...Let it Snow...Nana: Thanks, and thanks. <3 I'm really happy with this outfit except that there are no boots the right shade to go with this dress.
Thanks. I do feed him too, just not as often as others do. whee
Yeah, my hair gets lighter in the sun too. I think most people's hair does.
Granny D: thanks for stopping in. *hug*
Family's doing alright. Hubby was feeling well enough to go into work today. Yesterday when I woke him up (that never happens!) he had a fever of 102.7°F Got him some tylenol to bring down his fever and made him drink some green tea to settle his stomache.
The girls are getting excited for Christmas. They love their advent calanders. ^.^
Congrats! That's so exciting! 4laugh

Jen: I should have known... I see... So is that how it works then? Imagine that! Well, at least I can contribute in some way too. mrgreen Right, but the dress is sort of yer creation, isn't it? And Nina has good taste, I also like yer avatar's look with all that snow witch stuff it had on. Nina: Hey Nina, I bet you've seen that line about "banananana" and he also says he doesn't know where to stop. I was, how do the people of knuffel know Nina? lol Tnchi huh? I should look that up cuz I have never played that one. rolleyes GrannyD: So we have a new member here? Or is it a returning member I didn't know about? Nice to meetcha! mrgreen Question for all: At which age do girls, or women start carrying a purse? I'm just curious...

Yes, some of the item shadings are kind of odd, especially the white items. Makes it hard if you're trying to match.
Well, the son does bleach everything if you leave it out too long. Just, I spent so much time outdoors I was a little towhead. And the brown skin and eyes with it looked odd. blaugh
I've seen Brownnie's line. Anytime I see "banana-nana" anything it makes me pause now. xd
Yeah, you should watch Tenchi. For a harem anime (you know, one guy surrounded by lots of girls) it's pretty silly. But it also has a sci-fi twist, which is probably why I liked it.
Well the purse thing depends on the woman. Some girls start young carrying a little purse. Some girls never carry a purse unless it's a special occasion.
I use a purse now, but I didn't when I was in school. I just used my back pack to carry my stuff.

The son? Which son? Cuz I remember that Jen only has daughters, no son. Oh wait a sec! You mean the "SUN" son, right? Ok... sweatdrop
Makes you pause, you say? Funny... mrgreen
Well, the only harem anime I've seen (if it counts), is Love Hina and I saw it on Cartoon Network's Toonami line up. The CN we have around here is Latin America so it's different from the one you get up there in the states. I doubt I'm gonna be watching Tenchi but if I do, I'll let you know. 3nodding
I see... I'm told that the usual age to start carrying one is about 11 to 13. I was asking cuz I wasn't sure if a purse was a good gift for a growing girl or not. rolleyes Thanks for sharing! I was only curious about that subject... 3nodding Say, is it true that losing yer purse is kinda like losing yer life or something?

The son... d'oh! =P
Love Hina is the classic harem anime. It defined the "genre" from what I understand.
Now for anime you see there, is it as heavily edited as it is here in the states? Like our CN used to show Dragon Ball Z, and it had to edit out all the blood. Someone gets punched, and you see what looks like sweat flying off their face. blaugh (They did compromise with older viewer who complained, so the less editied episodes aired after midnight.)
Yeah, it totally depends on the girl. It might be a good gift. Maybe you should ask her mother? It might help.
Well, losing a purse is like loosing your wallet. I suppose it depends on what you keep on you. xd

He-he, that was funny, wasn't it? Really? Too bad I couldn't catch the very first episodes. I can't believe CNLA (Cartoon Network Latin America) hasn't put it on the line up again. rolleyes Hmm, I think our CN here does edit things out but not things like blood and such. They do edit things like private parts but not always. I've seen that in the early episodes of DB, Goku swims in his birthday suit and they don't blur our his lil thing. rolleyes However, they do edit out the part where Bulma gets felt up in the crotch by Guku cuz he rests his head in it just like he did with his grandpa. The scene ends up loosing all sense cuz you see them going to sleep and then you see Goku all freaked out about Bulma's balls being gone. Go figure... I know about this cuz I searched for the original scene on youtube. I finally made sense of things when I did... I see... Well, it's still a while till my niece grows up in need of a purse. But I still fail to see the comparison cuz I hardly carry a wallet at all. mrgreen

Hey everybody! I just came here to tell all of you that I just started to write more about my character of Kenshin Belmont and, if you wish to read about it, you can always visit his journal (this account's journal, that is). Thank you!

