Kyraa thought a moment. "Well, adventure wise, The search for Mod is a good one. And so is The Day of Wrath, but that's not fiction. A-hehe...." the girls hand ran through her crimson locks nervously.

Shinji sat down in the corner of the library to start glancing at The Search for Mod

Katane stumbles into the library and makes her way to the main desk. Cryllia wasn't there - perhaps she was somewhere among the shelves. In her spidery handwriting, Katane wrote a quick note on a slip of paper and left it on the desk.
"Cryllia - I need a job. Experience as Page: Can shelve, sort, tidy, help patrons. Know Dewey Decimal System by heart. If you have any positions open, please let me know. -Kat"
So tired.
A lounge chair caught her eye, and she walked towards it, grabbing a book, any book, off the shelf. She began reading, but it was so comfortable, she just needed to rest her eyes for a moment. I'll be up in a moment....

Emerging from the back office, Cryllia smiled to see the teal-haired girl curled into a ball.
bending over the desk, she shook her head at all the work that needed to be done. On top, was the note Kat had left.
Hmmmm Cryl thought to herself. This could be useful - something tells me I'm going to be more busy than usual... Smiling she sat down at the main desk and began to work.

"Mhff"
What am I doing in this chair?
Why am I reading "Spot the Robo"?
Where am I?
Oh.
Katane yawned and stretched as memory returned to her. She got up to return the picture book to it's proper location. Lovingly, she straightened the brightly colored childrens books on the shelf so they were all straight an even. The row of books reminded her of a display at a candy store. So appealing. No wonder little kids grabbed them up.
Hearing a slight noise, she casually wandererd over to the front desk. She smiled openly when she saw Cryllia there.
"Good morning! Er, afternoon...."

"you know...." Cryllia said glancing at the wall where a window would be, "I'm not really sure what time it is... but Good day to you too!" She rises to actaully hug Kat, but ends up knocking a full pile of books over instead. "Um...." she adds looking at the mess. "I got your note.... how soon can you start?"

OOC: Yay for being back from the holiday break!
Katane shrugged nonchalantly and bent down to pick up the books.
"I could start today if you needed it. I've promoted a few assistents in my own book club, so there is much less demand on my time. I prefer to keep busy as much as possible and it would be nice to have some actual "elbow grease" work again."
She smiled apologetically, straightened up with her arms full.
"You may be good at it, but I find now joy in administrative jobs."

OOC: Yeay! and Happy New Year!
"Really?" She looks hopelessly at her desk. "And you enjoy it, huh? By all means! I'd love to havea worked to keep this place clean when I'm... away." She smiles.
ninja OOC: are you still participating in SoR or not? I'm so confused! LOL

An eyebrow arched at the implication of Cryllia's other activities, but other than that, Katane made no comment.
"Yeah, really! I'd be quite happy to keep this place in order. Is there anything special about the library's organization I should know before beginning work?"
ninja Not at the moment. I've sort of been kicked out by Kyraa, but I'm hoping it's temporary. I'd very much love to be RPing there again.

"Hmmm," Cryllia replies, thinking. "Two floors, standard dewey decimal. If you find any books that don't belong leave them on my desk in the back. We have a special collection behind it, but most people aren't allowed in there." She nods slightly, giving Katane the idea that she knew just who was allowed there.
ninja I think if you asked, she'd let you back in... : -P

"Gotcha. Okay, then I can get started. I'll put these away and then straighten up the Non-Fic. 100s-220s definately look like they could use some work."
Katane smiled nervously at the mention of the "special collection". That was work they had taken care of in the past, and she was more than ready to take on some new things.
"You look a little harried. Been Busy lately?"
ninja I will. Not now, but maybe soon.

"Great! Yeah - I don't get to non-fiction much. Ananel's been there too often." she shakes her head with a smile.
"More than usual you mean?" She grins, "A bit. Life has taken some interesting turns recently. Fortunately the paperwork here hasn't really piled up anymore...just the books. I'll be in my office taking care of this if you need me!"

Hmm. I need to return this magazine I got last year. Cryllia looks the type to use holy banishing spells, so I'd better be stealthy.
With this, William pointed away from the return desk, yelled "OMG Rommy is being attacked by the garden geese again!"
After they looked away, he snuck in and replaced the magzine.
Like a phantom...a SEXY phantom. he thought smugly.

OOC: omg! *dies laughing* that's hysterical!
Cryllia sticks her head out of her office just in time to see will replace the magazine. "Where? Quick, someone get the Camera! Wait - Will....don't you owe me something? You've been holding my mail for months now!"
