Lonewolf let out a sigh, obviously irritated by the bombardment of questions Oric had just thrown at him. The mention of him being in a book didn't surprise him at all due to the fact he was, indeed, a legend. If it weren't for him and his dragoons, the island of Croatia would've never been a safe place to live. Lonewolf nodded in response.
"Yes, I am the one you speak of. For your first two questions, my answer is yes. Relena is the queen of the vampire kingdom that resides on this island and was also Ocarina's lover at one point. A guild is a place where many people join together as one. Kind of like a really big family."
Lonewolf kneeled down and picked Violet up and put her on his shoulder. "I'd advise you to keep training, kid..." He began, changing the subject. "There is going to be a fighting tournament pretty soon, and we're all going to need as much help as we can possibly get. This is the real thing, kid. Either we win this tournament, or face a life of slavery under the poeple who will be running the tournament." He turned to walk away, but before leaving the clearing, his head turned to the side.
"You have Ocarina's blood in you. I can tell. Don't let that kind of power go to waste." He walked away, heading back to his cabin.

Oric stared as the man walked away. "Wow... I met a legend. cool! I barely start my journey and I meet a legend, and get a compliment blaugh ... I hope I don't have to fight everyone I meet." sweatdrop Oric put everything of his away and returned to his travel west. As he made progress, Oric's adrenaline wore off, and the pain from Lonewolf's headbutt and the exustiion from the fight set in, but it took about two hours for it to set in. "Wow, I'm tired all of a sudden. And my head hurts." Oric sat down against a tree. He pulled off the cap fro his water canteen and drank some pure river water. "Wah, that's much better."

A few hours later
Lonewolf had finally arrived at his cabin. He was completely exhausted.
"Perhaps that little scuffle with that kid wasn't such a good idea." He was ready to collapse as he entered the doorway to his cabin. He paused a moment as he saw the large hole where his window used to be in the living room. Memories of a demon breaking through that window flashed through his mind. He remembered his faithful pet Locke who was poisoned by the demon's vomit.....Locke..!
"Where is Locke anyway?" Lonewolf mused aloud as he searched the cabin. He had not seen him ever since he broke out of that dungeon in Arianna's castle. "Locke! Here boy!" He called inside at first, then called outside the cabin. No answer.
Suddenly, out from behind a far tree, Locke stumbled through the forest brush. Pausing for a moment to cough up blood and red chunks of his insides. "Locke..." Lonewolf walked over to aid his pet wolf. It was whining quietly, obviously in excrutiating pain. Lone picked up his pet and brought him inside the cabin. He set Locke down on his couch and began to make a fire. He had to use wine to poor onto the logs in the fireplace and start a fire using two stones by knocking them together since he had no matches and used to always just make a fire with magic. However, since he was stripped of his powers, he had to do it the hard way. He finally got a fire going and sat down in a chair opposite of Locke. He knew there was nothing he could do for his old friend. He was going to die a very slow and painful death.
He silently pondered to himself as he tapped his index finger atop one of his 45 magnums on a night table beside him.

Violet hugged her friend's long snout, stroking at his fur as he whined. She could tell what Lonewolf was thinking, but didn't want to believe it. In all the chaos, she had completely forgotten what they had to do to cure him, if there was a cure? How unfortunate, how ironic, that Master should find out the killer of his teacher, Locke, and lose his beloved companion, Locke, in such a short timeframe. She wondered what she could do to help him, an electrical shock, a medicine she could find, someone she could call? Or would she have to say her goodbyes. It was strange, she wanted to cry, but her false body wouldn't let her. Instead she feigned a smile for Locke and her Master, and continued to rub behind the wolf's ear.

((I got the hint))
Relena rode through the forest that was a natural barrier between the ruins and the city. She could feel Saria doing her job and smiled. She was to much like her when she was younger. Full of fire and not enough time let it lose. "Saria, Saria." The smell of wolf blood was caught by her heighten sense of smell suddenly. The smell of the wolf had her remembering when her old friend Lonewolf was terribly wounded and she had to heal him. She pulled back on the reins and the horse skidded to a stop on hing legs, whining at her sudden action. Relena rolled her eyes...she missed Pegasus. She straighten in the saddle and looked at a cabin about hundrend yards from her current position. "A cabin all the way out here?"

