"Considerably not." He pour her more wine, "Drink you need to recover your strength." He looked thoughtfull for a moment, "Vices, I have a few well more then that, think me moral or immoral, or maybe even amoral. I live my life and I'ms till alive despite of it."

"You want to know why my family sheltered me? I can tell you, I can tell you now because I'm not going to hide it away here. I meet people in my dreams, talk to them. I'm the othe voice that's conversing with people when you hear them in your sleep." She had been asleep one day in Black Amber, she could only afford visiting once a night a week to maintain her strength "What you're doing to the young construct is cruel."

"The fable lands of Ulthar, the land where it is illegal to kill a cat, Kadeth the home of the gods. The stairs the lead to the dream world. The silver key that opens the door." It was interesting to find such a being, "Such an interesting person you are, I think I would like to talk to you much at length over such matters."

It went right over his head, but fine, fine, if this is what people here wanted, it wasn't her place to argue "What would you like to know? I'm not sure how much help I can be for you."

"That would be something I would talk about upon further reading." Giving a small smile, "I choose to ignore your point tell I heard your responce so you wouldn't possibly be abashed by my comments. To the construct and me being cruel. I can say not much in my defense, in fact it be best if I didn't say anything at all. All I can really say is that I think I love her. I would not like to see her hurt, but to see her happy, so I can't refuse her; if that makes me cruel then I am. I will not change that."

"It's your life, I'm sure you know the history of her previous lovers." It saddened her a little to hear that. He had that same determination that Rivven Dilys had. How was the woman able to ensnare these men? "You've obtained the bulk of your knowledge from books then."

She caught his eye and shook her head "No thanks, although that I am sure such a collection would mention someone such as myself. My family was afraid I would be accused of sourcery because by piecing together what I heard from other people I could sometimes predict what would happen."

"I..............really have no idea what to reply to that." she wasn't used to curses, and was trying to quickly grasp the conventions of the clan. No one she had ever known at court would dare use that word.

Looking at her queer like, "Your court really was messed up if it can't handle little four letter words. Hope you can grow beyond that, but how you could respond well you could wonder what types of books I have, how many there are and so forth."

"Last night you were talking about a enchanter's book, some sort of history that you gave to Morgaine. I was wondering if you could tell me any more about it?" she asked, trying still to shake herself from his words.

"It is a rather simple book, it is about the different cults of france over the ages and the devotions that had, different ceromonies, summonings, banishments. Alusions to other writings. Simple things like that, but what is often simple often has frightful implications."

"Do you have any other intention when you gave it to her? When I talked to you that seemed to be one of the first things you wanted to bring up, which led me to believe it was important to you somehow." Morgaine's mind was far more twsited than his, but he had been easier to talk to.