Haha, here in the US, they actually drew undies on Goku in Dragonball when he's running around naked. xd
It is pretty funny when they edit though. Because the scene will end up making no sense, and I'm left scratching my head.
How old is your niece?
As for the wallet, well I mean most people carry things like photographs, credit cards, some people are even silly enough to carry social security cards on them. Imagine the trouble you get into carrying all that around. blaugh
I'll check it out his journal. smile

Really? Ha-ha! That must be funny to see. I guess the folks in Japan get to see a lot of things, not only do they keep awesome videogames (usually), they also get their stuff unedited and sometimes it can be cool but, I bet sometimes it might not be as cool. Who knows...
As for my niece, she's barely a year and a half. I guess we won't have to worry about a lot of things just yet, huh? mrgreen
And yes, I can see how that can be a problem. 3nodding
Hey Nina! I see yer dressed as an orphan. Would you like me to adopt you for new year's and give ya some ratmeal and gruel? lol Ha-ha! I'm such a kiddder...
Great! I'll apreciate any comments you may have. wink
BTW, I wanted to ask about something but I'm not sure if I should... neutral
Oh and, Happy New Year's everybody!

Just to let you know there's a LOT going on iRL right now and my visits to Gaia will be spuratic and most likly brief. *huggles* I love you guys though and appreciate your friendship!
Hypno: Yes, I appreciate you helping feed Brownnie. <3
I don't konw about all women, but I started carrying around a purse when I was in middle school. The contents have changed many times since then, but that's when I did. Some women carry around large purses, some carry around small ones and there are those who don't even carry around a purse at all. Really it depends on the woman. My girls will sometimes like taking a purse with them because they want to mimic their mother, but they don't really have anything in it, unless they've gotten some money from someone. -·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·-:-·- If I were to lose my purse I would feel like I was loosing my life. I keep my money (including credit and bank cards in there, my check book, my drivers liscence, my cell phone (which is as much of a phone book as it is a phone xd ) and such.
Nana: There are a lot of different "whites" on Gaia. There are other colors though that are sometimes difficult to match up.

Hey Jen, it's no big deal, really. So you can't come often to Gaia, so what? We know that you have lots of responsibilities and that includes, what must be, a wonderful family. I'm sure Nina appreciates yer friendship just as much as I do. 3nodding I think it's safe to say we got lots of love for you too. And sure, I think it's my way of repaying you for all the things you've helped me with. Not to mention the things yer mom sends me from time to time. She's awesome! I'm hoping I can get Brownie to the top of the list one of these days. wink Hey that's interesting. I already imagined the purse wearing depended on the person. So yer girls do wear one on ocassion? That must be so cute, eh? Hmm, I suppose women do keep a lot of stuff in their purses, huh? It makes me wonder who invented them and why. After all, there are things that start out having one purpose and they change over time. And you know what's funny? I've never noticed all the "whites" here on Gaia. I guess us guys don't really notice stuff like that, right? mrgreen

Thanks. <3
Yeah, my mom is definetly awesome!
Yeah, they like to carry them sometimes, but it's a mimic thing–they want to be like mom– rather than because they have a real desire to carry a purse.
I carry a LOT of stuff in my purse. I always wonder how people can get away with the little ones. rolleyes *giggle*

Yer welcome! I meant every word. 3nodding I know! Yer so lucky to have her. Ha-ha, kids are something, aren't they? mrgreen So you wonder about the little ones huh? Maybe I can ask my aunt cuz she likes those. I think it must be cuz she doesn't carry that much stuff and she doesn't actually need to, you know? Say, has SK or one of yer girls ever asked you to put something of theirs in yer purse (even if it's for a little while)? I never would have guessed! I mean, you hear of all these colors that some TVs or whatever can display but you can't imagine them, really (or at least I can't). Wow Jen, those edits are amazing! Umm, I believe the ones on the left are you & SK while, the ones on the right are yer parents, right? Either that or it's supposed to be you and SK in the future. sweatdrop One question! Have yer girls started to learn how to swim yet or is there some sort of proper age thing?

Don't worry Jen. I'm in the same boat. I was really stressed out for a little there; that's why I haven't been on Gaia. sweatdrop
Now we're in the process of packing up to move, so I don't know how long I won't have internet for. Most likely we'll get it up as soon as possible. blaugh
Haha, the image of your little girls with purses so they can be l ike mommy is really cute.
