'Dammit, this again,' thought Mamoru, 'This is what has always made us run in circles.' He looked over at Usagi who seemed truly moved by Mio's fake tears and lousy words. "Motoki, let's go!" he said, his low voice echoing in a demand. He turned to Kunzite, "Kun...Kuromori, I can trust her in your hands for a while? Ami," he turned to speak to the girl, "can I trust you too?" Makoto had run off somewhere so he assumed it was for a good reason. Grabbing on to Motoki's arm, he dragged him into the Crown so the outside conversation might actually go somewhere.
"Mamo-" Usagi called after her boyfriend as he dragged Motoki into the Crown. The tension was high and Usagi was more confused than the rest. Mio-chan...looked so weak, so helpless. Usagi shook her head and tried to remember all those times that Mio-chan was cruel to her. But as much as she tried that, the same scene of Mio-chan running towards her, shouting "Help me Usagi-chan!" always replayed in her mind. And of course, that was followed by the scene of her being destroyed by Metalia. "Mio..." Usagi stepped up and did something no one expected, "stop this. Leave us alone."

Babysitting the Princess was not what Kunzite had in mind, but he would follow his Master's orders. Besides, Mercury could take care of most of the watching while he handled Mio. Now with that civilian out of the way, Kunzite could get down to business.
"Mio, any business you have with my Master or the Princess, you can take up with me first." As he took a few steps in Mio's direction, Kunzite's disguised form of Kuromori Daitaro vanished, replaced by his natural appearance. His long black hair and circlet, Shitennou uniform, and sword in hand. It felt good to be back.
"Chotto matte yo! Mamoru, what's the big deal?" Motoki asked as he was dragged away. He wanted to talk to Kuroki-san a bit more, but he was already in the building before he had a chance.

Mio cocked her head to the side and smiled at Kunzite. "Pathetic. If you think the Prince and the Princess need to be protected, you will not realize your doom when it comes," she nearly spat at the man. All they thought about was the damned Princess and the Prince but not about saving themselves. Well, she would be there laughing smugly at Kunzite when he fell to Danburite.
"The Princess is worthless to the Dark Kingdom without the Ginzuishou," she added before turning to face Usagi. She gave a shrug to the girl before turning to look at Ami. "And so are the powerless Sailor Senshi."~*~ He had no time to react. It happened too quickly. Endymion had entered the Crown, dragging a hapless mortal fool behind him. Danburite could only back out of the way to avoid getting knocked into by the duo. He had promised Endymion's safety for the time being but he would surely reconsider his agreement if the man so much as touched him.~*~ Nephrite stared at Jadeite in astonishment. They were coming to check in on him?! He, the one who had been living as a normal human much longer than Jadeite AND Zoisite?!
"Do not check up on me!! How dare you treat me like some... some... mere child?!" he demanded, throwing his fierce glare in jadeite's direction as he spazzed on his comrade.

Master was back, and he had brought his friend with him. Dragged was more like it. He had walked right past Danburite, and Zoisite's old lover had done nothing but move out of the way, but he couldn't take any chances. As casually as he could, Zoisite moved to stand between his Master and Danburite while replying to Nephrite's outburst.
"Akihiko," he began, using Nephrite's Japanese name now that his boss was present. "Calm down, you misunderstood."
Looking out the door, Zoisite could sense that the energies outside the building had shifted. Something was going on out there and he had been too distracted inside to notice. "Chiba-san, is something wrong?" he asked.
If Mio spoke the truth about having no interest in the Princess, Kunzite's job just became a bit easier. "So, you are after my Master then? Predictable. You are just as obsessed with him as Beryl was." In a swift motion, Kunzite raised his sword and pointed it at the girl, smirking in his usual arrogant manner. He had never considered Mio to be a threat to him. "Now, because my Master would probably wish it, I am giving you one chance to walk away before I strike you down."

Jadeite was a little upset by Nephrite's attitude, but he decided that right now would not be a good time to get into an argument with Nephrite, especially now that he noticed that Master had come back and he looked like something might be wrong. He followed Zoisite's example and managed to reply calmly to Nephrite. "Akihiko, I apologize. I meant no offense by what I said." He then looked at the Master, concerned about what might be happening outside.

She gave a cold laugh as she eyed Kunzite. "Again, the Prince will be your downfall, just as it was in the past!" she told him, her voice equally as cold as her voice. She did, however, feel just a touch irritated by his remark. Though she had not directly said Mamoru was in no danger, she had hinted at it, had she not?
At any rate, she did not think Danburite could sneak out without Kunzite picking up on his power. She had to get him away from the Crown. That was her top priority. "If you wish to fight, why risk doing it here where innocent people could get hurt, Kunzite? You are a fool if you think you can kill me without people seeing and getting killed themselves."~*~ Nephrite just threw down the cleaning supplies he had been holding in a violent manner. He didn't care that Master or Motoki were watching him throw his tantrum. Muttering a few choice words at Zoisite and Jadeite, he shoved his way to the Crown's door to leave. "I'm taking my break!" he barked over his shoulder, not caring that he had not even been working for a long period of time.~*~ Danburite stepped out of Nephrite's way as the man stormed by. He casually looked over at Zoisite and raised an eyebrow. He had been witness to Nephrite's fits of rage before but in the past life they had not been as severe. They had all been happy then... or so he had thought. He had been happy until the wretched Moon Princess had come into Endymion's life and then his life spiralled downwards from there.

