Milo smiled and gave a encouraging purr to Jenny, in the pit of his stomach it was more to himself. He loved Jenny, his pride, and Scribble. But he was afraid, that even though Scribble had almost full trust in him that he would loose it with him being Jenny's mate. His head spun as Jenny looked back he pulled a smiled a across his maw and caught up to her. He licked her cheek and playfully hip checked her. "Ready?" He asked as the den came into his view.

"Sure am." She smiled a reassuring smile before stepping paw into the main den. She hoped her father wasn't out patrolling or doing his normal duties as King, which usually required him near the boarders.
A sigh of relief washed over her, however, as she caught sight of his tail in another section of then den. It was a good thing he was home, or her stomach wouldn't be able to rest. She poked her head into the small room like part of the den and shuffled her paws a bit. She called out to him sweetly. "Daddy."
Scribble was quietly resting within the cool atmosphere of his den. A morning of patrolling his territory under the hot sun had proven to be his cause for laziness. He yawned and rolled over on his back, swishing his tail fathers back and forth contently.
His mid-afternoon nap was interrupted, however, as the sound of his daughter's sweet voice rang through his ears. He opened his eyes and sat up, shaking out his mane a bit before looking to the pair in front of him. He smiled and got to his paws, looking to his daughter happily. "Everything alright, Jenny?"

Milo smile as he made his way behind Jenny. "Hello Scribble Sir." He said as he bowed and stood behind Jenny. He was very nervous, he was going to start saying what they came for but when he opened his mouth nothing came out. He shivered and hoped no one noticed it. He shuffled his paws and grinned.

Jenny looked to Milo, catching glimpse of his nervousness and smiling softly. Scribble was her father, so she would break him the news and save Milo from fright.
She quickly cleared her throat and approached him steadily, putting on her most famous grin -one of the many traits she inherited from Scribble-. "Daddy, Milo and I have something to tell you."
Scribble quirked a brow, he knew that grin anywhere and wondered what kind of trouble she had gotten herself into. However, when she mentioned that both her and Milo and something to tell him, he knew this was far more than just getting into trouble. "And that would be?"
Jenny sighed and spilled it. "Daddy I have found love." She looked back to Milo before turning to her father again. "We have found love."
Scribble fell silent, letting the words sink into his head.
"But before you protest, I want you to know that I'm happy with him. He makes me happy." She swished her tail feathers back and forth slowly. "And besides, there is a bright side. Milo has been within out family for quite sometime now! So it's not like I'm bringing you a complete stranger." She nodded her head confidently, feeling the butterflies fluttering around within her stomach as she waited for his reply.

Milo nodded. "It is true sir." He blushed. "I love your daughter dearly and I would and will do anything for her." He smiled and Nuzzled her. "I really should have came to you and asked for your permission first, that would have been more polite." He looked up, and smiled. "I also Promise to keep her out of trouble." He bumped her side and grinned. He sat down and waited to hear what Scribble would say.

Jenny smiled and nuzzled Milo back with a purr, wrapping her tail around his and looking to her father with pleading eyes. "Before you say no, Daddy, just consider our happiness."
As the words finally processed through his boggled mind, he looked up to his daughter and pride mate with a smirk stretched across his muzzle. "Who said I was going to say no?" He raised an eyebrow.
Jenny wanted to squeal with delight at her father's response. "OH DADDY!! THANK YOU!!" Within a second she pounced her father and nuzzled him sweetly, licking his cheek. "This means a LOT to me."
Scribble chuckled, trying to keep himself sustained as his daughter threw herself against him. "I know it does. And you mean a LOT to me. I want nothing more than for you to be happy. Besides, Milo has been a member of this family, like you said, for a while now. He has earned my trust wholeheartedly." Scribbled nodded before returning his daughter's affection. "I do have one question, however. Your not going to leave to make your own pride, are you?" It pained his heart to think of letting her go. Falling in love and finding a mate was one thing, but letting her go off in search of her own pride was another.

Milo looked at Scribble. "No, we really did not talk about it, but I am too close to this pride, and I would hate to move Jenny out of her home roots." He smiled at Scribble. "I might not be a father myself but I am sure the pain is alot seeing a child go, I would also hate to do that to you." He grimmanced. "I do not wish to leave, but I will follow Jenny where ever she wishes to go, I just hope she wants to stay here." He smiled and nodded again. "And thank you Scribble."

Scribble looked to his daughter with a warming smile, then to Milo with a nod. "Your words are kind, just like your heart. You two are more than welcome to stay here at Darkest Warmth for however long you see fit. And forever seems long enough, don't you think?" He chuckled a bit, the hairs in his dark teal mane shaking a bit from the movement.
Jenny nodded to both Milo and her father's words, a huge smile stretched across her maw, and butterflies within the pit of her stomach. "I can't even see myself leaving this Pride. I've been here my entire life, it means too much to me. As long as Milo is happy here, I will always remain happy here." She looked to Milo again, nosing his jaw before speaking once more. "As long as you remember we're adult now, Daddy." She quirked an eyebrow at her father before giggling some.
Scribble sighed and nodded his head, "Don't worry, you'll have your privacy. You staying here is more than enough for me, I won't be trying to run your lives." He smiled and sat down on his haunches, his tail flickering back and forth. "I have to say, as hard as it is to let my baby girl go, I couldn't be more proud."

Milo chuckled. "For ever is perfect for me." He turned to Scribble. "Thank you sir, you already sort of treated me like a son." He laughed. "I will take care of her and since we will be living here If I do not live to standers I will promise you my head." He laughed again and muzzled Jenny.
