Naruto sits up, leaning back on one hand and rubbing his head with the other, looking embarrassed and sheepish, "Yea, I'm ok..." he says softly, his face red. He looks up and ahead into the forest and spies what seems to be a cave through the trees, "Hey, a cave!!!" he says, pointing to it, forgetting about his fall.

Almost on eye level with him, Rikku follows his indication. "oh! Yes! A cave! Let's go explore it, Naruto!" Then as if having second thoughts, The Al Bhed pauses. "But let me cure you first... just in case."
Not waiting for an answer Rikku activated her white mage sphere & cast a party heal quickly. Then she changed back, shouldering her gun once more. She grinned.

Naruto wonders how she can do that so quickly, but decides not to ask. He quickly stands up and helps Rikku up. He gently drags her toward the cave and steps from the forest into a clearing. He perks his ears, trying to catch any sounds that will indicate something is there that might be a threat, but not catching anything, he approachs the cave.

Not being one to wait back, Rikku bounces forward. She is also listening & watching... just not perhaps as intently as her companion. But then fiends tended to be rather upfront when encountered.
Aiming her gun into the cave she peered inside. "ooo! Dark!"

Naruto follows after her, stepping into the cave as he looks around it cautiously, "Sure seems big..." he says softly, his voice echoing, meaning that this cave went deeper. He quickly checked the ground for tracks of any kind, last thing he wanted was for him and Rikku to run into some large creature that made this place it's home.

Rikku shrugged, not really overwhelmed with the size of the cave after her adventures. Nor really scared of a beast, for fiends were relatively simple to battle. No... what had her nearly shaking in her blue & yellow ankle boots was remembering the Den of Woe at Mushroom Rock Road. The Al Bhed knew most caves were perfectly normal, but ever since Yuna had told her about having to fight friends in the Den of Woe... well let us just say Rikku did not want to fight her friends.
Keeping her brave front She snatched Naruto's hand with her free one & grinned boldly. There were no doors, & if the could go in together it would be fine.
"Wanna check it out?"

Naruto decided to be a little more cautious when checking out the entrance of the cave. He didn't see any tracks that would indicate any large creatures, like a bear, lived there, but he couldn't be too sure what lived deeper into the cave. But when Rikku tugs on his hand and asks if they can go in deeper, he nods, not wanting to ruin their little vacation over his paranoia. He lets her drag him along, but is ready to snatch the blade off his arm or any other weapons concealed in his pants.

She walked cautiously, gripping her gun & Naruto's hand tightly. The cave opened up a bit and as Rikku looked around she noticed that it was getting pretty dark inside. The light from the entrance penetrated the gloom a bit, but Rikku knew she could not see in the dark. She wondered if Naruto could. She really did not know much about ninja powers or jitsu.
As she was about to suggest they return with some lights her stomach rumbled, echoing a bit in the cave & she giggled. Sheepishly Rikku shifted her eyes to Naruto, finding too much humor in her hunger to speak.

Naruto didn't like that fact it was getting darker the further they travelled in. He was about to see if Rikku wanted to go back when he heard her stomach and he can't help but chuckle, "Come on, lets go back to camp and get some lunch or something! Shouldn't take us too long to fix some ramen up!" he says in excitement, the prospect of having a few cups of ramen making his mouth water.

At this point, ramen sounded wonderful to the hungry female. She giggled again. Turning around to the light Rikku tugged playfully on his hand. "Which is a good thing, 'cause now that I'm thinking about it I'm plenty hungry!"
She gave him a little wink. "I might even be able to match you with ramen eating for once!"

Naruto laughs, his voice echoing as he leads her this time, out of the cave. "We shall see about that!" he declares. He sheilds his eyes for a second when they step back outside and he makes his way through the forest, his hand still holding Rikku's

She laughs, skipping a bit to keep up. "I'd challenge you, but I know I can't beat you when it comes to ramen!!! But I might this time be able to keep up!"
They certainly were heading back faster then they had been exploring earlier. Rikku did not mind in the least. Especially as her tummy rumbled its unhappiness at being empty again.

Naruto's ear flicks as he hears her stomach growl again and he can feel his own stomach start to respond back. He quickens the pace, seeing their campsite through the forest and he is glad they were able to get back so quickly, he wanted to dig into some ramen, like right now!

Rikku squeezes Naruto's hand with a smile, understanding how he loves his ramen. She starts to jog a little faster. "I'll get the fire back up if you get the water!"
Might as well save time by knowing who will be doing what when they get there.

Naruto nods, "Sure thing!" he says. When they finally break through the forest and get back to camp, he goes to the fire pit and grabs the pot they used earlier. He goes to the lake and dumps the used water on the sure, but kneels down to fill it with fresh water from the lake. Heading back over, he hands Rikku the pot and goes back into the tent to get the cups of ramen out, feeling a breeze pass by him, causing him to shiver a little.
