Jaden shook his head no. " Why would he do that?" He couldn't think of a reason for his dad to talk about him unless he'd done something wrong and Jaden normally stayed in his room. " Have i done something daddy doesn't like?"

"There are other's at the asylum that shiver like you, though they're a great deal worse. He talks to them and tries to work with them to find a cure for you at the same time. He talks to them about you about how beautiful you are and how nice your personality is the few times he's seen you. He's very proud of you, y'know." He explained, smiling warmly at the other. "He talks about Ruben as well, but not half as much, as people know Ruben themselves."
Ruben nodded in agreement, he did visit and interact with many people around the asylum as he met them, they found some kind've odd comfort talking to a boy who couldn't talk back. Jsut a sort've release that couldn't judge them. He didn't mind in teh slightest, he enjoyed being talked to.

Jaden fidgeted nervousely, he wasn't all that his dad thought of him and he deffentialy wasn't beautiful. " Why is he proud of me, I haven't done anyhting that warrents it." He said softly looking away.

Jaden still didn't really understand why though. " i dont think he does." he wasn't a very good brother, sometimes he didn't like hearing his own brothers name, because he was jealous of all the attention Ruben got even if it was just because they were trying to help him.

"Tell you what, next time you talk to him, ask him about the duende orb. I bet you he'll go all embarrassed. Technically it was meant to be a secret, as it's a gift for you. I wont tell you what it does however, you can still have that as a surprize." He told him sitting up.

" Duende orb?" What the heck was that? He'd heard of orbs before but never a duende orb. He didn't really like surprises they tended to scare him...

" Okay." Jaden said softly looking at his feet. He still held his knife in his hands he wanted to show his dad and ask about the orb thingy, but could wait since he was pretty sure both his mom and dad were sleeping.

" I've naglected my only friend, to afraid to go visit him." Jaden said sadly. Head bowed. " And sometimes i get jealous of my own brother." He hadn't ment to say it since both his parents were in the other room and might hear him.

" The last time i went to the Asylum other then when i was sick Shadow got out and i nearly fell down and elevator shaft." SO he was afraid to go back, even though he wanted to.
