Cupcakes are actually advanced aliens from the planet Gwanto and they can shoot deathrays and also a new ray that gives fetus' the ability to speak, so after they shot them with this laser then the fetus would initiate the conversation.

Turns out right before you did i put my spirit into that giant helmet thingy, and once you put it on your head, I ate all the ego that was escaping, and it added to mine. Turns out further that it didnt matter, because my ego was too large to get bigger.

It does constantly, but it is buffered up back into place by a constant influx of new ego. Quite a viscious cycle.
