Alexander took this chance to surprise the boy. Silently getting up and pulling his blade out of the ground. Swinging it around into just the right position as he dashed off towards Shepard. He knew he would catch the arrogent boy by surprise. As he neared Shepard he swung his blade straight at his stomache, counting entirly on the element of surprise to defeat this annoying foe that had made himself present.

Kurtis watched in absolute horror..even comming back to see what demons had done to his family did not tear at his heart as much as seeing the past of Lupis life. Looking over at the creature as he faded away.
"It is a mans job to pay the price for the one he loves most. To see a happy smile on her face is what a man is supposed to do. I've seen death before and I have laughed in his face. I realize that some wounds never heal..however to continue dwelling on them means that you will never possess true happiness. Lupis should never have seen such horrid things..that is what makes humans into monsters.."
Kurtis looked up and remembered Mitternacht..he could only hope that Lupis would not loose her mind such as Luna did. Kurtis shook those horrid thoughts from his head. He knew Lupis was strong and he knew she would be able to come out of this unscathed. Kurtis continued walking as he searched for his beloved, the changling known as Lupis.

" Shepard look out!" Gordon yelled as Shepard opened his eyes from laughing to see the blade coming torwards his stomach. If he had not moved back he would have been chopped in half. But he didn't move quick enough and got his stomach sliced open. He fell to the grounnd as his acidic blood spilled on to it, burning it away. Gordon's eyes widen. He ran over to his fallen cousin. He saw how much bloood he was losing and that there was no way to help him in time. " Gordon..you twit..you need to stop caring. Your emotions will get the better of you. Just like did of me. Tell Miaya i am sorry. Tell her to move on....tell her that it was not meant to be. She is for another..." Shepard said tears streaming down his eyes. He looked at Alexander and gave a final laugh. " i told you I would be your downfall....." he said before he stopped breathing and ceased to exist...
" No....Shepard!" screamed Gordon. With that a storm seemed to have gathered over the forest. One of rage and anger. Red lightning came down from the sky. Gordon was growling underneath his breath. His eyes had rolled back into his head. The aura around him was glowing dark red with chaos energy. " I can't....let him die...in vain!" Gordon muttered as the storm became more violent. He looked up into the sky as his hair changed from blond to red and back again. " No...." he said before giving out a loud yell, more of a dragon roar, into the sky as a bolt of red lightning hit him...

The forest was silent and mist covered, the only life giant tree's that thrust out of the ground, their trunks as thick as five men. But as the path wound on there were signs of life, a bloom of flowers at one point, a startled deer, all little signs of the life force of Lupis. It almost made a path of brightness through the muted forest, eventually leading to a small cottage. The garden was in full bloom, vivid colors that delighted the eyes. Animals capered about, but they too were muted. Out front a young woman worked in the garden, a child strapped to her chest. She glowed with life force, he did not. A man came out, one will long shimmering blond hair and a beautiful sensitive face. Long wings draped around him. Going out he kissed Lupis on the head. Strangely enough, he also glowed with the soul power, and his was sp bright it was almost hard to look at.
((wow the new outfit looks great Oo))

"Hmph..stupid boy..any good swordsman knows to never let your guard down." Alexander swung his blade, the blood from Shepard being thrown from the blade and onto the grass, killing it almost instantly it would seem.
Alexander was abit taken by surprise however by the storm..something was not right...He took a few precautionary steps back and looked over at Gordon as the bolt of lightning hit him. "Heh well well..it seems the real fight is about to begin.."

Kurtis stepped up to the small cottage. Upon seeing the bright flowers he knew this was lupis work. These flowers seemed to be smiling, just like the flowers back in Lupis place. Kurtis moved foreward but stoped as the angel stepped out of the home to kiss Lupis..this was a high angel..a seraphim..one of the highest ranking angels..it had to be..his aura was much to bright to be anything else. However Kurtis was sure that even he could not interfere in this memory and stepped closer. Moving threw the gate and over towards the two.

When the dust cleared Gordon there. His hair had turned a dark red. His eyes seemed to be tainted a bit with chaos energy but his puipls where visible. He had three spikes emerging benath both arms. He looked at Alexander with complete disgust but stood there offering up no defense. He just stood there taking in all this new power.

Alexander looked at this creature and gauged its strength. Obviously it was strong but he was sure that he didn't know how to control such strength. Which could be an asset for him. "My my you seem to have more of a backbone now. No matter though, I'll be sure to kill you just as I killed your cousin."
Alexander wasted no time in rushing towards this new version of Gordon. Blade in hand as he lept to the side and swung the blade at Gordons side, hoping to give him a good deep wound.

