Shinku was a little surprised by the hug and ended up falling backward into the booth since he was unprepared. He let her take his hands and laced his fingers with her's as the remained in their embrace. "I'm happy for you Hitomi..." He said gently, smiling happily. "And why would I want to leave you? No way am I leaving you behind anymore..." He told her.

"You know.. Kestrel said that you hardly smiled. It makes me feel good that I can make you smile..." Hitomi remembered. "Kestrel said that I have to make you happy. Of course, I couldn't object that request." Hitomi played gently. "..and you better not leave me behind!" she added.
Hiro opened a sleepy eye, watching Hitomi and Shinku carefully. He gave a small smile, seeing how happy Hitomi was. Love, huh. Love seemed to be a very difficult thing, and something that couldn't have a concrete meaning attached to. And even though Hiro was happy for Hitomi... he was a little bit jealous. He closed his eye again, wandering back to the river of sleep.

Saraneth instinctively reached out to feel the weight on her stomach, and ended up petting Hiro as she rose to a sitting position. "Ow... did I get run over by a moose...? I thought that was a one in one million chance... what are the chances it'll happen to me twice?" She cradled Hiro in her arms and kissed the top of his head. Hiro was definitely a really cute cat. She looked up and saw Shinku and Hitomi hugging each other.
"Oh... did I wake up at a bad time?" She smirked, then winced. Even smiling hurt. Sara looked down and whistled. "Didn't think you'd patch me up, Shinku. When's the last time you did THAT? I must've still been an apprentice then..."

"You should be careful Kestrel... You're not in the best of conditions..." Shinku told her lightly. "Besides... You return my fiance's sight, and I guess I owe you a bit of thanks..." He told her with a smile. "And Hitomi... I'm never going to leave you behind again... Never..." He told her softly, kissing her lovingly after he spoke.

Shepard smiled and sipped his Coke. He ordered a bowl of preztels for them and starting snacking down. He wasen't hungry much. He never really was. He rubbed his ear as it started ringing a little. Either someone was talking about him or the noise was getting to him. He suddenly felt hunted again. He looked behind him and saw nothing. Then he looked to to the side of him-- and fell on the floor ducking as he saw a sword fly torwards his head. " What the ********?!" he yelled.
Rex looked at Shepard. " I missed once. I will not again!" he said swinging it at Shepards chest. Shepard moved again using his speed. He quickly jumped up and fired a ball of blue fire at Rex. Rex brought his shield up and the ball dissappaited. Shepard looked annoyed and went to grab his sword...only to realize that he forgot them at his dorm. " Damnit.." he said as Rex charged at him again.

Miaya had been snacking on the pretzels and sipping at her diet coke, finally calming down from her slight moment of embarrasment; That is untill she saw Shepard fall onto the floor and a sword fly by. She became very confused. "Shepard, what's going on? Who is that guy?" She asked with worry frozen to her spot in the room, as she watched some guy attack Shepard, and in turn Shepard attack back.

Hiro opened a lazy eye as he found himself purring once more. He was waaay to fond of attention when he was in his kitty form, but hey, he was a cat. What could he do? He purred contently as he was now fully awake. He watched Shinku kiss Hitomi, he almost twitched. This was when he became even more jealous of Shinku. He didn't ever have something that he had... and it seemed that his best chance was gone. His ears drooped, and he stopped purring. He seemed... sad.
Hitomi gave a small blush as Kestrel woke up and commented on waking up at a bad time. Though she smiled after Shinku kissed her, even if her cheeks became rosier. "I'm holding you to that, Shinku." She replied softly. She looked at Kestrel and bowed her head. "Thank you ever so much, Kestrel!" Hitomi exclaimed, giving a wide smile. Heck, she could cry, because she was so happy... and that was what happened. She felt the tears run down her face, and she quickly wiped them away, even though more came down. "I-I'm so h-ha-happy!" She managed to stutter, as she gave a half laugh, half sob.

Nathan walked onto the bleachers and watched the race as he got some fries to eat while watching. He looked around and saw some people fighting but he just ignored it. Nathan looked up and watched the clouds fly by, They were big and fluffy in the light blue sky. His silver hair blew in the wind as he watched the sky.
Nathan looked back at the race and waited fior someone to win, but so far no one won. "This is boring theres nothing to do here..."

Joyce looked around the race track for Rex but couldn't see him any where. She sat down after getting a hot dog to munch on and watched the race. Hmmm I wonder where he is... She thought to her self. Joyce shook her head letting her hair go infront of her eyes and smiled once again.
After a while she looked around again and saw a guy sitting down by the end of the bleachers were she was sitting. She got up then walked over to him. "Hi..." She said with a cute smile.

Nathan looked over at the girl and smiled. "Hi, I'm Nathan but you can call me Neko if you'd like..." He put his hand out to shake her hand. He smiled then looked at the race track. As the race went by he kind of got a little dizzy watching them go around in circles so he decided to look back at the girl he just met.

There was alot of commotion going on where shepard and Rex where. rex kept taking jabs at Shepard but they where dodged. Shepard kept pelting bluefire at Rex but they where blocked. Finally Shepard charged in and kicked the sword and shield out of his attackers hand. He then punches Rex in the face, causing him to fall back against the bar.
Shepard charged again but found himself blown away by a fireball. He had some resianst to fire due to his race but it still burned like hell. He held his semi-brunt chest and looked at Rex with anger. " who are you?!" he yelled.

Joyce smiled taking his hand gently and shaking it then letting go. "I'm Joyce but you can call me Joy. It's very nice to meet you." Joyce smiled then blushed alittle like she always did when she met guys.
She looked him in the eyes and then looked at his hair. "I love your hair it's so shiny in the sun light...i love silver." Joyce told him lightly touching his hair.

Miaya's eyes widened and she jumped to her feet as she saw the fireball hit Shepard. "Shepard!" Miaya yelled her voice filled with worry."Are you okay!? " she shouted as she tried making her way over to him. She felt a small fireball forming in her palm her anger was growing, she was doing everything she could to control it, she didn't want to see Shepard get hurt and watching exactly that happening made her angry. She was weak, if her anger grew any further the chance that she would loose control would heighten; a lose of control would both be dangerous for her and for anyone around.
