"I don't know..." Mia mumbled. Her mind kept flashing back to her dream the night before. Ever since that day, she become quiet and reclusive. Ever since that day, she avoided the outside like the plague. She hated blood...ever since that day. She bit her tongue, trying to stop herself from crying. I...am such a...wuss... she thought.

Ruby felt much compassion for Mia, the poor girl, she had been so quiet, no doubt a result from the war. She wanted to reach out and comfort the girl, but she was scared to, for she didn't know how Mia might react.

Azalia got up and sat down next to Mia. She gave Mia a smile that plainly said, Everything will be okay. We're all here for you. Azalia knew she had been through a lot, and just needed support and love.

Mia looked up at Azalia, and tried to smile back. She knew that she had friends now. She knew she had a different kind of family with her now. Yet...she still couldn't get over the death of her parents.
[[Just curious, but last I saw of Jesse, he fell asleep on a couch, and hasn't woken up yet. So what happened to him?]]

((Guess I should post.... Not much for me to do right now, so this is gonna be pretty sad....))
Jessica silently watched the girls comfort Mia. Everyone seemed incredibly compassionate. Suddenly needing to move, she quietly got to her feet and went to get some hot chocolate.
((See? Sad. So sad.))

I miss the country snow. Waking up and looking out the window at the even blanket, a fresh canvas with no footprints. It gets dirty and trampled on much to quickly. And there's no really good place to sled." She sighed.

Ruby got up and began to walk around. She went to the second floor and walked around. Her footsteps echoed down the empty hallway. There were many gray and dreary rooms that were unoccupied, and those with their door shut Ruby didn't intrude. She went into one room that was obviously unoccupied and sat there in silence.

Mia cocked her head at Azalia. "Really? It never snowed where I used to live...It hardly even got cold. I've experienced snow before...but never a lot. The most I've seen in one place is about an inch or so."

Acoine sneeked in and said, "I know what you mean. I loved it when it snowed 3 feet. I'd go out and snowboard down the mountains in Spain." Azalia turned and looked at him. "Hey. I'm back early, and I have some bad news for you."

Once in the kitchen, she looked around. All the materials needed for hot chocolate were there in front of her, but suddenly her stomach felt weak and queasy, and putting forth the effort of making hot chocolate seemed less than worth it. After a few moments of staring intensely at the packets of hot chocolate, she turned around and moved for the stairs. As she passed through the hallway, she tried to remember which room was hers. Finally, she saw one with the door slightly open and came in, slowly closing the door behind her. When she turned around, she jumped, seeing Ruby on the bed.
"S-Sorry," she murmured. "I got the wrong room."
