Ryder strode into the infirmiry wing in his usual, relaxed, hands behind head position. Yawning a little, he sat down on a chair and watched as the nurse fixed Taerel up. The young man rolled his eyes a little when he saw her make a big deal out of the cuts on her hands. Whata sissy, he thought, definitely not my type. Twitching his ears, however, at the mention of a place called 'Sun Feather Pass,' Ryder got up and asked with a reckless grin, "sounds like my kind of place, what is it?"

Taerel looked at the boy only to see him roll his eyes in her direction. She looked at him for a moment with her large, soft purple eyes, her pink bangs hanging in front of her face. She whined pathetically to herself. Gah.. great! I just met this boy and he thinks I'm a total idiot! What a great first impression. She hated not being taken seriously, even though most of the time she brought it upon herself. She curled her right hand tightly into a fist and held it up, frowning slightly. She was determined to prove him wrong!
Her hand throbbed as the wounded threatened to reopen again. She squinted her left eye.

A bit surprised that Ryder followed, Kai pivited around to get a better look. Sun Feather pass... He had no clue about the place himself. But the conversation between the two had sparked his interest. "Aparently, its a mountain pass with guys that like to scare little children." He said rather sarcastically, leaning back against the wall, then tilting his head downward, letting his blond hair fall over his eyes. "Personally, I think Im going to check this place out." Kai said, giving a shrug. Though since he just got back from a long travel, he wasn't exactly in the mood to gather his supplies up again, and head onward to a place he didn't even know existed until now. "I'm thinking we should gather some information first. Purhaps we'll have to "Presuade" the students who just got back." He said, coldly.

Candy cautiously stepped into the infirmary, hoping to find the nurse. She was curious if the nurse used herbs or just basic medicines.
This must be the right place... I hope the nurse will accept my healing strategies... ...er... is there a nurse?
Instantly, she began to panic. Anxiety rattled her bones and her mind was racing with horrible scenarios. She shut her eyes tightly and bit her lip to focus on the pain instead of the horrible thoughts.
"Ohh," she squeaked. "I knew I should have taken Lady Slipper leaves with me..."
[[Lady Slipper (the plant) is a herb used for relaxing the nervous system.]]

"If its alright with everyone, Im going to track down those students now." Kai said, shifting his weight from the wall, back to his feet. He slowly opened the door, to find yet another person standing in front of him. A pale girl with greenish blue eyes. He slid himself from between her and the wall, out into the hallway, then looked at her again. "Nurse? Right there." Kai said, pointing at the nurse before turning to catch up with the students he overheard conversing.

Candy blinked and looked towards where he was pointing at.
"Oh... thank-" she stuttered and turned around to see who this sandy haired man was. However, she only caught a glimpse before he ran down the hallway. She blushed and hollered, "Th-thank you very much, sir!"
Turning towards the nurse, she giggled a little and put on a smile. She poked the nurse on the shoulder and coughed.
Once the nurse glanced at her she asked, "I was wondering if you needed any assistance here?"

Taerel looked at the girl that had just entered the room. Her face flushed with suprisement. What a pretty girl..
As Kai turned to catch up with the two boys, Taerel stood up and peered over to where he was heading. "K-Kai?" she asked, quickly running to catch up with him.

Kai slowwed a bit, after hearing some one call out thanks. What did he do? All he did was point at the nurse. Shrugging it off, Kai caught up with the two students. He slapped both hands on their shoulders and turned them to face him.
"Hey! What gives, man!?"
Kai narrowed his eyes at the two. "I couldn't help but over hear that you two where talking about an interesting subject. What was it again? Sun Feather Pass?" He asked, removing his hands. The smaller one to the left brushed off his shirt, then looked up to Kai.
"Its a place forbidden to students, and its dangerous. I don't know much more than that. But in a school where people have powers like us, thats enough to know that its not worth the risk to check out." He answered seriously.
"I never said I was checking the place out, I just want a list of the students that went there. Thats all." Kai said, keeping a really straight face, even when lying.
"Oh, right. Lets see, theres that elven kid that hangs around the library, and Alen, who often hangs out around the training room. Not to mention, a girl who hangs out in the church. But I doubt any of them would want to talk to you about it. Come to think of it, there is one kid that went there. Its rumered that his companion died there. And he hasn't exactly left the room ever since. What was his name?"
"Tyler Hopkins. That guy gives me the creeps. I can't even walk past his dorm anymore. Rumer has it, he has a fire axe sticking out of his wall, and a dead fish rotting on the floor."
Kai gave the two an infiriated look. "Tyo..." He said darkly, twitching with an equal amount of discust as.

