~He felt her body falling asleep in his arms, still gazing down at her beautiful form. It was almost as if her consciousness has completely surrendered control of her body, relaxing within his grasp. He sat himself down upon the ground and let her rest beside him, leaning his back against one of the many tombstones that littered the graveyard.
The moment he felt his eyes fall shut, the gaping wound upon the back of his neck began to rapidly close up... The gunshot wound completely disappeared within the space of roughly 10 seconds. His appearence was that of a full human again, despite the fact he would never be one for another time.
He started thinking about the 'Elders', still not entirely sure where, or what they were even. Would it really be so forbidden for a vampire to fall in love with a blood neutral? He couldn't hunt in his current physical state. Hell he couldn't hunt anyway... That's why she was falling asleep in his arms right now and not dead in the ground.~

Neko could still smell the blood on the tree as she lounged on a branch. Is was covered in Ashley's blood, even though it had all been washed away by years of weather and simply age. It had been five years after all.
She sighed, fingering the bark patterns on the branch, convinced she could feel blood in the cracks. She had come here in ages, but she ahd felt the need, just out of respect. This was where she mourned Ashely, jsut as the lampost int he city was the monument to her other siblings.
She lept down from teh tree and headed to the City. She needed to go see the lamp post adn to remember.

He suddenly appeared like smoke, breathing in deeply. From that breath he caught Neko's scent. He looked around. "Hmm, she was here only moments ago it seems."
He shrugged and walked around all the graves. "I think I'd much rather be cremated than to be worm food..."

"Cremation is against a lot of religions you know." Neko said as she walked back from the City. "Judaism, for instance, believes that teh dead will one day regain their life and so they'll need their bodies again." She glanced around. "I'd prefer to havea body to mourn. It's tough when there's nothing left to mourn over."

He shrugged. "Fire is the most pure in my idea. Why need a body to mourn when you still have the memory of that person? And in the end isn't that all there is?"
He turned around to look at her. "So what brings you to the cemetary? I myself decided to go looking for something interesting to do."

Neko pointed right at the tree in the middle fo the cemmetary even though it was a ways behind her. The smell was all she needed to pinpoint it.
"It's a monument for me. It's my way of mourning for Ashley, and there are quite a few times I wish some of my siblings still had their bodies. It's more symbolic than anything else."

"So we do." Neko said as she gently squeezed his hand in return. "I was only twelve..." Neko murmured, looking at her other hand. Shouldn't it be stained with blood? It should be....it smelled like it should be....
