The Dragon and Outsider are unknown to where they are, but The Nightbringer and Deciver have been spotted by the Imps multiple times. @ Cagalli: Rats. I wanted to use the Outsider.

From what I've read of the fluff there are really strong storline reasons as to why you'll never see the dragon.
The dragon is hinted at being the fable machine god of mars...and also supposed to be something else (which is why I don't think we'll ever see it in model form)...
The Great Devourer
The tyranid hive mind. Yeah, I know (that can't be! never! *gasp* etc) but all the fluff is pointing in that direction.
As for the outsider, I've no clue whatsoever. Maybe it's the emperor (the emperor being a c'tan is an oooooollld theory)

It seems to have been canned along with many other things when the Squats killed Andy Chambers. The Dragon sleeps (dreams?) on Mars. The Outsider is somewhere beyond the Gates of Varl.

Tasslehoff92 I'm a new necron player, but old 4dk player, wut should I buy. A lot of Necrons. Two or three boxes of Warriors is a good start. A lot of the more expensive (and ironically non-Necron) stuff just takes up space and can make for a quick phase- out. Don't add Monoliths, Tomb Spyders, Scarabs (not Skarabs anymore crying ), Pariahs, or a C'tan until you've got using the base Necrons figured out.