Taerel remained in the background, quietly observing and listening, trying to fully understand what was going on.
"Kai..?" she asked, tugging slightly at the end of his jacket's sleeve.

Kai turned around to face Taerel. Although he looked annoyed, his emotion was not aimed at her. "What?" He asked, sounding more annoyed than his face showed. The two students shrugged and walked away.

Noticing something white at the corner of her eye, Candy noticed a girl exiting the room. Immediately, she blushed at the cute bow embracing the girl's hair.
"Cute!" she chirped unknowingly and smiled. She seems like a cool person... I wonder if I'll see her around?
She then returned to the nurse, but let her mind flutter away in a foolish daydream.

Taerel looked up at Kai with soft purple eyes. She didn't know how to word her question so that she didn't sound even more stupid. She opened her mouth, expecting something to come out, but was at loss of words. She blushed and quickly turned her head to the side, her pink hair trying to catch up with her head's movements, her short ponytail whipping her cheek gently. The large white ribbon in her hair floated down lightly to rest on her shoulder. She frowned slightly, trying to think of a reply. Her eyes trailed slowly down to her oversized brown boots, her feet pointing inward.
"Um.." she began, her holding her hands behind her back, her eyes trailing upwards to the tiled ceiling between the two.

Kai narrowed his eyes. He couldn't quite find out where Taerel was trying to go. He shrugged. Even though he just met her not to long ago, she was still a very hard person for him to figure out. But at the moment, he was more interested in finding Tyo. "Taerel, I'll be back." He said with a shrug. But as he turned around, he realized that it was too late. Tyo had found him first.
"HIYA, Buddy!" He shouted gleefully, as he slouched down the hallways with his head phones around his neck, blairing heavy metal. Tyo had surfaced from his dorm, as if summoned by Kai. Infact his sudden appearance left Kai a bit baffled. "I came out to get a soda from the vending machine, and I couldn't help but over hear you talking about Sun Feather pass. Could I ask why you are interested in heading that way?" Tyo asked, cracking the lid to his Mountain Dew.
"How could you!?" Kai asked, widening his eyes. The music blasting seamed a bit to loud to be able to hear a random conversation. Further more, how did he sneak up on Kai like that?
"Oh, sorry, Kai. I didn't mean to interupt your chat with your girlfriend." Tyo said, laughing a bit, pearing behind him to get a glimse of Taerel.
Kai flaired up in embarassment, and anger. "She's not my girlfriend!" He shouted, thrusting a pointing finger at him. "And YES! I do want to know about that place!" He shouted in equal volume of annoyance.

Half ignoring the 'girlfriend' comment, Taerel stepped out to stand beside Kai, giving a short bow, her hair trailing down with her.
"Um, hello, Sir..!!" she said, trying to be polite, raising her head to look up at the boy.

Tyo slapped on a sheepish grin, and leaned over, inches away from her face. "Wow, Kai. You got a cute one, too."
Kai quickly smacked him over the head, watching as he fell flat against the ground. "This is Tyo..." He comented, with his eyes closed. He opened them and returned to normal stance. "Tyo, this is Taerel, and she is not my girlfriend..." Kai commented more roughly to the young adult.
Tyo popped up, unharmed. Almost like a roach or something. Even though he still wore the same smile, he turned towards Kai and quickly addressed his mistake. "Wow, thats not very nice, Kai. You made me spill my soda."
"You where about to leave it in the room anyways!" Kai shouted at maximum volume. "I mean seriously. We do NOT need any more of your junk accumulating in our room!"
