A dark-skinned man with purple eyes and wearing mostly white, due to the seasonal temperatures of the Isle de Gambino, was seen walking around, inquiring about where exactly a blonde-haired woman with an odd 'feel' to her was staying. It wasn't like he could do anything else, though his other persona definitely knew where she was.
The only answer he got was "There are a lot of people like that."
Of course, he stopped at a hotel and got himself a room for a few days, fortunate that he had told Adele to hold his calls due to a meeting. She did so of course, without asking why.
Sighing to himself, he wondered where exactly the person he was looking for was on the island, but then shrugged to himself and said, "I suppose she'll find me if I can't find her. Look for something when you don't expect to find it, and it will come to you."
With that, he lay down on one of the two beds in the room and closed his eyes. Sleep? No, too early for that. He was just relaxing, that was all.

A bell-hop knocked at the door to Evan's room, he had a silver tray with a business card for a restaurant a few blocks away and a little gold satin bag with a blank rune stone within, a symbol that Hugin would likely recognise as the Unknowable
On the back of the card was a table number and 7pm...Verdandi had found him, and was looking for a very public first meeting apparently.

Nnnn... the Unknown. Odin's Rune. Indeed, this is her.
Evan nodded to himself without response. Well then, it looked like he would have to get something dinner-worthy ready for seven in the evening. Fortunately for him, he had packed for his trip. Looking over at the as-yet unpacked suitcase next to his bed, he sighed.
He would be here for a while, trying to figure out what her game was. Of course, the Raven had probably already intuited it long before Evan himself had come here, but he still wanted to know. So he began unpacking, pulling out his best formal outfit, and prayed that this wouldn't give him as much of a headache as Lady Raven's clues had.

6:50pm, Table 13 overlooking the ocean. The sea was painted a brilliant mix of orange and dark blue as the waves rolled off in the distance.
A tall woman sat alone at the table, her long red hair was coiled up on her head in an elaborate weaving of thin braids that all appeared to be held in place by a single silver hair pin with a large opal at the top. Her attention was on the landscape outside and she had her back to the room revealing the twin serpents twined around the winged staff tattoo across her back, the bottom of the staff disappearing below the curved back of the dark green satin gown she was wearing.
There were opal drops in her long pointed ears and a thin silver chain was draped around her long neck with another opal resting against her lightly tanned skin. Grace absently traced the gold Ankh tattoo on the back of her right hand as she waited, 'Andi had disappeared on her again saying something about being back soon... but there was a third seat at the table, and that had the elf quite worried.

Of course, it was so like Evan to arrive ten minutes early, just because he did not like keeping people waiting. He took a look at the woman in greens and golds, and asked himself if that was Verandi. Approximately a tenth of a second later, he had his answer. No, it was not, because Verandi would have sensed him coming the moment he entered the restaurant.
Good boy- you are learning.
"Excuse me," he called out as he approached the table, "I was invited here by a friend of mine- is this the table?"

Grace blinked Green-gray eyes and looked up at the man with a smile. "Most likely...My friend has a very bad habit of throwing people together without bothering to make proper introductions..." She held out her hand as she mentally cursed 'Andi again.
"I am Grace Brigid Sirona..." It was not an elven name, and yet that was quite obviously what the woman was...

Well, he could see that. He extended his own hand and shook hers.
"Evan White. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, for however long that may last." With that, he took his seat and opened a menu. "So then, where is our hostess anyway? Not like the one throwing a party to be fashionably late, after all."
Not to mention rude, but he wouldn't say that. Besides, Hugin knew what was going on. Or at least, Evan hoped he did.

" 'Andi is incapable of being late..." Grace chuckled softly and sipped at a glass of wine. "At least in the way that she views things...whenever she chooses to appear it will be at exactly the right time as far as she is concerned!"
"We could likely order and expect her to show up for desert..."

"Which would probably mean that she likes her sweets first and food later," he said with a chuckle. "Well then, let's test that out, shall we?"
He flagged down a waiter and ordered his selection and a good red wine to go with it. While waiting for his newfound friend to do so, he made a comment about the tattoo on her back. "You're a healer of some sort, aren't you? The ankh on your hand has some kind of ability too, I suspect."

Grace placed her order as well before she replied "I am a healer in the ways of my people, and the Ankh is mostly a reminder... or so 'Andi keeps telling me." Grace blushed slightly.
"And what do you do Mr. White?" She couldn't help but to wonder why Verdandi had decided to throw them both together.

Evan didn't exactly want to say what he did- there were too many things to list. He shrugged and said, "I'm a collector of sorts. Rare things that no one else has or someone else wants, I find and I sell. That's a rather humble lifestyle, but it's enough for me."
Of course, he wouldn't say that he also made some of these rare and difficult to find things, or that he was in charge of a company that had offices in three cities already, with plans to expand to a fourth. She didn't need to know all that, now did she?

Grace thought that over for a moment, and read quite a bit between the lines..."That sounds a bit like what I always thought 'Andi did, now I am not so certain about what she does.. besides annoy the hell out of people!" xp
"That is uncharitable of you Grace..." The blond woman did not bother to walk into the room, she simply appeared in the open seat. Verdandi was dressed all in white again, an elegant cocktail style gown with tiny gold vines embroidered all along the light silk.
There were white gold combs holding the soft curls of her short golden blond hair back from her face, an old fashioned gold torque around her neck and a matching armband on her left arm, her nails were painted a bright white with ting gold vines tracing along the edges...the only blemish in her gold and white color scheme was a pair of dark glasses... "You know that I always try to be the comic relief in a situation... not annoying!"

What the hell? How did she...
He didn't even sense her arrival, when he should have. How did that happen? No matter, this was the one he was looking for, all right. Hugin's senses were more expansive than his, but even then it was only a split second before she simply popped up that he knew she was going to be there.
Evan cleared himself of the momentary shock and introduced himself.
"Evan White- nice to meet you. We were just ordering- did you want something?"

"Verandi....it is nice to meet you at long last!" She held out a manicured hand in his direction as she introduced herself.
"I'll just have a water for now, thank you."
Grace shook her head as 'Andi pulled her favorite prank and appeared out of nowhere. "Why are you wearing those old things 'Andi? they look completely out of place!"
"Because they keep the poor ordinary people from asking me silly questions.. like if I would like to see a menu, or if I can see the boat out on the water.. it tends to get a little boring to explain that I can not!" sweatdrop 'Andi smiled sardonically towards her companion and simply shrugged.

What is this- she can't see? Is she blind or something?
Evan shook his head as he extended his hand to shake her own. It sure as hell didn't seem like she was blind. Maybe Hugin was in league with a crazy lady; not like everyone else he was friends with wasn't crazy. Then again, he had gotten used to it by now.
"So then, I trust we're going to get down to the reason why we're here?"
Hugin was waiting patiently. He already knew that she was blind. The Norns were always blind without the Eye of Odin. The reason she had them here was because she had things to tell them- important things. Hopefully, one of those things would be how to fix the wires that had come loose in the inner workings of his mind. He was slowly trying to fix them himself- hence why he had created the seperate identity in the same body.
But it was a slow process. Someone needed to give him some aid, and quickly. If there were anything else she had to say, he would be listening for it as well. Then again, the Norns were difficult to figure out...
