stellarmagic Yeah it is... as for the difference in wing numbers... Cale where did you get three squadrons from? A Rebel Wing is four squadrons, an Imperial Wing is six... Oh wait, most modern (Real World) combat wings are three to four squadrons. Maybe thats where you got the number. My bad. I might have been confused.

And, that would be 12 fighters per squadron.
I'll give him this: he's ambitious, and you can't really fault him for trying.

no we cant but there are obvious problems with so many fighters stationed in one ship.
Blast the ship, an easy thing to do to a super freighter, and there are now 152 homeless fighter pilots. Theres nowhere in his sphere of control where he could land so many fighters.

but once the carrier was scrap, the droids would shut down, killing the entire force.

What I have in mind is a hybrid of the X and A-wings, and it would be co-designed by Freya, Rusty and the Mon Cals.

Hammer out the details, then post your idea up here. Note however, that the Mon-Cals co-built the B-wing. Not the X or A wing.
