The machine thing doesn't really have a name, but the eyebrows guy calls it the terminal core. She calls anything that she can act affectionate toward "Takkun."

No, she calls Naota's brother Takkun.
As in, she calls Takkun's older brother Takkun. 'Cos he went to America and she doesn't have anyone so she keeps finding new Takkuns.
