(( MT: Alright, I'll just stick to Seamus then. I thought mixing it up a bit was a way to stay away from repetitiveness, but yeah. sweatdrop And I already knew about the pronunciation, since I've been trying to teach myself Japanese, so no worries there.
Amy: Nooo, don't poke it! It'll break the poking device!
Happy ChrismaHanaKwanzika to all, and to all a Merry New Years! ))
Seamus couldn't stand silence. He was always surrounded by noise of some sort, even if he had to make it himself- it was the reason he was a chatterbox. But considering the who's, the why's, and the where's of this situation, Seamus wondered if he should even bother. Obviously the kid was anti-social, and had no interest in any type of conversation whatsoever.
He wondered if he was being too pushy. Then he decided that logic could go eff itself, since he was Italian and Italians were never pushy, only charming.
But as he and the ever-silent Orpheus continued down the never-ending hallways to the caf, he continued to wonder about things. Like, how come Pyro-boy was the only homophobe here? Was everyone here just incredibly liberal and accepting of homosexuality, like he was, studly bisexual man that he is? Or was everyone secretely gay, and this was the season premiere of "Queer Eye for the Angsty and Pyschologically Unbalanced Guy" ?
But more importantly, did Abby have a planned out "Kumbayah" campfire session planned out?
All of these thoughts were tossed out of his head as the duo reached the caf, and inevitably, the pizza.
He figured with all of the doom and gloom and general 'woe ish me' attitude around here, someone had to lighten things up. Might as well be the Italian.
Temporarily ignoring the tantalizing aroma, and the urge to start a food fight in order to break the ice, he shuffled over to....Leo, or Liam, wasn't it?....he attempted to joke, "So, you come 'round these parts often?" He chuckled at his own joke, "How was your show?"

“My show?” Liam looked over at the other boy, a little surprised that he was being talked to - as if it wasn’t an everyday occurrence. “Ah, it was alright...” He was excited about it, but didn’t like to come off as such. It was a bit dorky to be a fan, after all. “I sort of...” trailing off, he searched for the right phrase, “watch it out of obligation.” The subject wasn’t expounded upon. The last thing the gawky boy wanted was for people to start calling him -Hollywood- like they had when he had attended boarding school as a young child.
His cheeks were flushed pink, and they were clearly visible, as were those bright cerulean eyes of his that spoke of the vulnerability that was behind the facade of his long limbs and towering body. When he had gone to watch Another Tomorrow, he had pinned his bangs back with a simple silver barrette, and there they remained, his hairstyle forgotten because of Abby’s announcement. It was sort of how a girl might put up her own hair as she did her makeup.
“And... you? Did you enjoy... the move?” How else was he supposed to word that?

Tristan regretted his question as soon as Aiden was finished answering. He hadn't meant to make the boy feel bad, but he couldn't understand how Aiden could let people do that to him and seem to be okay with it. Although reason made it justified, morals made it outrageous. In Tristan's mind, although having the normal urges like every teenage boy, couldn't see himself having sex with anyone for money. His treatment of girls had been close to chivalrous and he could never imagine paying one to sleep with. Let alone having someone pay him.
His blue eyes tried to make sense of Aiden's situation while his expression molded into something unreadable.
"It... makes sense." Tristan finally concluded slowly, though his tone showed his discomfort in saying so. "...You just put your family before yourself."
The cobalt eyes lifted from the floor and found Aiden's face flushing. He needed to learn to filter what came out of his mouth before he ended up hurting someone.
"PIZZA!"
Perfect timing to change the subject. Tristan stood up and then walked over to the door. He pulled it open and then stood aside and waited for Aiden to pass through first. "C'mon. Chow time."

