“I know them to be very deep rooted in tradition, but they are not ignorant of the nature of the modern world. They understand that there are cursed people in this world, and do not fear or hate them because of it. They are fully aware of my curse that seems to be much more dangerous then the curse you three have and they didn’t shun me because of what was done to me. The only reason they would be dangerous to us would be if we were to intentionally harm them or steal from them. The reason they practice martial arts is because barbarian tribes used to raid there temple and they needed them to defend themselves, the threat is gone now but it’s tradition so they keep at it. Besides they were friends with my master, even if I had yet to meet them I’d know they were good people.” Kayoe said that last sentence very matter-of-factly as if there was no doubt in his mind about Merinas’ judgment.

Garren sighed and shrugged.
"Well . . . I guess we have our first destination . . ."
Isarelle squeaked in excitement, "Oh, Garren! I would have gone without your consent anyways, but I'm thrilled that you agree!"
Garren scowled and said, "Yeah, yeah, don't thank me yet. So we're off in the morning. Kayoe, I trust you to lead the way, you have a map. Untill then . . ."
"Any other questions?" Isarelle asked.

((Hey guys, I'm prolly going to be pretty scarce here for a week or two because it's winter break and I'm going to be spending time with my family. Sorry to hold you guys up. I might be able to get on once or twice, or maybe my plans might change and I'll be able to get on more. I'll do what I can. You all can feel free to god-mod Isarelle and Garren {keeping in character, mind you} to the point where you have all found accomodations in the manor and no further, thank you. Happy holidays everyone! Sorry for any inconveniance.))

Tanyeera listened to the conversation and wondered if it'd be any good to just ask Sazimeca for the damn thing. If she explained they needed it to save Bellaream....she thought about it then quietly discarded the idea. Quite a number of gods and goddesses would be pleased to have Bellaream sleep for eternity so she'd stop bothering people. Tanyeera would be pleased to have Bellaream sleep for eternity without bothering her. She though, was bound by the rules to try and save the silly goddess. She didn't think any of the gods and goddesses were.
Still, she resolved that before she went to sleep that night, she'd meditate a while and see if Sazimeca might be persuaded to let them have that little trinket in his temple.
((Will anyone play Sazimeca? I don't want to mess up the storyline.))

((Sure I'll do it, let's see, I guess I'll make him, The all-seeing God of Knowledge.)) As no one else seemed to have a question Kayoe spoke up. "I don't believe so, but I am sure we would all like to turn in soon as we will have a long day of walking ahead of us tomorrow.”
Isarelle smiled “Indeed, Garren let’s get our guests to their rooms for the night!” “Can’t you tell them where they are?” “No! A good host has to show his guests where they should sleep.” Garren sighed and got up out of his chair. “This way.” He said half-heartedly. Kayoe fallowed him and the ghostly vision of his sister up a flight of stairs and down a hallway Garren then gestured to a number of doors on ether side of the hall. “Take your pick.” Isarelle looked like she found Garren’s version of showing his guests their rooms just barley tolerable. “I recommend that we all meet in the common room just before dawn.” Kayoe said as he found a room off to the right. “Goodnight, all of you.”
((Sorry, I am kind of bad at roleplaying other people’s characters.))

Tanyeera waited for everyone to choose their rooms then took the remaining one for her own. Seating herself cross-legged on its bed, she quickly sank into a deep trance. She sent her awareness roaming the divine realms in search of Sazimeca and hoped she found him soon.

Adencia followed Garren and the specter image of his sister, keeping close to the walls in case her bit of energy regained decided to give in. When they came to the rooms she chose one just past Kayoe’s. Returning his farewell she gave everyone a warm smile and shut the door.
The room looked quite comfortable; much more lavish then she was used to. Adencia sat on the bed and sighed as it squished beneath her. She would never be able to sleep on something so soft. Instead she cast a single blanket to the floor and lay down on top of it. With this she was much more comfortable and was asleep in minutes.
((I thought you did fine, no worries.))

