The eccentric "good guy" that has fashion problems and at the end of the game when you have to choose wich of your charaters to battle the boss with you, if you choose him you discover he was actually an undercover spy for the bad guys all along. *sighs, he was your best friend too*

The female werewolf who helps you by day, and fights you by night. If you kill her, you get a game over. If she is killed, you get a game over. You eventually are killed while trying to save her.

The cliche magician. He starts out with a basic sleep spell. He then learns basic elemental spells. Finally, he turns out to have the most powerful spell in the game. It, named "Celestial Scream", makes stars rain down from space upon your opponents with pinpoint accuracy.

The strange character that you see every where, yet, you can never do anything for him, to him, or with him. He turns out to be very important, and you have to find a way to talk to him or he kills you. If you do talk to him and you say the wrong thing he kills you. If you say something close to the right thing he goes along with you then decides he doesn't like your reply and kills you. If you say the right thing he becomes so devoted to you that he kills all your other charcters so you have no choice but to keep him with you.

The goth poet who just found out that she has magical control over light. Because of this, she is always seen with a darkness around her. Her spells aren't that strong, but she can cast 2 at once, at half the cost, and possibly create an extra combination effect.

The reincarnation of an ancient sage of the Wind Temple. Helps you in your quest when you defeat him as the boss and he decides you're not an evil moron who wanted to kill the temple. He ends up saving your life at the end by flying into the final boss.

The "5th elemental" chaarcter who controls time and space. After the hero summons the other 4 elementals (only to see them squashed by the uber-bad dark guy), he screams out a random phrase and somehow summons you. You sigh and blast away the bad guy, but give the hero a good stern talking to. The hero then reveals that he is the elemental of light. So, to prevent being replaced, you kill him.

The goddes of nature. She is the goal of the game. The god of corruption has trapped her and is slowly sapping away all of her powers and destorying the work she has done. Of course, the hero saves her. In reward, you cause trees to spring up from his grave when he dies years later.

The king of the bird-like race which supports your quest. He controlls all of their activity, and fights with you on the final boss. When he almost dies, you save him by calling upon his followers the way he taught you to. In return, he gives you the Golden Feather, the symbol of their species. And his eternal gratitude.

A young in-training magician. So far, all he has learned to od is makes little sparkles of light appear around him. Later, through a manditory quest, he acquires the Boots of Azar. He is then gifted with enormous magical power. Without him, you'd probably fail against the final boss.

A captured warrior that needs to be rescued as a secret charecter to the game. He is not neccessary to win the game, but he is well worth the effort with his fighting skills, making the path to the last boss a WHOLE lot easier.

The guy who alays dreamed of being evil, but was too slap-happy and goofy to succeed. So, he decides to join the hero's party. What he doesn't know is that, inside of him, is the last piece of an ancient artifact the ultimate bad guy needs to compleet his evil device. So, when the party gets to the final level, you die. After all, having an archaic relic ripped from your body can be a traumatic experience.

The trainer of an evil black kitten plushy who comes to life in the final boss battle and smashed into the boss, dying as well as killing the boss. The trainer gets mad, blames you, and then you must fight him.