Abby's smile seemed to brighten at Kindred's responce and she chuckled softly. "Sorry to bother you. Did you hear my announcement about the pizza?" She asked but then went on and didn't really give him time to answer.
"I spoke with the doctor and he's told me that you've had episodes of fainting in the past. Because there are no cameras in any of your rooms and no way to monitor you, I'd feel better if you roomed with another one of the boys in case you fainted. I wouldn't want you to get sick and no one would be around to help you." She explained. You could tell that she was genuinly concerned about Kindred's well being by her tone of voice. Although some of the boys might have considered her a bit of a "nervous nelly" type of person, her caution seeming over-done.
"I'm sorry if you've already settled into your room, I wish I could have switched you sooner before you moved all of your things in."

((Alright, sorry to have yet another OOC note, but I'm going on vacation in a few days, and won't be able to post for awhile. I might or might not post once or twice more, but considering its Christmas, probably not. Just warning you guys. sweatdrop ))
Seamus chuckled and teased, " 'Enjoy....the move?' Sounds kind of kinky, there." He lightly punched the taller boy's arm and said, "Ya' don't need to be so nervous, I don't bite. But yeah, the move was alright..... it's only been a few days, but I miss Da alot already. The only family the other's got, and all that.... speaking of which, how's your roomie? He treatin' you right? Nice hair, by the by...let's people know you have eyes too."
Realizing how much he was talking, Seamus promptly shut up. Interacting with all of these guys and trying to get them to come out of their shells was probably too much excitement for him. He needed to be more careful, and stop acting like a hyperactive puppy. The doctors had said that most of the narcoleptic fits he had were brought on by overexcitement.....most of the time. He just hoped he didn't have another face-plant. Now that had been embarassing.

((Haha. Orpheus is perfectly situated to clean up whatever mess Seamus gets into. I can just picture him dragging and sleeping Seamus down the halls, that blank, dark expression on his [Orpheus'] face. 8D;;;; ITWOULDSOHAPPEN.
And Merry Christmansstuffthingamabob to everyone.))
Aiden had diverted his pale eyes from the other to stare down at his bear when Abby's announcement suddenly sounded on the intercom, causing him to jump. A rather more normal flush taking the place of the old one, Aiden stood up slowly (to disguise the slight shaky feeling in his limbs that he didn't want anyone to notice) and set the bear down.
He glanced back up at Tristan and smiled slightly sheepishly. "Nnnn... yeah. I'm pretty hungry." He walked through the door and one would never have known just how queezy he felt by the way he walked. Aiden had become good at pretending - pretending that everything was fine and perfect and.... He turned back and flashed his usual bright smile at Tristan, as if nothing had happened - as if he had completely forgotten their conversation - and quickly made his way to the caffeteria, where he practically inhaled his first two slices or pizza.

“K-Kinky? H-how?” Liam stammered, trying to remember if he had inserted some sort of innuendo he hadn’t meant to, but it didn’t seem that important. Seamus was about a mile a minute, and soon he was reminded of his hairstyle by the younger boy. Fingers lifted to brush across the metallic barrette, but he realized that if he took it down he’d seem weak, easily made fun of. He couldn’t have that, after all. “Well, uh,” He cleared his throat, subduing his blush, “Thanks...”
His gaze fell upon the pizza, and he inspected them with the utmost scrutiny, finding the absolute smallest piece before he set it on his plate. He didn’t want to eat it, nor did he intend to - but appearances had to be kept. In this sort of atmosphere, nobody really noticed anyway. What he did notice, however, was Aiden’s quick consumption, and he lifted a brow before he began to speak. “Wow, I wouldn’t expect him to have such an appeti...” He trailed off, realizing that Seamus had grown quiet. “Huh? Are you alright?” He remembered something from the meeting, something about this boy having some sort of fit. Was it epileptic? Maybe he had some sort of heart condition. He couldn’t remember what it was, but it made him nervous to think that something might happen now.