Kayoe saw that his room was rather comfortable almost too much so for his taste, but it didn’t really bother him that much, and it would be a welcome change from sleeping outside. While he did enjoy sleeping outside, his human half needed some sort of bed every now and then. He removed his pack and his quiver and set the map down on a table beside the bed. He then tried to lay down on the bed but he sank at least four times as far then the mat he slept on at the dojo was thick. While he wasn’t overly fond of it, he could sleep almost anywhere and this bed would do. Grabbing the hilt of his sword Kayoe fell asleep.
Sazimeca sat on his chair in the realm of the gods, he knew that Tanyeera was looking for him, and probably should just appear before her, but he found it much more amusing to watch her go looking for him for a while before she made it to his little section of the divine plane. Free will was one of very few things he had trouble predicting and when you knew most everything you had to find amusement where you could. But he didn’t have to be the God of Knowledge to figure out the reason for her visit.

After wandering about for an indeterminable amount of time, Tanyeera finally happened upon the God of Knowledge. "Sazimeca!" she called. "Could I speak to you for a moment?"

As soon as everyone had a room, Garren walked back down stairs with his misty sister behind him. He wasn’t sure about this entire journey, it just made him uneasy. Not to mention the partners they had. Kayoe seemed understandable enough; trustworthy and such, Garren could see this in him already. The others didn’t seem to have any touch to them but good and he wasn’t too worried about them anyways, but there was Adencia. How did she manage to escape his holding? It’s almost impossible to get past that iron caste door when it’s locked. How could such a petite female pull such a feat as freeing herself from near impossible situations out of her sleeve at the drop of a hat?
He still didn’t trust her. But he needed a way to keep a lock on her. True, there was a lock on her room’s door and she wouldn’t be able to transform, being weak, to get out. But Isarelle would never allow it. Unless . . .
“Brother, you look troubled.” Came Isarelle’s voice from inside his head. Isarelle had already decided to fade from sight and took up her place in Garren’s conscious.
“It’s nothing.” He insisted, “I’ll just pack what we need for the journey and I’ll be off to bed.”
“Alright.”
Garren did what he said he would do then retired to his/their room on the second floor. His hour was almost up when he finally made it to bed. He would wait until it was his hour again before getting up to do what was needed. Isarelle came on time as expected and quickly fell asleep. Garren remained awake in her sleep so he could move when his hour was there.
Finally, it came.
He gingerly got out of bed so as not to wake Isarelle up and made his way towards Adencia’s room with the key. His footsteps weren’t heard by anyone in the night and he was there in no time. He slipped the key in the lock, turned it slightly, then was gone.

((My current plan is to make Sazimeca indifferent to our cause because while he recognizes the need for miracles in the world Bellaream really gets on his nerves, however if you guys want to cut out the magic compass sidequest I’ll be happy to have him be more cooperative.))
“Tanyeera, I’ve been expecting you.” The God didn’t find that joke quite as amusing as he used to but it wasn’t yet to the point where he felt like he should stop using it. “And obviously I am willing to hear what you what you have to say or else you would not have been able to find this place.” There had been days when Gods didn’t feel like dealing with mortals or a certain mortal in particular and would close of their section of the realm. “But I have to wonder what could possibly bring the host body of the Great Demon to me when I have yet to call for her.” While he wasn’t the god of sarcasm there were times when Sazimeca acted like it. While he knew the question he was more interested in how she would ask it.

Thorn not being able to sleep was pacing his room in the dark listening to the sounds of the nearly abandoned mansion. He could hear the muffled steps of someone sneaking about in the hall, so he krept to the door and opened it as quietly as possible but the door let out a load squeak as he opened it. "Uh oh." Was all he could mutter. He would just play the 11 years old he looked it was a very useful curse at times, but only to thoes who do not know what the curse is.

Garren heard the creak of the door and the little voice as he neared the end of the hall. He turned to see Thorn standing in the small crack of his doorway. Garren peered down at the little guy curiously and whispered softly, “Can I help you?”

Looking down at the floor and thinking fast Thorn muttered "I'm sorry Sir I just heard someone out here and I thought that they might be able to help me find a bathroom." He shuffled his feet and glanced up at the swordsman. "You are the one that showed us the rooms do you know where a bathroom is?"