Ami grabbed Usagi's arm. "Usagi-chan let's go. Remember we have to go and help Rei. At the temple. Makoto we'll call you if we need your help also." Hopefully Makoto would get the hint to keep Mio distracted.
Ami smiled and bowed to Mio, Act natural. "Sorry that we can't stay and catch up, but we must go." She gently tugged of Usagi's arm. "Come Usagi-chan. The faster we get ther the faster we'll be done."
Though could she trust this man... 'Kun...Kuromori' Kun... "hmmm..."

Kunzite had noted Mercury and the Princess taking off before he transformed. 'The temple,' he thought, remembering it for later when he would relay the information to his Master.
Kunzite didn't particularly care where he took care of Mio, but if he could do so away from the Master, it would probably be better. Keep him out of harms way, and out of Kunzite's way.
...just as it was in the past! Kunzite's eyes narrowed at Mio. He had forgiven the Master for what had happened in the past. Endymion had redeemed himself in Kunzite's eyes, but that didn't mean he liked to be reminded of it. "Then why don't you pick a spot for us?" he asked. Of course she would pick somewhere strategically advantageous for herself, but that didn't bother Kunzite. He would have no trouble defeating this particular echo of the past.

"Anywhere away from Motoki-san's adorable little karaoke centre is fine," Mio said, having, very oddly, developed an interest in Motoki's invitation to sing there. It would be good for her image as a idol; therefore, she could not think to damage the building.
She turned quickly and skipped off, hoping to lead Kunzite on a wild goose chase away. She had no diea where she would end up but she knew she would just vanish once they were far anough away from Crown.
Meanwhile, Danburite moved further from Endymion and his Tennou. Once he had happily been part of the group but that time ws long gone. He would never forgive the king, Endymion, Jadeite, Serenity, Venus....
His fists clenched at the thought of Sailor Venus. She would pay for the past life just like the rest of them. She had had the power to keep Serenity away from Endymion, had she not? He would see that she would also pay for what she had done to him whether she remembered or not.
Turning, he decided to leave the building. He exited through the bottom set of doors and headed up the stairs just enough to see Mio running off, leaving Kunzite behind. Hopefully he would follow the woman. Kunzite would be harder to fool than Nephrite and Zoisite.

Kunzite rolled his eyes at Mio's overly cheerful disposition, but regardless followed her. Or he started to when he was suddenly hit with a powerful memory of the past and grimaced at the resulting headache. He reached a hand to his forehead in an futile attempt to dampen the sensation.
It was the past life. Kunzite was in the piano room of the earth palace. His hand was around Danburite's throat and he held the other man against one of the walls while Zoisite stood near-by, demanding an explanation.
Kunzite tried to focus on the present, and the girl who he was supposed to be following. Remembering that b*****d was the last thing Kunzite wanted to do. Lowing his hand and gripping his sword tightly, he continued to follow Mio. Danburite could continue to rot in whatever afterlife he had ended up in for all Kunzite cared.

"Urusai!" Mamoru yelled out at Motoki in a frustrated tone. He let go of his arm and suddenly felt very ashamed, it wasn't Motoki's fault. "Gomen...Motoki..." he muttered. Placing his hand on his forehead he looked up to see a man he had never seen the area before. He was familiar though, it's not like they've never met, Mamoru was sure of this. He looked at the man, sort of astonished like, just staring at him. 'Doushite? Naze? Why, why does he look familiar? Why do I feel like I know him? What's going on?' Mamoru thought, feeling his headache take over once again. He looked up as the man was leaving, shouting, "Matte!" as he turned his back.
Usagi was astonished by all of this. Yes, she no longer has the Ginzuishou. So now, why? What did they want with Mamoru? If she wasn't in danger, surely she could step up now. She no longer needed to be protected right. But, she was scared, always being supported before, but now, she needed to protect the people she loved. She continued listening to Kunzite's and Mio-chan's conversation and did not realize that she had left miutes later. "Naze? Naze?" she whispered. She turned to Ami-chan with sad, wide eyes. "Ami-chan..." she smiled, "I'm no longer a burden, I no longer need protection. We...we need to fight, we will fight, ne? Ne, Ami-chan!"

Speaking to Usagi in a hushed tone, Ami tried to convince the princess, "Usagi-chan, we never said that you were a burden. Your not. But it still is our duty to protect you. Since we don't have our powers the best way we can protect you is to get you out of the situation." Ami tried to pull on Usagi's arm a little harder. "Please Usagi-chan, we must go!"

"But...Mamoru!" Usagi yelled and looked through the doors of Crown Karaoke. She pouted a little and then turned to Ami-chan drooping her head a bit. She let Ami-chan pull her along and started walking with her. 'I hope you're ok, Mamoru...' she thought to herself worriedly.

Motoki was initially shocked by Mamoru's harsh tone, but easily forgave him when he apologized. Maybe Mamoru was just really tired? That would explain why he was acting so weird. "It's alright, Mamoru," he said as he turned to check on Kamekichi. "Maybe you just need to... Mamoru?" Mamoru hadn't even been listening. And who was this new person in Crown? Motoki had never seen him before.
The Master had noticed Danburite, and there had to have been some level of recognition since he was shouting at him to wait. Zoisite didn't know what do to. He wanted to keep his Master away from the other man, but at the same time, he didn't want to lie about who Danburite is or why the Master shouldn't go near him.
Danburite had promised not to hurt him, but how far could Zoisite trust him? He was an entirely different person now, one corrupted by evil, but some part of the old Danburite had to remain, didn't it? There had been a time when Zoisite would have trusted the man unconditionally.
He decided to stay close to the Master's side for now.
