 Larxene continued eyeing the water suspiciously for a moment, then realized she was again leaving herself open to look 'weak'. The girl crinkled her nose a bit and stepped toward the edge of the pond, sticking her paw out to test the water. Hmm. That's not so bad. She'd been expecting it to be cold, but it wasn't terrible. It felt kind of ... funny, maybe, but not bad. She grinned at Sora briefly, "Not electrocuted yet."
Smiling and looking curious, she continued forward until she was about knee-deep in the pond, then hip-deep. The bottom of Sora's shirt floated out a bit around her legs. She looked content to stay there for a moment to adjust to the temperature and looked over at Demyx again. "So ... you really control the water?"

 Demyx watched the two in the water quietly, content with letting them...well...Larxene, get comfortable.
It was only when Larxene spoke to him that the musician spoke up.
"Sure do!"
He grinned, raising a paw out of the water. A small pillar of water rose with the paw motion, and started to spiral as Demyx twirled his finger around. Demyx made sure to keep the spiralling water near himself, so as not to startle the other two.
"Neat, huh?"
Larxene's little electrocution joke seemed to fly right over his head.

Sora swam up next to Larxene as she entered the water and watched at Demyx manipulated the water around them. "Nifty!" was all he said in reply to the 'show' Demyx put on. He turned his attention to Larxene, "Doing ok? Wanna try paddling around a bit?" He smiled then looked to the other male. "Hey Demyx, can you do me a favor and lower the water level a bit? It's not too deep, but better safe than sorry!" Sora put a paw on Larxene's shoulder. "Ready to swim?"

Larxene eyed to column of water with interest. It didn't spur any memories in her, but it was pretty neat to watch. "Impressive," she said, nodding.
She looked a bit uncertain as Sora approached her about swimming, though she relaxed some when he put his paw on her shoulder. She let her tail swirl around in the water a little, then nodded. "Okay, I'm ready to try." The girl looked over at Demyx to see if he actually could lower the water level.

The swirling water sunk down, reconnecting with the rest of the pond water.
"Sure I can! It'll just take lots of concentration..."
He nodded to them both. He couldn't exactly make the water in the pond disappear, but he could push some of it towards the other side so the level on the side they were swimming in would drop. However he'd have to hold his concentration to keep the water on that side. He hadn't tried it before, but he was willing to give it a shot to help out his 'friends'.
Slowly, the water level seemed to go down, the musician using his power to push it towards the other side. Within moments it was down enough to be at a comfortable level, and the sitarist shot them a grin.
"How's that?"

Sora waited as Demyx dropped the water level and give him a big thumbs up. "Alright, Larxene, first you need to lay on your stomach, but don't forget to keep your head up, or you'll be snorting in water, which is bad." He laughed a bit, being obvious was seemingly part of his charm. "Then move your arms in sort of a windmill motion while you kick your legs. Don't thrash around though, that'll get you drowned. And don't worry about anything, if something goes wrong, I'm here for you." Demyx was there too, but Sora had pushed that fact in the back of his mind for a second, Larxene had his full attention. "Go on and give it a try now, Larxene!"

Larxene gave Demyx an approving nod as he lowered the water lever (approving and maybe a little grateful). She huffed a sigh and braced herself as she listened to Sora's instructions. After a moment, she nodded, then scrunched down a little. Sora's shirt adhered to her as it got wet, though she didn't seem to notice for the moment.
The girl looked uncertain for a little longer, then pushed forward slightly, paddling her arms and legs in a way that felt natural, and looking as though she was concentrating fiercely. Very slowly, she started to make her way across the pond.

Demyx seemed to have some habit of sticking his tongue out when he was really concentrating, and this time was no different. Holding back the water was a bit feat, and without even realizing it he had stuck the end of his tongue out while working on holding it steady.
Despite being busy, he did manage to watch Larxene as well. She was doing great, which he honestly had no doubts she would. Swimming was natural, it was just getting over the fear of doing it that held some people back.

Sora smiled at he saw Larxene start swimming, as awkward as she looked, it was another one of those 'so she really is mortal' moments. "That's it Larxene, nice and slow, just like that! Then after you're done with the basics we can try diving!" Sora looked over to Demyx. "Looks like you're having fun too, huh? Enjoy showing off?" Sora snickered. He remembered Demyx as someone he would have gotten along with had Demyx not had orders to kill him. Oh well, things were better now then they were before, everything had worked out.

Larxene smiled a bit as she paddled to the other side of the pond. It occured to her this might be a bit easier if she wasn't in Sora's slightly baggy shirt, but she wasn't sure the others could handle it. Her smile faded as the shirt tangled a bit around one arm and she paused to fix it, groping around at the bottom of the pool with her feet, trying to find the ground.
Since Demyx had lowered the water level enough, she was able to put her toes down and prop herself up for a moment, where she wrestled with the sleeve a bit. "Come on you..." she muttered, not wanting to draw attention to herself.

Lucky for Larxene, Demyx had his attention on keeping the water back and answering Sora, so he didn't notice her struggles with the shirt.
"I do!"
Well, he did like showing off. The majority of people he met could have cared less about his powers, so it was nice being useful. Hell in this particular situation he was the only one that could have helped this way, and that felt pretty darn good.
True, the first time around Demyx had some orders against Sora....if it wasn't for those he would have gottena long just fine with the other male. But Demyx didn't remember those and they didn't bother Sora anymore, so everything was fine.

Sora smiled at Demyx, then abruptly turned his attention back to Larxene. Uh oh, looks like she's struggling with something...I should go over and help. Without wasting time Sora quickly swam up to Larxene putting his paws on her struggling arms to make sure her head wouldn't drop under the semi-shallow waters. "Larxene! You ok? Something wrong?"

Larxene gave a mighty tug on the shirt-sleeve just as Sora approached - wet shirt and wet fur were proving a tricky combination. Unfortunately for the girl, she was a bit startled by Sora's approach and slipped off her toes a little. She crashed into Sora with a splash and a yelp, clinging to him to keep from dunking herself completely.

Demyx blinked in surprise at Larxene and Sora.
"Are you okay?!"
He moved forward a bit, tilting his head as he watched them. He'd help, if he could, but it seemed Sora had the situation handled.

Sora clung to Larxene quickly making sure to keep her head above water, he gasped as they fell back and gulped in a bit of water. Coughing and choking Sora put Larxene back on her toes on the bottom on the pond. "Larxene are you okay?" Sora finally spoke after hacking up some of the water he had swallowed. "Well -that- was fun!" There wasn't a drop of sarcasm in his voice as he smiled and examined Larxene. "Anything hurt? What were you doing struggling like that before?" Sora tilted his head a bit.
