"He still freaked when he found out." Emily laughed slightly. "Though that might have something to do with the circumstances at the time." She sighed. "I was just afraid he would leave me."

Sunrise stretched out and took a twig in her hand, fiddling with it absently.
"I just don't know what to do Emily, what do I do? Ask him to pretend to be my kid's dad? I couldn't do that to him!" Sunrise asked with a low holow voice.

"You can't ask that of your child either Sun." Emily sighed. "You're going to have to realize you made a mistake and try to get through it. Tell Fate that you know he's not the biological father, but that you really love him, and would appreciate his support. Though be considerate and tell him that he doesn't have to."

"But I know he likes me, but what if he doesn't love me? We have only known each other for about two weeks now," Sunrise said worriedly. She sighed and buried her face in her hands. "This is so confusing," she moaned into her hands.

"Well wait a couple months and get to know him better. The baby isn't due for awhile. How many months do you have left?" Since Emily had lost her baby she had stopped keeping track of the time.

Sunrise looked up at the sky and started counting on her fingers. She wasn't the best at math. "I've still got five and a half months," she said finally. "I'm only able to hide it because these robes are so baggy, but otherwise I'm totally showing of you look closely."