((happy christmas))
Kindred listened to Abby and tried to keep the disappointment from his face. True he had only been in a single for a few hours and most of it he had spent very bored but the awkwardness of having a roommate he did not look forward to. Espicially one that would have to worry about him just falling over one day. His spells didn't happen often, but Kindred understood Abby's concern. And her sugar sweetness made it hard to argue. He chuckled when she mentioned if he had settled in. He had the clothes on his back and a small bag that was mostly empty. He simply grabbed it before he stepped out of the room. "This is all I got." he said.
Another short awkardness passed and then he headed to the cafeteria. There as expected were the other boys he had really only caught a glimpse of. He didn't know any names or faces. Shifting the bag on his arm he grabbed three slices before sitting down. He positioned himself close enough to Seamus and Liam so that if they wanted they could include him in whatever conversation they were having or just let him be alone with hovering in.

((@Crumpette: Hah. I look forward to seeing that. 8D I may have to draw it, too (if I find time. I'm currently babysitting from 9:30-6:30 for at least two days this week [today and tomorrow], so I... am not sure when I hae time to myself. xD;;;
@All: So, how was everyone's Christmas? :"D ))
Orpheus had slouched in after Seamus, keeping his now natural low profile by sticking to the shadows - that was, until he went up to grab a slice of pizza. Coincedentally, that was also the time when Seamus stopped talking and Liam voiced his concern. In spite of himself (and the many lessons he had taught himself about not reacting), his head snapped up and he studdied the Narcoleptic with a skeptical, brown-gold eye.
"... He's not about to faint, if that's what you want to know...." Orpheus murmured, gaze dropping again. Try as he might to be completely detatched, he just couldn't force himself to not care -- especially since Seamus was his new roomate and he was supposed to "look after" the sleep-plauged guy. "He's just... containing himself, I guess," he said slowly, shrugging slightly. He looked back up at Seamus and explained, "I once had an aunt that was a Narcoleptic.... she's dead now, but the family used to pass her around and we nearly always were the ones taking care of her."
((Coincedence, huh? xD;;; I had already planned on him having a Narcoleptic aunt before Seamus came in (I had a deseign for Orpheus a REALLY long time ago... before this RP.... he changed a bit since then, but he's still about the same >>;; ). xD;;;;; Funny, huh?))

Seamus gave nodded. In a more composed manner he responded, "Yeah, don't worry too much Liam. I just have to keep reminding myself to stay calm and composed.... overexcitement is one of the things that triggers a fit. And I was just joking earlier about the kinkyness. But geez Orpheus, that sucks. Were you guys close? Did she have to do all of that meditation crap as well?"
He grabbed a few slices of pizza and put them on his plate, all the while maintaining an even breathing pattern, like the doctors had advised. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the new guy, Kindred. Seeing that he was standing by himself, he decided to shout out to him....after all, they weren't in high school anymore- there weren't any cliques.
"Yo, Kindred, what's up?"
((It really is a small world, eh Mie? LOL. My Christmas was amazing...I mananged to beat most of my relatives (including my dad, who was born with a horseshoe up his a**) at Texas Hold'em. It was so much fun.... how 'bout you? Have fun babysitting!))

“Yeah... I knew that... funny... really...” Liam responded softly beneath the voices of the boys talking, then forced a laugh nervously. Unlike Orpheus, who seemed so calm and cool all of the time, Liam unconsciously gave off a rather panicked vibe, as he had no real idea how to interact with the other boys, though it was clear he really wanted to. Fading into the background a little, he listened to Orpheus and Seamus chat, finding little place to interject. He had an aunt too, but she didn’t have narcolepsy. He suspected that she might be anorexic... but so were half of his relatives. It didn’t really have anything to do with the conversation at hand.
“Oh.” He snapped out of a slight daze as Seamus said hello to the other boy. “Your name is Kindred, huh.” He didn’t pay the closest attention to things at the meeting. “I’m Liam..” He was often told that he needed to be more assertive, to put himself out there, and so he tried his hardest to. What were these kids going to do anyway? Tell him he was screwed up? It takes one to know one. “There was a show called Kindred, in the nineties. It only lasted one season, because the lead died...” As he spoke, his voice grew lower, realizing that nobody probably cared. Clearing his throat, he spoke up again, directing his question to the new boy as he set his plate down, pizza still untouched. “So uh, do you like television?”
