Sid relit the joint after a few failed attempts, he'd made it to the point where he could get it on the third try, another little bit of personal pride. He handed it over to Billy with only the smallest twinge of regret. Barely noticable even... he could get more, he could share... Sure.

Billy caved, leaning back to take in a deep, long hit, the smoke circling about his head as he slowly exhailed, "Feckin'.... Hell..." He managed to choke out hte words befor he was sent into a coughing fit.

"Aye," He weased, clearing his throat as he took a second, much smaller toke, "Aye... s'been a while..." He sniffed, face twitching as he offered the joint back up to the older man. "Here, me man..."

"Thanks." Sid carefully pinched the joint between two long fingers, and added another mark to the sink by putting the cigarette out. He almost giggled over the fact he was sharing a joint with an octopus, but the joint was wasting.

"Was more into hard stuff b'fer, really," Billy mumbled absently, leaning back comfortably. Just rest and you'll get your feet back. well, not literally, but he'd be able to crawl back down to his chair waiting for him. Eventually. "Been... tryin' t'go cold turkey since they turned this damn collar off."

"Tell me about it." He handed the joint off to Billy and stood to rummage through the medicine cabinet for something. He kept talking as he did, picking up and examining one thing after another as if just looking wasn't enough.
"I tried to go cold turkey from, like, everything a few years back. It was rough, but I made it... So it's good to know that I could do it again- if I wanted to."
He closed the cabinet after finding what he was looking for- a pair of tweezers. "But it's better like this. Easier... Nicer. I mean, cause it makes everything nice."