Lonewolf heard hoofsteps in the forest. He picked up his magnum from the night table and stood up to look out his window. He saw a woman atop a horse not far from his cabin. "What the..?" He noticed the pale skin...the red eyes...the silver hair...
"Hmph." He holstered his gun and stepped outside the large hole in his wall. He knew exactly who the woman was, though he wasn't very pleased to see her.

((What did Relena do to Lonewolf?))
Relena nearly fell out of the saddle with she saw Lonewolf himself step of the cabin. The only thing that kept her seated was the look on his face. Pure... Relena frowned at the look and decided it was not a good time. "It is good to see you again Lonewolf. I am glad you are well but it seem that now is...." Relena cut herself off knowing she couldn't find the right words to help the situation. So she nodded her respect, turned her horse around, and began to head off.

Lonewolf raised an eyebrow as Relena trotted away on her horse. He didn't care and turned to walk back into his cabin.
So...the vampire queen still lives. Not surprising. He thought to himself.
As he entered the cabin he sat back down on the chair he was sitting on before. The huge hole in his wall annoyed him emencely. He wanted to fix the wall with his mending spell, but since his powers were taken he could not fix it. Oh well. He enjoyed the forest breeze. His attention turned back to Locke. He clentched his fist. He wanted to help Locke somehow, but did not know how. He silently vowed that he would save his dying pet somehow.

Oric continued to walk west, not sure what to expect, but hopefully not another fight. He was still a little sore from the first one. "Man Muchie, I'm tired. I've been walking for hours, and still nothing but forest. But that guy said the 'city' was this way. I gotta be getting clsoe right?" Oric and Muchie sharde ramblings and squeaks for a while, before coming to a bush full of berries. "Muchie! Snack time! Oric and the mosue sat down and began to pick at the forest's humble snack for them.

Violet peeked out from her spot to see the shadowy figure. Wait! She knew her!
"Relena!" The vampiress had turned her horse around and was leaving, but why? "Wait! Relena! Come back!" Violet ran after the old friend to the dragoons, but stumbled over a rock and lay face down in the mud. "Eww..." Her little fingers squeezed at the earth beneath her, maybe Relena could help? "Relena! Please! Come back!"

Relena was there in an instance by Violet side. She picked up the little being gently and cleaned her up as she sat her in palm. "It good to see you to Violet. I am surprised you remember me." Sadly Violet was one of the dragoons that Relena had the lease amount time with in the past. Something she was hoping that coud be resolved in the future. "Now what is all this fuss over?" She gave a kind look at Violet, warming her palm dry her wet clothing and to warm her. It seem Violet was more welcoming that Lonewolf. She wondered what had made her oldest friend, ally, and leader so unhappy and mad. Relena looked at Lonewolf as she straighten and silently asked for his permission stay and talk with a nod of her head.

Lonewolf nodded back without saying anything. His eyes were still fixed on his wolf.

Relena entered the cabin and took a stand opposite of Lonewolf. She gazed down at the dieing wolf and frowned. She placed Violet on the table next to the wolf and looked up at Lonewolf. "I can help..."
((I know you said no...but it Relena...she asks anyway.))

"Go ahead in try it." Said Lonewolf, unamused. He had tried several times before in healing Locke with magic, but nothing seemed to work. It merely just delayed the inevitable. It was some kind of strange unknown poison that normal antidotes could not cure. More like a disease really. Kind of like a fast-paced cancer.

Relena placed her hand on the wolf's forehead, giving it a light rub. "Easy..." Her other hand went to the wolf's stomach and soon a hum filled the room as a white glow consumed her hands. She keep her eyes on the wolf's face trying to calm some of it worries. Slowly a frown, once again, formed on her face as she looked up at Lonewolf. The damage was to severe, even for her. "I can stop the pain but that is all I can do." She moved her hands over the body until both came to rest over the chest. Her expression hard for a second. "It's a rare posion that I have not seen in many thousands of years. I am afraid no cure has been made for it." She looked back at Lonewolf. "I can end the pain so he doesn't have to suffer anymore."
