Johhny sighed and turned to look at what she seemed to be concentrating on, gathering air around him as he waited.

Shadow grinned as he sprinted after 9. As he rounded the corner he slapped the wall just around the bend again and left the seeds to grow and form another web of the acid filled tendrils. He moved quickly and began to consider what else he could do to slow a pursuer. Finally he grinned and slapped the floor beneath him as he ran leaving seeds on the ground to burst downward and spray in a square on the ground. The acid would begin to eat away at the floor and weaken it. This would lay a pit fall nearly ten feet from where Johhny was standing.

As shadow ran past him, he flipped backwards and concentrated the air to push on his back, sending him quickly forwards just soon enough to avoid the traps, falling to the ground at 9's side. He quickly jogged to keep the pace with 9, not bothering to look back.

As they got close to the lab doors the new tendril webs broke and another screech was heard. A bird like man approached them with a steady walk. He was coved with black and silver feathers, stood 14 feet tall, and had the head if a voucher. He healed just as quickly as the acid burned into his skin and it didn’t slow him down any.

Shadow didn't need to look backwards to sense what was happening. He was curious if the floor would be weak enough to fall from under the creature when it reached the part he had covered in acid but his main attention was on reaching the doors to the lab and passing on into the next area. He was quickly trying to think of something to further slow the creature and not coming up with much. He hadn't planned for this trip so he didn't have much on him. As a result he did the obvious and kept running.

The LOC stopped and raised itself up off the floor about an inch. He lifted one hand and aimed it at the three, shooting a fire ball at them
9 reached the lab doors and hoped them, quickly going in.

Johhny turned and brought his hands together, using his fingers to push the wind in hundreds of different directions of increasing speeds, it came to the point that the wind could be seen clutched between his palms. Pulling his right arm back he leaned forward and sent it at the fireball, on contact the fireball dissapeared as the wind disected it sending it in different directions until they were nothing but sparks, then he hopped into the lab after 9.

Shadow sprinted through the door and dove diagonally to the side looking around rapidly to see if there was anything of interest he could grab for his own use. He was more than willing to grab anything that looked useful in case they were short on time. Even as his eyes scanned the room he said quickly. Will these doors slow or stop it or will this be a smash and grab job 9? He hoped that 9 and Johhny would close the doors and lock or seal them once everyone was in.

A low whistle came from Johhny's lips as he looked around the place, quickly shaking his head he waited for the two to get ready. He wasn't sure where to go from here, so he'd wait for 9 to say where they were going.

Shadow began to grin as he looked around. If I were not myself I would suspect I'd died and gone to heaven. He said with a laugh. Okay 9 I'm not overly adept with technology so your input will be excellent. First we'll start by seeing what is here that can help me return your soul without neccasarily anchoring it to your body. Or if you like maybe we can transfer your essence into another body and return your soul to it. Secondly after we get you sorted out I would like you to help me find body augmentations as your side of the payment. Shadow began to look over everything around him once more but slowly inspecting it closely. He would hold to his portion of the bargain and this definitely qualified as the halfway point.

9 said she slowly started walkig around and stopped when she came to a table, she gently rubbed her left arm then turned her back to it
"Don't touch the tables unless you want to become strapped to one.. and I don't know if I canget you out."

Shadow nodded understanding as he moved around careful to not actually poke anything. He froze suddenly as yet another new thought shot through his mind. He never would have guessed about that but it did make sense in a way. What better use of his unique memory and making? 9 is there a...com puter? If I can access a data..base I think I can learn what's needed. Shadow's mouth formed words that were unfamiliar to him but made sense to his mind.

she nodded and walked over to one of the many work areas. She showed him the computer then moved away.
"I want to keep this body... But I want you to stop all teh s**t you do to it. I'm keeping the powers for now too. Your up to something... I ownly want my soul. Mayde i can get teh other part of it and my arm while I'm here."

Shadow nodded as he looked at the computer for a moment before relaxing his body to better allow it to do what was not natural to him but was for the other. His eyes altered slightly so that he could quickly scan the data. He began by setting up a search for info on the use of the other equipment and it's specs. He set the data to scroll at a page every three seconds. He further altered his face so that his eyelids ceased functioning. Three seconds would be just enough time for him to memorize the page and store the snapshot in his mind. Give me a few minutes so that I understand what's around us and then I'll begin a search on the magic items present for anything relating to storing or restoring souls. He said as the screens began flashing from page to page.
