I've spotted a few digi-bashed images to this effect on the Web, actually - like this one, for instance. I have seen a better one, with a purple head, but can no longer locate the link... sweatdrop

No, he's not bad at all. I was kind of intrigued by his legs, I haven't seen unsymmetrical legs since BW:TM2s.

Oh, I finally got to see Galvatron's new paint job. Damn, they should have used that to start with...

As was the case with the Energon varient, in my opinion... Speaking of which, I wish they'd opten for a different colour scheme on Brimstone, but never mind.

All the Beast Planet decepticons seem to have disgusting hues of one color or another.
case in point, I could have done with parts of Scourge being a duller red. I think it would have added more to the "flame" motif they were going for.

If you look at the photograph on the back of the box (taken from the Japanese version of the toy), you'll see that this is pretty much what was meant to be. You are, of course, quite correct, though.

I've seen it, even the Japanese version seems too.... bright.
could be worse, he could have been brown... Not an attractive color for a dragon.

Every Cybertron figure that comes with a DVD has that same episode.
Recently got Alternator Skids. Like his transformation, and the fact that he's not a recolor.

I too liked Galvatrons color scheme over Megatron. It was worth saving my money and passing up Megatron for him. He just looks so much better in all modes in silver and black.
Another Transformer I got recently that benefits from the recolor is Swindle. I passed up Hardtop once I knew about this one. Now that I think about it, a lot of the Cybertron repaints have been a lot better then their originals and there are still a lot more to come! *waits patiently for Excellion*
