Dr. Kit-kat WyndiWingfall You know those stories where Hiei's Jagan acts up and it needs to find a mate? THOSE are stupid. It's an EYE, for crying out loud. Heck, it doesn't have anything to mate WITH. stressed Yeah, really! Since when do eyes have genders!? What's even worse is that it somehow is drawn to a mary sue or an emo girl. I really can't see Hiei paired with anyone, he's too(By demon standards)young and restless. I just wish there was one character out there paired uo with him in fanfiction that wasn't a mary sue and dosen't make everyone go out of character. So far, that's never been seen. XD
KarasuYukina...? I think I'm in shock.

Youko Kasumi By the way, what's a mary sue? (shame on me, being a fanfic writer myself and not knowing! xp ) quoted from Wikipedia due to laziness. sweatdrop Quote: Mary Sue (sometimes shortened simply to Sue) is a pejorative term for a fictional character who is portrayed in an overly idealized way and lacks noteworthy flaws, or has unreasonably romanticized flaws. Characters labeled Mary Sues, as well as the stories they appear in, are generally seen as wish-fulfillment fantasies of the author. Characters labeled as a "Mary Sue" have what are seen as exaggerated and annoying (and sometimes impossible) levels of superiority, especially in comparison to the other characters, to real people in similar situations, or both. While "Mary Sue" is a subjective term, there are nonetheless many traits commonly associated with the concept of the "Mary Sue". Typically, characters most commonly labeled as "Mary Sues" are set apart from others in the story by their unique and exceptional skills and traits. Mary Sues are extremely physically attractive, and their appearance may include an unusual "natural" hair or eye color. (Eyes may also be depicted changing colors according to time, place, emotion, or other causes.). Exotic names are not an unusual trait. They may be a race which is uncommon or unknown in the story's setting, or even a hybrid of two or more species. They may have unusual pets or magical possessions, often simply to increase their perceived specialness compared to the other characters. Many Mary Sues have skills remarkably like the canon characters, often considerably more advanced than what would be expected of their age group in canon or the real world. These skills are usually received without need for practice or experience. Mary Sues are usually presented as highly moral, sometimes sacrificing their lives or happiness for the sake of other characters, even when this Western viewpoint would be uncommon for the setting of the story. Tragic backgrounds are also common among Mary Sues, which frequently include family abuse or neglect, or, in fan fiction, relations to major canon characters through blood or strangely contrived family ties. These backgrounds are often used as a device to make other characters sympathize with them, as well as a device to gain sympathy from the reader. Hey, it's from Wikipedia so it MUST be true! blaugh

It's a good quiz to take if you have doubts about your characters. http://www.ponylandpress.com/ms-test.html

Karasu X KoEnma
Shuichi X Youko
Shuichi X Makoda (I don't know where people come up with stuff!)
Anyone X People from imaginary animes (no offence to anyone who does that...)

Wow... I missed a lot. Just so you know I was moving and had lots to do..
Kurama X Death tree.. Because trees can be romantic too..
Poor Hiei's Jagan. He's/ She's /It's so lonely. It needs a friend. Do you want to be it's friend?
Spirit of the Kokuryuuha huh? Since it's a girl, when it got absorbed into Hiei did he become partially female? Oh it's so much fun warping pairings.
Hiei X Yukina. Incest.
Personally, I think pairing a boy up with Hiei is terrible when he has such a cute girlfriend (Mukuro).

I want to be the Jagan's friend! I wanna be friends with an eye implant! TOTALLY! *sarcasm here*
I also hate KuramaHiei pairings where Kurama's demon spirit has left his human body, so the body turns human. Gender changes are not as simplistic as that. burning_eyes
HieiMukuro is not canon, though it's severely hinted at. But you can never really decipher what the relationship is, and I think it's meant to be open-ended.
