make sure that he left our lands? I would also like to send a patrol to look over our colective boarders and insure their strength."

Starwhisker padded out of the den and stretched her legs.
She headed for the camp entrance to go get a drink from the stream. She flicked her tail in greeting to Nightpaw and Shallowpaw as she went by.

Mosspelt saw Starwhisker headed towards the stream and fell in step with her."Thankyou so much for the herbs you helped gather, they have probobly saved both Rainfoot and Nightpaw's lives." She smiled at the other she-cat as she crouched down for a drink.

Nightpaw mewed a greeting to Starwhisker as she passed, then rose. "Ready?" she asked Shallowpaw.

Starwhisker smiled at the WaterClan medicine cat.
"And thankyou for helping Rainfoot recover" she mewed and began to lap up the cool water.

Shallowpaw lept up,"Yeah! Let's go!" She loped slowly out of the camp, mindful of Nightpaw's injury, and keeping pace with her. She slowed when she heard a rustle in the leaves only a few mouse lengths away, she signaled for Nightpaw to stop, just as a mouse crept out of the bushes. She crouched slowly, and then lept as soon as it was turned away, biting it on the neck to end it's life quickly. She caught three more mice in a simmilar way before turning to Nightpaw and watching the older apprentice's amazing hunting skills.

Mosspelt nodded, and since she was out, decided to hone her fish hunting skills, crouching down just so, she waited for the oportune moment. When she saw a school swimming by, she raked her claws trough, catching several befor they all scattered in different directions. Turning to Starwhisker she ask,"Would you help me carry these back please?"
(When is Starwhisker going to have her kits?)

Nightpaw watched Shallowpaw and smiled. "Wow your great," she said softly, then started walking down to the river. She crouched low and saw a couple fish. She waited until just the right moment then swiped two at one time and then quickly delivered a killing bite to each. She then turned back to the water and killed two more fish the same way. She smiled proudly, as her wounds wasn't affecting her hunting skills. "So when do you think you'll become a warrior?" she asked Shallowpaw.

Mosspelt turned and meowed,"Well why didn't you say so? I'll send an apprentice down to fetch these fish, come on. We must get you back to the nursery," The medicine cat in Mosspelt was taking over as she bustled Starwhisker back to the camp, and into the nursery.
(Ok, that works.)

Moonstar looked down at Ebonywhiskers.
"Yes, yes of course. Send out a patrol, Moonclan needs protection right now."
After Ebonywhiskers left he sat thinking to himself again.
Why do I always do this? It seems as if my mind is somewhere else lately yet I have no memory of what it's thinking of when I come back to the world. He pondered it for awhile and finally made himself wake up from his thoughts again and get organized. He was a leader and he had to be on top of things, so far he was failing.
He padded over to Snowystream, the debuty. "Snowystream we need one of our warriors to go back to check on Waterclan."

Shallowpaw looked over at her friend,"I don't know... I was the only first time apprentice in the battle with Tornstar, but that was an accident. I think that makes me less of a warrior, as opposed to more of one... Come on, we had better take these fish back to camp, before Snowystream sends someone after me..." Shallowpaw sighed, beliving that her mentor trusted her less than ever now.