The angel's head snapped up. On a lesser being the look on his face would have been interpreted as a scowl. Kurtis also looked up. A faint frown creased her features. "Who is that?" She asked, turning towards the ange. "And what is he doing here?" She looked at him again, and while there was a slight flicker of recognition crossed her face she made no move towards them. "No one important dear, why don't you go inside with Demetrius?" The angel replied. As he stooped down to kiss her on the forehead his eyes never left Kurtis'. Lupis looked about to refuse, but seeing the look on his face thought better of it. She went inside. The angel turned towards Kurtis. "I see, so I suppose it was the changeling who brought you here? He always had a love of mischief." His voice seemed to boom with power, making it hurt to hear. "Yet you are wasting your time. I am not about to let her go, not after what you did." he looked at him square on, the power in the angle's eyes spilling over.
"Now now thats no fun. Really I expected something more, like a fight to the death or an emotional prose of some sort, about your undying love for her and how she is like a rose to you. And Kurtis dear, you are no fun. You should have snuck in the back and swept Lupis up in your arms. Thats how they do it in all the novels anywho." In a tree the changeling sat, in his wildcat form. A feral face grinned with sharp teeth down at them.

"Unlike you I am not a brute and would never take a woman against her will. All I want is to get to the bottom of this however you intend to make that increasingly difficult don't you?" Kurtis said as he looked up at the changling. Turning his attention back to the angel before him.
"Please I do not mean any harm. You must be the man Lupis told me about..the angel who showed her what a good life could be? I can see that she is still threatened, she's afraid of all that being taken away. My name is Kurtis, it is a pleasure to meet you." Kurtis held his hand out towards the angel in a friendly fashion. Wanting to do this in a civilized manner. He didn't want to upset Lupis afterall.

The angel looked at the hand, somewhat amused. "I would shake your hand, but I'm afraid my pure energy would hurt you. I go by many names, but you may call me Lucius." He bowed his head ever slightly. "And it will do you no good to spite the changeling. However you may not like it, he is as much as part of Lupis as her powers, he is just usually only expressed through her eyes." The changeling rolled his eyes. "Thats what I've been trying to tell him this whole time. Rock headed lots these humans are. I don't see why you came down here in the first place."
The angel looked at the changeling. "That is enough." Surpisingly, he obeyed. "As for your wish, I am afraid I cannot let her go. In her mind she is safe and free from the hate and fear you have unleased. Outside she will go mad. The only way she could sustain herself with control of her body is I were erase the cause of the trauma. And I don't just mean that moment. I would have to erase all memory of you." He looked at Kurtis, golden eyes like his sister boring down into his, demanding he realize fully what his actions has caused.

"I did not mean any harm to Lupis however I still believe she must come to terms with what has happened. I know she is strong and she can only gain a true happy life if she understands the past and realizes that the past is the past. Though some scars never heal this is something she must do to truely be free. She cannot hide here within her mind. It may seem safe but it is nothing more then a lie she is living! Pain and sorrow is something everyone must go threw, unfortunatly Lupis had a bigger dose of this then most. However life is about change..coping with the past that haunts you and turning it into something better. You cannot honestly believe that her staying here will solve anything do you? You are an angel so please think about this logically. I know Lupis means alot to you, you ment alot to her as well. However this one happy moment will not last forever. Something bad will happen in her mind and Lupis will completely loose herself. In that instant she will become nothing more then a shell..her mind will slowly wither and die. You must know that..." Kurtis pleaded.

The angel grabbed Kurtis beneath his chin and forced him to gaze at the angel. "What can you possible know about the pain and suffering Lupis went through? You weren't there to heal her wounds, you weren't there when she was nearly fully gone, you weren't the one to nurse her back to health. I was the one who put the light back into her eyes. Selfish? Perhaps I am. But I have every right to be. And you? What did you do? If you truly want her back, you will have to pay the price." he stood up, his power spilling out and enveloping Kurtis, getting him to buckle his knees and bow down to the awesome being.

Kurtis growled as his neck was grabbed. His neck feeling as if it was on fire from the awesome power of the angel. The pure energy making him fall onto his knee's. Kurtis looked up at him..he had to fight for Lupis sake. "I am a man of God, I have seen horrors, true I have not see all that Lupis has..I have not encountered all she has..but I stand by my thoughts on the subject. If I must pay the price to see Lupis smile then I will gladly do so. She has been miserable since you left her alone, I've tried to make her happy but all her smiles are not completely true to how she is feeling. I would die a happy man just to see her smile with pure and utter happiness and joy."
