Ryo turned to Natu, who was shrugging at the moment. Ryo nodded. "Well, I guess it's time for us to go. I'll see you later," Ryo said, looking over to the sunset, before running off. Natu followed him.

Many days had passed since when the family had left the park. Haku returned on a daily basis, hoping to find the disabled hououza again, and to try to find the source of his problems. Caeb himself had been little help, taking the food and retreating back to where he had made shelter. It took some doing, but Haku finally managed to track the boy's activities through the day.

It was difficult in that, for being blind, Caeb had both an acute sense of hearing, and some sort of esp, or could sense the presences of others. Haku had tried to be discreet, difficult due to the leaflitter on the ground and the fact he could not yet take to the air. He'd crack a leaf, and Caeb would spin around.
"Who's there?" He would ask, and Haku would hardly move, and they would remain this way for at least a half hour.

Caeb eventually would shuffle on, and Haku would attempt to follow him.
Once he succeeded in finding the cavern deep in the woods behind the park, he left the food there. Caeb had still attempted to speak with him, but finally Haku responded. Through all of their talks, Haku determined...

...Caeb knew absolutely nothing.

Shiro made her way through the woods, the violin that was usually glued to her hand now missing, it's haunting tones replaced with the simple, pure sound of her voice. She swayed as she walked, "Don't look back.. Keep your head held high, don't ask them why.. Because life is short and before you know, you're feeling old and your heart is breaking." She was in an odd mood, brought on by her thinking about her future, and what would happen if she and Kuroi ever started to drift apart, "Live and learn. Well the years they flew, and we never knew. We were foolish then, we would never tire and that little fire is still alive in me. It will never go away, can't say goodbye to yesterday."

Shiro looked up, showing a faint smile when she noticed the green haired boy, "Hello there, Ryo is it?" She brushed off her skirts, thinking she'd be covered in dirt after being out here for so long, or at least a bit.

Hikaro soared overhead, long golden wings outstretched to catch the air as it whipped past him. He whizzed through clouds at a blinding speed, using his natural predisposition to the air to sling him along with the winds. Sucking in a big breath, Hikaro stopped and began to plummet to the ground, curling his wings around him.

Spiralling faster and faster, he rocketed to the ground, eyes closed, oblivious to the world around him. The ground got frighteningly close and golden wings snapped open, lifting Hikaro up off the ground, but near enough for him to grasp a flower stem and pick it.

Hikaro was shot back up into the sky by the force of his descent, but did a quick U turn and flew back to where Ryo, Natu and Everett were. He'd been flying this way for quite some time, and Raissen was very suprised that Hikaro hadn't killed himself yet.

Landing was quite a problem when one is traveling at such high speeds. Putting on his brakes as quickly as he could manage, Hikaro skidded to a stop, but bounced once off the ground and landed on Ryo. The impact was soft, at least.
"Hello!"
