'Is she going to answer when she's a baby?' Aranea said, her eyelids dropping a little as Feles kneaded her lower back.
'Mmm..I don't know what we will call our 'spawn'.' she yawned, wriggling a foot that had fallen asleep.
'You think of a name..' she said.

"I'll think on it," he whispered in reply, moving to pillow his head on her stomach as he continued the slow kneading motions. His eyes drooped closed, but he was far from sleep... he was simply enjoying listening to the movement of his child, and the steady heartbeat of his lover.

'You do that..' Aranea mumbled as the gentle kneading did its work. For now she was as comfortable as she could get and she drifted into sleep.

Aranea paced, on sore feet, hair a little dishevelled and eyes underlined with black shadows. Her back ached, her legs ached, and her breasts were heavy with milk like she was some domesticated herd animal. She scowled, looking at the heavy belly that hung before her, the baby within quiet for now, no kicking or movement since this morning. The huge bump seemed to hang lower now, or maybe it was just her sleep-deprived mind making her believe so, but either way she was very uncomfortable. She couldnt lay down, it wasnt comfortable, sitting just made the baby press on her bladder even more then normal, so walking was the only option.
Out walking, around the Castellum, bare feet being cushioned by the thick summer grass, the light breeze cooling her hot skin.It was probably a good thing that Feles was nowhere around, for right now she was in a thoroughly murderous mood.
'Feles..' she hissed, slowly lowering herself to the ground. It would mean a half hour attempt to get up again, but she was so so tired.
A little while later she stirred again, having fallen into a doze. A small spider was gently investigating her bump, and she captured it, moving it to one side of her before trying to stand up. Slowly shifting onto her knees, then pushing herself up, and pin-wheeling for a moment before steadying herself on a tree, she finally stood again, her legs groaning at having to support her weight again. As she stood upright she winced, holding the sides of her bump as a rippling spasm of pain hit her. Liquid trickled down her legs as her water broke.
'Oh..oh..oh..' Aranea panicked for a moment, glancing over at the Castellum aways from where she was. She was outside, and she was on her own, and it looked as if the baby was finally on its way.
'Calm down..' she ground the words out, directing them forcefully at herself. At that she slowly staggered forwards, determined to have her baby in the comfort of the Castellum, with Feles by her side and not in the woods like an animal..
