"Well I've just moved here from another city, to take a job as an electrical engineer, how about you?" As they talked, the grief in him retreated, pushed back by other emotions, emotions directed at...her.

No more pulsingly sad emotions. Nothing high enough to be able to trigger her to feed. But her aura continued to buzz, continued to draw out any high emotion from him or make any emotions stronger.
"Oh, cool," She said with a light nod. "I'm rather new here as well, and I've taken a job as an Assistant Librarian. Which, with so few books, isn't really much of a job. But it's better than nothing." She shrugged her shoulders lightly at her own comment.

"Better to have a job and a bed than not." As they continued to talk, back and forh, he found himself more and more attracted to her, and he hoped it was mutual.

Oh, she was attracted. At least attracted to some part of him. She wouldn't mind playing interested. He could probably send off so many emotions that she'd be fine just feeding upon him. Of course, that would mean she'd have to keep him alive. And that also meant that she'd have to stick around him as much as possible. But again, that wasn't a problem.
"Well yeah, without a job..." She trailed off for a moment, "Well, that just wouldn't be a good idea." She stated finally. "Besides, there are three of us working there. Which means, we get to have a lot more breaks than we normally would." She grinned at that prospect.

There was a restaurant up ahead...a Mexican place, with a French restaurant across the street. "Uh...let's keep looking."

She gave a light nod, "So, do you have any siblings? Pets?" She asked curiously.

She laughed, "That bad huh?" She said, "Well, I'm an only child. My mother died with I was three, from cancer." She stated glancing around the street for any good looking resturant, none yet.

"You lost your mom? I was six when mine died. In childbirth." The sadness was back, but it was pale and distant compared to before.

"Yeah, my dad wasn't around much. So I basically had a nanny." She stated, "I guess it helped me become more independent. I was never dependent on others, cause no one was really around."

She nodded, "I guess our pasts were alike." She stated finally, "Oh, there's a cute Italian resturant. Care to go there?" She asked, pointing towards a resturant across the street from them.
((Sorry, gotta go.))

"Perfect!" He stepped up and held the door for her. "Ladies first."

She stepped into the resturant, it was a little up-class, but sold nothing that was too expensive. The place was rather busy at the moment, so they just waited to be seated.

Laurel and Blitz walk arm-in-arm to the little restaurant. ((Not the same one that Bobby and Charlie are at...))
