I played my Sisters of Battle to their full extent in an apoc game.

I have 20,000pts without any upgrades on the vehicles or squads. I have around 500 Sisters of varying gear and type. I also have representitives of every unit.

Played them against 4 kids who played 5,000pts of chaos each. They learned a difficult lesson on multiplying faith points. When you have 130+ faith points it's easy to keep your squads alive. I lost 100 Sisters in turn one but then like ol' spartan fashion a single "ump" pushed chaos back for a solid 3 turns of pwnage.

Fun times. I'll upload my army pictures. I just started to paint them. I've been waiting for my new apartment and displaycase. I owned a home but what does a single guy need a home for? lol

That's pretty bloody impressive. How long did it take you to put together that large of a force? Aside from that, how much cash did you have to drop for the lot of it?

@Blodwynn: Thanks again. You seem to be my source of anti-ignorance lately.

Medical Coding Specialist and a Claims Rejection Specialist.
It's good money. I make 12.50/hr, but in 2 months I'll be at 16.50/hr. in 8 months 20.50/hr

I love Insurance companies!

Now to paint them. lol I'll put up my roster in a thread, and my progress with pictures.

Geebus, my second army, my sisters, is only 1300.

You have too much cash to spend, and i make 12.25 a hour! biggrin

Gotta love PCA companies.

Well, Sisters themselves are easy to assemble. =D

Actually it seems most Inquisition armies are, because all their units tend to be metal. xD

Of course, the fact that they're in pewter means that the models themselves are of higher quality and have more detail.

Sux that my 300 Sisters with Bolters only come in 6 varieties.. Makes painting a little boring, and disciphering between squads in battle a little hard.

So i'm using the wings on the left shoulder to seperate them, using different colors.

Technically old pewter models aren't as good as current plastic models, after all the advancements GW has had in plastic models. =D

Ah, true. I was going off of some standards across other lines...
GW plastics are very, very good. I know that I'd like to see plastic Grey Knights come down the chute.

Yeah, Inquisition should be one of the next armies up. Maybe late next year. I'd probably start Grey Knights if they came in plastics. =D

Right now they're kinda pricey. sweatdrop

painting takes me a squad every 2 full days of painting. I can paint for about 14hrs straight per day. So 11 sisters every 24hrs of straight painting.

So I should have my army completely painted in.... 1 year? 20k+ in 1 year isn't bad, especially considering my painting quality.

i'm no golden demon, but I must say I'm good at painting.

been hired more than once to finish off squads for the youngins.
