Oh wow that is a tough one because I'd love to meet so many of them!
Hmm....I'd have to say...a tie between Phedre from the Kushiel's Dart series and....Louis the Vampire from Interview with the Vampire, just off the top of my head....
Phedre, I'd like to meet because of her strength and unique personality. Louis because he's just an amazing character throughout the series.
Sadly I think I've forgotten a great many of the books that I loved reading, just too many to keep track of! smile

Hmm, that's pretty good. We're getting some neat answers already.
As for me (to answer my own question), the characters I would like to meet, if possible, would be the following:
Spiderman; why? Cuz he was thought as just an ordinary guy who happened to get extraordinary powers without even wishing for them. I would like to be able to meet Stan Lee but it looks like time is not on my side on this one. mrgreen Batman; why? Not only do I like the whole nighttime crime fighting thing he has going but, he also was just an ordinary kid who got trained in an extreme way. Aside from all the years of training, the gadgets he uses are cool. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if someone in real life was actually like that. If I remember correctly, a man by the name of Robert Kane created Batman. I think he's not around anymore... sad

hypnocrown Well that sounds like a pretty good book if I may say so. So the humans were the pets, huh? Go figure! Anyways, I got a new question for this week: If you were able to actually meet yer favorite fictional character. Who would it be and why? Gosh! Too open ended! Sherlock Holmes would be fascinating and frustrating at the same time. Frodo and Bilboa Baggins for being so small and ordinary and yet rising to the occassion. and of course Samwise for being such a friend anyone would be lucky to have. Walker Boh for struggling through his conflicting emotions and accepting what needed to be, not necessarily what he wanted it to be. Drizzt for becoming so much despite (or maybe because of) his background and circumstances. I could go on and on!

hypnocrown Anyways, I got a new question for this week: If you were able to actually meet yer favorite fictional character. Who would it be and why? It's funny because when I first read that question my initial reaction was that I'd like to meet one of my ficitional characters (ya know like from stores I've written), but then I got thinking about it, and in a way I already do know them in real life. All of my main characters (including Char that I used here for RP) are a kind of outlet for certain aspects of my personality-hope that makes sense.
I still can't seem to come up with an answer to that question beyond this. Sorry.

That was pretty good Ms Jo, thanx for posting.
That's ok Jen, sometimes that's all it takes and I think I understand yer reasoning.

Ms Jo So which fictional character you have made up would you like to meet? You mean which facet of my personality personified would I like to meet? *giggles*
I don't know which of them I would meet. Some of them I think would be more fun than others.
Maybe Insead of one of the characters I write with I'd meet one that RP with, they're often less similar to myself.

Well I'm not sure exactly but it seemed to me that if one can RP well, one could have the basics needed to be either an actor or actress. Does that sound right to you? As for my characters, I feel like I know them so well already I don't have to meet any in real life. Still, if there was an actual person who was similar to any of my characters, I'd like to meet that person. As for acting... I'm not sure. It'd be nice to be able to act but I rather be able to direct and produce.

New Question of the week!
How many fantasy/medieval concepts have you seen with primates in them?
You can thank the new Gaia donation item for this question, he-he.
