Maeniel laughed abit and replied, "great never been better, so why are you so down when you'r so up there," he finished and laughed to himself. The headache was there again and was harder than lightenning striking and thunder blasting. Maeniel shook it off and smiled, "I give you my word as a wolf that I wont eat you kitty, just come down here and share a laugh or two with a drunk with a headache.

Kana let a small frown pass over her face as she heard him. Drunk, a wolf, and with a headache? That didn't sound very safe to her. She'd learned not to trust wolves after being attacked by them so often. Even at Ria, one who'd promised not to hurt her had ended up nearly killing her. But despite this, Kana reluctantly nodded her head and climbed down a few branches until she came to one of the lowest ones in the tree, right above him. She just couldn't resist finding out what was wrong. "Why do you smell like blood?" she asked, watching him uncertainly. She was rather tense, as if ready to spring away at any second.
She was small, only five feet, five inches in height. Most everyone she met seemed to dwarf her in size, so for now she'd make herself feel a little more comfortable by staying above him, if that made any sense..

Maeniel smiled and popped his neck, "just got into a fight with another wolf is all," he said revealing his clawed arm and his cracked head, "my friend was the wolf who fought me and he won," he said laughing abit. "I understand it if you dont completely trust me, after all I am a wolf, but not all of us are bad you know," he shook his head in denial, the headache was leaving him now. "There are the bad ones that mess it up fr us good ones," he said looked about the courtyard, "and besides, we dont attack humans or cats unless we are starving, or just being assholes," he added. Maeniel looked back to the girl sitting on the lowest branch, "at least you were kind enough to come down to the lowest branch so we could talk," he finished and smiled to her a happy warming smile.

Kana listened quietly, ears starting to perk rather than flatten back so much. She watched him in confusion for a couple seconds and then slowly rolled off the branch, landing on her bare feet in front of him. He seemed nicer than the wolf at Ria... "You're not starving, are you?" she asked, her eyes upon his injured arm. "And is your headache making you an a*****e?" She blinked, and began to reach her hand towards his arm, but stopped abruptly and dropped it back to her side. Some wolves had superiority complexes over cats, she'd found, and didn't like to be touched by them, even if the cat was only meaning to help. She had quite a few scars to prove that...

Maeniel laughed, "well Im an a*****e anyways without the headache but it is fading still and I give you my loyalty as a wolf I wont bite you. No im not hungry either," he added and laughed abit more. "You could punch the hell out of my and I still would hurt you kitty," he said noticing her gesture of her arm and hand. His headache had faded now and he was clearing his thoughts.

Kana watched him uncertainly, and then slowly nodded her head. "Ok.." she said quietly and then frowned, waving a finger as if scolding him. "You better not be lying!" Though, she really had no threat to back that up. He was larger than her and she knew it. If anything, she'd just fly away and that would be that. She blinked, and tilted her head slightly. "Nya? Why would I punch you?" She actually seemed confused at the thought. Why would she ever do that?

Maeiniel laughed again, he was getting to fond of laughter lately and it was probably anoying to hear a half drunk wolf laugh, "I'm not lying. I saw your gesture of your hand, obviously you have run into an a** hole lately, a wolf no doubt. Im sorry my kind is sometimes like that but it isnt your fault, we just are territorial and prideful bastards and it gets in the way sometime," he finished and shook his head, "I have lived long enough not to do that at all, my pride was torn anyway," he finished again but with a somber laugh.

"Eh?" Kana blinked, staring at him for a second. "I-I wasn't going to hit you! I was just going to..." She trailed off slightly, staring at the scratches on his arm again for a moment. "I was going to.. see if you were alright." But then she frowned slightly, glancing back up at him. "Your.. pride?" She blinked again, biting her lower lip. This guy was slightly confusing. Though, maybe she was just clueless..

Maeniel looked up to the girl now instead of leaving his head down, "No i didnt mean that it looked like you were going to hit me, I meant it looked as if you were curious and then stopped ursef," he shook his head and added, "and my pride as a wolf was torn when I became a lone wolf, as are most of my kind now." Maeniel scratched his head and shook it in shame, "it will always be a burdon caus eI let it."

Kana blinked a couple times, staring at him silently. "...oh." Her head was spinning though. A lot had just happend, and now she was confused as well. Being alone was a bad thing? So she should feel like her pride was torn as well? Since she was alone too... She frowned slightly. Those back home had always attacked her in packs, the jerks... "There's nothing wrong with being alone!" she protested suddenly.

Maeniel shook his head in denial and looked into her eyes, searching, "yes there is, being alone makes you vulnerabl almost as being with someone, it shows that no one cares for you enough to fight or stand for you...It shows that you are full of pride, so you need some one near you who is at least a friend to pull you up when you are down so you dont turn cold," he finished and coughed abit.

Kana stared at him in silence, her eyes going wide. There was that much wrong with being alone? That was.. that was horrible! She was horrible! She bit down on her lip a little harder, ears drooping almost flat against her head. "No one cares for me..." she whimpered quietly, voice barely a whisper. She should've realized it sooner. That's why she'd been attacked all the time, that's why that guy had just shouted at her to go away, and that's why no one from Ria had cared enough to follow her here. She was annoying and no one wanted her around... She snifflled, fighting back tears as she crouched down, hugging her legs to her chest.

Maeniel stood up and walked to the girl, sitting down with her, "hey I didnt mean it in a bad way, I am half drunk remember," he said feeling bad that this girl was about to cry and fighting it back. "I dont think you're annoying if that helps, I think you're alright. and Ill be your friend if you'd have me as one," he said trying to smile and hopefully cheer her up.

Kana blinked a couple times and then wiped at her eyes, trying to remove all tears before they managed to fall. She slowly looked up at him, silent for a moment. One ear had perked about halfway to better hear what he was saying, the other still drooping against her head. "Really?" she said quietly. "It won't turn out like... I see you now and then.. never again, will it?" That seemed to happen a lot with her, for some reason.

Maeniel shook his head and smild, "of course not, when ever you want me to show just call my name and I will appear soon, " he said as he extended a hand flatly to her, "my name is Maeniel by the way, and yours sweet kitty is?" He was always a gentlemen of old fetions, chivalrous especially around any female species. "I will be your friend and see you often as you like as long as you want," he finished smiling.
