Well..
for me, it's more of a teacher-student thing.
Last year I suggested (as a joke) that we do POTO for our high school field show. We get the music this year, and I'm cast as Christine for a dance sequence because I thought of the idea. We're going by the origional play, and yeah.. the Drum Major is nothing compared to the origional Erik though...

You know you're obsessed when you start singing the songs WORD FOR WORD during school and then fantasize about being Christine in History...adn when you have your brother drawing random POTO doodles for you and then put it in your binder...

Unromantic_Phantom -The thought of being kidnapped by a guy dressed all in black and wearing a white mask is actually rather appealing. -You are planning to dress as Erik for Halloween despite being female -when you join a guild about the PotO -watch part of a PotO movie or listen to at least one song everyday

- you have a seperate folder of Phantom pics - you watched the movie like 5 times after your first time watching it then get the sound track cause your dad says he is starting to know every song. mrgreen - you make stuff like this :   mrgreen mrgreen

When for Crazy Day at school, you dress up as the phantom, with a mask, cloak, and rose, while everyone else puts their hair up around a bottle and wears mismatching socks.
I had SO many people scream when I passed them! It was HILARIOUS!

Once I evern sat there and watched it through TWICE in the same night. One right after the other. I'll even put the "All I ask of you" chapter on repeat on my SPECIAL EDITION DVD so I can hear the song over and over and over. Sad huh.
