Hey everyone! I'm (almost) 16, and I was raised Methodist. I never really believed anything they told me, since I've always questioned everything and just about everyone but the pastor (who is one of my heroes for life) would get so annoyed with my questioning that they would refuse to call on me when I raised my hand during children's Bible study. So I've basically been agnostic all my life. I recently however became a Buddhist, and I am extremely happy with it thusfar. It's given me the filling feeling that I never got from Christianity and that I believe a religion should give you.

I've always been really interested in religion, and began researching every religion I could when I was about 11. And I hope this guild can clarify some things and teach me even more.

I'm Lilith and was born and raised as more of a spiritual christian then one who follows the bible. Around the age of 9 I branched out and explored other relgiions and found things that helped me decide that christianity was not the right path for me, and set out on a year long "journey" (not traveling kind) to find my own religion. At the age of 10 I found Satanism and have been an Athiestic Satanist for the last 8 years of my life.

I hope to find religious tolerance and discussion in this guild. Thanks for accepting me.

Welcome to the guild Lilith. It's quite interesting that you found Satanism at an age so young. My first experience studying it was in high school. How did you happen to find it and consider practising it?

Here is a questionaire I filled out on another forum.

Magickal paths you've studied/practice: Demonic (young angry teenage girl), Druidry and mainly experiences that occured around me that I just had to figure out. Currently I call myself a wild mage.

Other paths of interest: I like learning about all paths.

Do you practice divination? If so, which form?: Tarot and reading candle wax drippings

Do you have psychic talents? clairvoyance

Favorite poet: not sure

Favorite musical artist or band: all kinds except rap, right now I am into middle-eastern

Favorite book/s: Harry Potter, Conversations with God, The Peaceful Warrior, all of the Little House on the Prairie Books, Weave World

Favorite film/s: the ones I've seen lately that I like is Zathura, The Illusionist, and Eragon

Favorite quote: "You used me as an example in class of what not to do?" My friend Mage Revanant who enjoys jumping threads on the web of Wyrd instead of going from node to node.

Favorite television show: Battlestar Galactica - new version (I watch it on DVD commercial free.)

Do you have any hobbies? crosstiching a quilt - Instead of blasting someone I focus on breathing in and out with each stitch.

Hi! I'm someone who chooses not to believe in any existing religion. My mother was mormon but she left the church before I was born. She raised me to beleive whatever I want to and I do.

I've run out of ideas of what to tell you so. . . If anyone really wants to know more about me, just say so and I'd be glad to tell you.

Hi, I'm bubbleofdoom. I'm 16 and live in Ontario, Canada. I wasn't raised with any religion. The closest I guess would be Christianity, because we celebrate Christmas, but my parents were never religious people. When I was about 13 was the first time I ever questioned what religion I was or what my spiritual beliefs were. Since then I've been studying and trying to gain information abouts lots of different religions so as to be able to make an educated decision, before I commit to any one belief system. That's about all I can think to say for now, so hey everyone!

Hello! I'm oboleia.
I was raised christian and sufi. The influence of sufism made me very open to all belief systems and I like learning about the many beliefs.
I think there are so many different religions, because we are all different and for everyone exist a way to follow. For me this is buddhism, for my friend sufism and for you it might be someother faith and that is wonderful.
I am very happy to be a new member of this guild! If you like to know what my other interests are visit my profile and leave a comment. You're always welcome to pm if you like, I'll answer for sure, but please no chainletters!

May all beings be happy and free from suffering!

Hey all! I'm FiearySquirrel, and I'm a red squirrel from England w0ot! I'm extinct because those grey bastards are taking over and they are AMERICAN! AMERICA IS THE ENEMY! LOL I joke! I SWEAR!! twisted Nah, many of my friends are American razz Anyways my real name is Rebecca Ann Valentine, but you can call me Becky for short (everyone else does). I'm Foamy's personal b***h, alas I haven't got a cameo role yet! So for now I'm b***h of Risika7 (another Gaian member, be sure to stalk her for me!).

Anyway, my parents are both Angelicans, aka Church of England (NOT Protestant). I have never been christened mainly because my parents couln't be arsed. But I think they wanted me to make my own mind up about religion. My parents moved to Arizona when I was 4 and left me here to have a British education...according to my Dad he didn't want me to live the Aerican life as a child, even though I went to summer camp there rolleyes

My relatives from my Dad's side are wierd! My great-grandmother once said that all boys should be Prtoestant and all girls Catholic. No makes no ******** sense to me neither, but that's my family for you. So I was to be Catholic. Never been baptized though, and I bit the gonads of the priest who ******** tried it, so I was essentially thrown out of the Catholic Church, the preist scared I must be some Devil's daughter..teehee. I began to DESPISE Christianity and any other organized religion.

On my Mum's side, my relatives are very leniant compared. My Aunt Jeanette, whilst a member of CofE, practices divination. And is HELLA good in my opinion. Whilst my Aunt Sophie practices Asatru, since my mum's side has Danish roots and my grandma was Asatru as well. She now lives in Denmark, bless her. Howver much I am interesed in this form of Paganism I cannot seem to understand most of it (tis very complex for me). It was a great way, however, for me to get into Paganism. I began reading up on Wicca during that time also. For quite a while I wanted to be Wicca, and believed myself to be. Now I don't know why but several years later, I think due to my bipolar disorder, I got disinterested. I was on a major low and only found my soul again through Paganism, via a Druid. I owe much to this Druid and he's the coolest dude ever! I do class myself as a Pagan and I believe in a higher being but not as a God, Goddess nor both. The higher being we all speak of is essentially inside all of us. I do have my interests in Shaminism, but only recently because of my boyfriend's interest in it. Buddism because I do believe in karma and reincarnation. Egyptian Magic because I do actually feel my roots in Egypt for some unknown reason. I'm essentially learning more each day. The more I learn, the more I feel close to spiritual enlightenment.

That's all now...and breath... domokun

Hello, my name is Danielle and I'm new to the guild. I wasn't raised very religous, but everybody I lived with--Mom, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Aunt--always believed in god. My mother even baptised me Lutheran, but I didn't start going to church until last year, my freshman year of high school; one of my friends asked me to come to "Truth" with her one Tuesday night, which is basically bible study and Worship. While I believe in God and Jesus, there are some things in the bible I don't always agree with. I also love learning and I have an interest in learning more about other religions, more than the little tidbits I've been able to glean from reading and such.
Warning: I like debates and if anybody finds a particular subject that interests me, I may start ranting/ arguing with you. I mean no harm; debates are uaually fun.
